고속 펄스 모터 콘트롤러 칩의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of High Speed Pulse Motor Controller Chip)

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented a precise pulse motor controller chip that generates the pulse needed to control step motor, DC servo and AC servo motors. This chip generates maximum pulse output rate of 5Mpps and has the quasi-S driving capability and speed and moving distance override capability during driving. We designed this chip with VHDL and executed a logic simulation and synthesis using Synopsys tool. The pre-layout simulation and post-layout simulation was executed by Compass tool. This chip was produced with 100 pins, PQFP package by 0.8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ gate array process and implemented by completely digital logic. We developed the test hardware board of performance and the CAMC(Computer Aided Motor Controller) Agent softwate to test the performance of the pulse motor controller chip produced. CAMC Agent enables user to set parameters needed to control motor with easy GUI(Graphic User Interface) environment and to display the output response of motor graphically.

Mechanical Properties of Thermoplastic Composite Reinforced Porous Carbon

  • Porous carbon from charcoal filled polypropylene composites were prepared and their mechanical properties were evaluated. In preparing the composites, crosslinking agent (sodium benzonate) were used in order to improve the bonding force between matrix and fillers. In this study, the effects of charcoal powder and sodium benzonate concentration on the mechanical properties and interface phenomena on the composites were evaluated. The mechanical properties of composites increased progressively with the decrease of filler loading. In the case of addition of the crosslinking agent into the composite, the mechanical properties were increased and showed maximum value at the 3 wt% concentration of sodium benzonate. According to the result of the TGA, the weight loss of composite according to crosslinking agent was not observed and initial thermal degradation temperature of composite reinforced charcoal was located at $390^{\circ}C$.

  • VoIP(Voice over IP) 시스템을 구현함에 있어서 호설정을 처리하는 여러 프로토콜이 제안되고 있는 가운데 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)에서 제안한 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)는 텍스트 기반의 프로토콜로서 구현과 파싱이 쉬운 등 많은 장점을 가지고 있어 차세대 VoIP의 표준으로 자리잡고 있다. 또한, 뛰어난 확장성을 가지고 있어 다양한 서비스에 적용할 수 있는 호설정 프로토콜이다. 본 논문에서는 SIP를 이용한 VoIP 시스템을 구현함에 있어 주요 구성요소 중 하나인 UA(User Agent)를 2002년 6월에 발표된 새로운 SIP 버전에 맞추어 개발하였다. 본 UA는 플랫폼에 독립적으로 기능을 할 수 있도록 자바(Java)를 사용하여 GUI(Graphical User Interface)환경으로 구현하였다 그리고 RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol) 전송 모듈을 통하여 호설정이 이루어진 후 실제 음성과 화상통신이 이루어지는 부분을 포함하였다.

  • 본 논문은 INMARSAT-C를 통하여 육상의 인터넷 메일이나 웹 사용자와 선박간 편리한 메시지 송수신 서비스를 제공하는 인터넷 기반의 메시지 전송 에이전트의 설계 및 구현에 대해서 논한다. 이를 위하여 육상과 선박간 통신을 위한 전체적인 시스템 구성, 에이전트의 구성 모듈, 송ㆍ수신 데이터의 관리를 위한 데이터베이스를 설계, 구현한다. 본 논문의 타당성 검토를 위하여 메시지 파싱(parsing), 데이터베이스, 메시지 포맷, X.25 인터페이스 등의 모듈을 구현하여 시험하고, 그 결과를 토대로 선박 내 데이터베이스 접근과 더불어 선박 자동화 시스템의 가능성을 논한다.

  • The prototype of forest fire management system on Web was studied. In the architecture of this system, one of the most important concerns is to handle load upcoming to Web Server so that it provides Web service without any delay or failure. In order to solve this problem, the agent is designed on dispatcher in a Web server cluster and implemented to distribute load dynamically by considering the information related to load coming to the Web Server such as the number of connection to the Map Server. The proposed forest fire management system has user-friendly interface with the GIS mapping functionality by selecting Map Objects Internet Map Server (MO IMS) as Map Server and is implemented using Java as programming language.

