Many schedule delays and cost overruns in interior construction are caused by a lack of understanding in detailed and complicated interior works. To minimize these potential impacts in interior construction, a systematic approach for project managers to detect discrepancies at early stages and take corrective action through use of visualized data is required. This systematic implementation is still challenging: monitoring is time-consuming due to the significant amount of as-built data that needs to be collected and evaluated; and current interior construction progress reports have visual limitations in providing spatial context and in representing the complexities of interior components. To overcome these issues, this research focuses on visualization and computer vision techniques representing interior construction progress with photographs. The as-planned 3D models and as-built photographs are visualized in a 3D walk-through model. Within such an environment, the as-built interior construction elements are detected through computer vision techniques to automatically extract the progress data linked with Building Information Modeling (BIM). This allows a comparison between the as-planned model and as-built elements to be used for the representation of interior construction progress by superimposing over a 3D environment. This paper presents the process of representing and detecting interior construction components and the results for an ongoing construction project. This paper discusses implementation and future potential enhancement of these techniques in construction.

With the rise of the economic level and the improvement of the standard of living the size of the interior work is becoming large and specialized, With the recent opening of the domestic interior decoration market the order of the large-scale interior decoration work is actively received and its efficient construction is vigorously made. Accordingly reliability is required in keeping with all the accuracy of computing interior construction expenses systematically is importantly emerging. The estimation sheet written in a kind of process mode and in an area made as the construction expense breakdown mode were statistically treated and analyzed as well as quantity computation breakdown data. In determing the major factors that expert an influence on the factors of changes in construction expenses as well as the compositional ratio of construction work that becomes basic material for developing the cost model of interior decoration work the following conclusion could be made: Improvement should be made to suit the present situation by synthesizing and arranging the data practically used in current interior construction expenses. Required construction expenses for the kind of work common to each construction field are showing a given proportion and the required construction expenses of rather small scale interior construction work tend to be irregular. It is necessary to compute optimal construction expenses by calculating the optimal period of work and working personnel in consideration of the influential factor in each work.

Today the social concern about Interior Design gradually requires wide comprehension. Also according to demanders' requirement. Universities cope with speed. Interior Design made by experts for the function and purpose in the conception of decoration. Therefore, Universities we responsible to educate for more capable professional designers. But management is the first concern for Interior Design Company students are going to work at. Interior Design has not the important state yet in Korea, it is hard to manage the company with design alone. As architecture must get admittion, design is apart from construction. but they are worked together in Interior Design. It is true that all the work of construction is Capenters' or technical engineers' work except space design. Of course students are interested in just design not in construction. Students majoring in design need wide understanding of construction not a concept design. but detailed design for construction and proper valuation ability to manage company. I propose component and practical use of nude construction department to understand detailed design.

These days, interior construction is performed to prevent the deterioration of old building finishings or to make distinctive designs. In case of interior construction, a construction cost is estimated through basic 2D drawings in the design step. Accordingly, an efficient construction plan and direction is established according to budget. In such a case, construction is dependent on 2D drawings. At that time, a risk can occur easily. This study is aimed at reducing the cost and risk of interior construction by implementing 3D drawings with the use of the visual data of 2D drawings. For accurate analysis, 2D drawings were completed, and then 3D interior construction modeling for various buildings was conducted with the 3D modeling software 3D Max. According to the 3D modeling, it reduced the cost and risk more than 2D drawings based design, and influenced the improvement in the understanding of orderers and workers.

With the ever-increasing important of high-speed information in society as we move towards the 21 st century. Interior design and it's working condition has been changed a great deal included a sort of each special character and make a difference against the others. Starting work phase ; -Capacity , Safety of temporary power line. -Carriage, Stock of Material -Safety of Electronic tools, -Personal protector. Ⅲ. Working period ; -Ventilation, I illumination of working place. -Measurement of environmental working condition Ⅳ.Finish working phase ; -Analysis of measurement data. -Evaluation and making up for the weak point. -Keeping data.

Interior Design has not the important state yet in Korea, it is hard to manage the company with only design works on the table. As architectural design side must get some admission, design is apart from construction. but they are worked together in Interior Design. Also, as the architectural design with process detail drawings, interior design is required the detail design for construction. But it is the facts that the college is interested in and concentrated on rather education for design and space plan than intensive education for construction because of the restricted environment of practice room. I propose component and practical use of nude construction department to understand detailed design.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the rational plans of Information Management in the interior finishing work. The results of this study are summarized as follows; I) Analytical survey of actual construction progress of interior finishing work 2) Review of computer-based development in construction planning & information management of interior finishing work 3) Structure of interior finishing work Planning and Management Support System And the expectancies of this paper are that it can be used as efficient data for improvement of system to systematize planning and execution of interior finishing work in korea.

The purpose of this research is to develop interior construction cost-estimating system at the early stage of the project. Though general construction estimates are typically in quantitative, interior construction should be in rather qualitative. Therefore, design-concerned cost-estimating methods should be developed to manage interior projects from the early statge. 30 estimates of VIP-Zone interior projects, were examined to develop the general type of composition and material classification. The cost has been classified by construction parts such as wall, ceiling, floor, and doors & windows and their treatments. The composition and material related estimating system (CMRES) was consisted of the unit average costs of classification and the variation coefficients. The CMRESS was verified by the case study, and the results sowed that the difference between the actual estimate and the CMRES was competitively confident.

In the public sector, the number of interior construction projects is continuously increasing. When the interior construction is carried out, it is largely divided into design and construction stages. On the other hand, in order to place an order in the public sector, it requires institutional conditions such as business type, price criterion, award criteria, and guarantees. But in th case of interior design, it is necessary to establish a basis law to be applied for ordering. Therefore, this study analysed the necessity of improving the system related to the interior design order in the public sector and suggested ways to improve the system. In the future, we will continue to conduct research based on this research, and if institutional improvement is made through the proposed methodology, it will be possible to apply effectively not only in the public sector but also in the private sector.

It is the purpose of the this study to use preliminary data to improve job environment, after looking job satisfaction and environment of interior construction workers. The following were the method of study. First, Through the literature, concept and the main theory on job satisfaction are examined. And It draws elements affecting job environment and satisfaction of interior construction workers. Based on this, we analyze job environment and satisfaction, and find what the satisfaction level is low, after a survey of interior construction workers. According to the survey, the result of the job environment is poor that people are working a lot more than a standard 10-hour day, not paid for it and absence of the education system for future. The larger workplace was in poor job conditions. the result of the job satisfaction is higher in case of smaller workplace or workers with less than 1 year or more than 8 year. As job satisfaction for interior construction score 3.30, it showed relatively higher satisfaction than job environment and satisfaction elements.