  • Recently, there are lots of concerning on ubiquitous environment of robots and URC (Ubiquitous Robotic Companion). In this paper, a practical ubiquitous interface system far controlling mobile robots in indoor environments was proposed. The interface system was designed as a manager-agent model including a PC manager, a mobile manager, and robot agents for being able to be accessed by any network. In the system, the PC manager has a 3D virtual environment and shows real images for a human-friendly interface, and share the computation load of the robot such as path planning and managing geographical information. It also contains Hybrid Format Manager(HFM) working for transforming the image, position, and control data and interchanging them between the robots and the managers. Mobile manager working in the minimized computing condition of handsets has a mobile interface environment displaying the real images and the position of the robot and being able to control the robots by pressing keys. Experimental results showed the proposed system was able to control robots rising wired and wireless LAN and mobile Internet.

  • This study is to investigate the adhesive strength of composite material's interface on the experimental methode of tree growth in the material. The results are as fellows 1) The irradiations of ultrasonic energy cause the mechanical vibration in the polymer composite materials of fluid state, so then bring about physical dispersion and heat form inorganic materials, being supposed to produce chemical crosslinking reaction, decreasing of voids between filler and matrix. 2) The characterics of the breakdown are increased by using coupling agent in the composite material. 3) As the intensity of ultrasonic energy and its irradiated time are larger, the tree inception and break-down voltages increase and the tree growing is slower. so we obtain that the interface adhesive force tan be strengthened by the irradiation of ultrasonic energy.

  • This paper discusses the interacting mobile robots for tele-operation system using the world wide web. In multi-agent and web-based teleoperation environment the problem of communication delay must be solved for the efficient and robust control of the system. The standard graphic user interface(GUI)is implemented using Java Programing language. The web browser is used to integrate the virtual environment and the standard GUI(Java applet) in a single user interface. Users can access a dedicated WWWserver and download the user interface. Reinforcement learning is applied to indirect control in order to autonomously operate without the need of human intervention. Mussel-Inspired, Fast Surface Modification of Solid Substrates

  • Recently, mussel-inspired surface modification, called polydopamine coating has been extensively implemented to many areas, due to its material versatility and ease to use. In particular, incubation of substrates in an alkaline dopamine solution resulted in self-polymerization of dopamine and modified variety of material surfaces, including noble metals, metal oxides, ceramics, and synthetic polymers. However, the polydopamine coating has a drawback to practical use; it takes more than 12 hrs to introduce sufficient polydopamine layers to solid substrates. Here, we investigated the rate-enhanced polydopamine coating by varying reaction conditions: pH, concentration, and the addition of the oxidizing agent. As a result, the optimum condition for fast polydopamine coating was found, and solid substrates were efficiently coated with polydopamine layers in just few minutes using the condition. The polydopamine-modified surface was characterized by XPS and contact angle goniometry, and the biocompatibility of the modified surface was also proved by cell attachment test.

  • 복잡한 의사결정과 협상 환경을 위한 에이전트 기반 시스템은 환경에 대한 감지 및 반응이라는 간단한 작동방식을 가지는 다중 에이전트 시스템과는 다르게 접근되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 가상 생산 환경을 응용 분야로 하여 복잡한 의사결정과 협상 환경을 위한 다중에이전트 시스템을 구현하는 과정에서 발생하는 연구이슈를 정리하고, 이들을 해결하는 하나의 사례를 제시한다. 가상 생산 환경은 다수 조직치 존재, 자원제약의 문제, 시간이 제한된 상황에서의 일정 계획 문제 등 복잡한 의사결정과 협상 환경의 전형적인 요소를 가지고 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서, 본 연구는 시간제약하에서의 외부협상 및 내부협력을 위한 프로토콜을 개발하고, 실세계의 시간제약을 만족하는 범위에서 최적화모형과 휴리 스틱모형을 상황적으로 적응하는 체계를 제시하며, 에이전트간의 소통 메시지를 이들 의사결정모형으로 모형화하는 과정을 예시한다.
