  • The development of distant education on the internet has undergone a great change. However, many of the educational ways force to students to acquire the technical skills by repeatedly practising the contents. These learning styles have certain advantages, for example, providing feedback without delay and constant learning, but they also have disadvantages. For instance, they reduce the motivation and interest level of the students. And if the students don't participate in class, they simply will not improve in their ability. This study provides a solution which will has an influence on the other classes. We can utilize self-learning, interactive and leveled studying with animation and teaching aids.

  • E-textile technology has earned a great deal of interest in many fields; however, existing wearable network protocols are not optimized for use with conductive yarn. In this paper, some of the basic properties of conductive textiles and requirements on wearable personal area networks (PANs) are reviewed. Then, we present a wearable personal network (WPN), which is a four-layered wearable PAN using bus topology. We have designed the WPN to be a lightweight protocol to work with a variety of microcontrollers. The profile layer is provided to make the application development process easy. The data link layer exchanges frames in a master-slave manner in either the reliable or best-effort mode. The lower part of the data link layer and the physical layer of WPN are made of a fabric serial-bus interface which is capable of measuring bus signal properties and adapting to medium variation. After a formal verification of operation and performances of WPN, we implemented WPN communication modules (WCMs) on small flexible printed circuit boards. In order to demonstrate the behavior of our WPN on a textile, we designed a WPN tutorial shirt prototype using implemented WCMs and conductive yarn.

  • A growing dynamic electrical demand has created an increasing interest in utilizing nonconventional energy sources like Photovoltaic (PV), wind power, etc. In this context, this paper focuses on the design and development of a composite power controller (CPC) in the decoupled double synchronous reference frame (DDSRF) combining the advantages of direct power control (DPC) and voltage oriented control (VOC) for a PV sourced grid connected inverter. In addition, a controller with the inherent active filter configuration is tested with nonlinear and unbalanced loads at the point of common coupling in both grid connected and autonomous modes of operation. Furthermore, the loss and reactive power compensation due to a non-fundamental component is also incorporated in the design, and the developed DDSRF model subsequently allows independent active and reactive power control. The proposed developed model of the controller is also implemented using MATLAB-Simulink-ISE and a Xilinx system generator which evaluate both the simulated and experimental setups. The simulation and experimental results confirm the validity of the developed model. Further, simulation results for the DPC are also presented and compared with the proposed CPC to further bring out the salient features of the proposed work.

  • The object of this paper is to increase in domestic use of export factoring for small and medium trading companies. Factoring involves a process where a specialized firm assumes the responsibility for the administration and collection of account receivable for its clients. It can be considered a form of short term commercial financing based on selling of trade credit at a discount, or for a prescribed fee plus interest. The youngest and smallest businesses cannot receive working capital for account receivable for export from financial companies, while larger businesses tend to have less need for factoring services. Using export factoring provide a valuable improvement to cash flow and working capital position and can possibly contribute to small business growth and development. There are several suggestions for export factoring to activate in Korea. First, the number of factoring companies need to be enlarge to activate export factoring in trade and financial policies. Second, factoring companies have to perform public relations for trading companies to inform the export factoring system and its advantages. Third, government need to support the system of export factoring with legislation and financial instruments. Forth, trading companies need to be reformed credit inquiry system in terms of expenses and methods by government This paper has attempted to emphasize on export factoring for small and medium size exporting companies and deserves more research by academics, practitioners and trade policy makers.

  • The tremendous growth of the Internet, particularly World Wide Web, has resulted in significant changes in commerce environments. Internet has brought significant changes in the economics of marketing channels and has led to a redefinition of industry value chain. Electronic Commerce(EC) has become so important that countries and firms unprepared for this new trend would lose competitive advantages in the coming century of Digital Economy. Despite its importance, current EC markets in Korea are immature and there still exist several barriers to EC development thus excluding business to consumer EC markets. As interest in quality management and its effect on competitive performance has grown, there has been a corresponding proliferation of research. However, the majority of the research on quality management has not evolved in a comprehensive and rigorous fashion, particularly with regard to reliability and validity issues. The purpose of this paper investigates on Vitalization of the Activities of on-line shopping mall under of TQM system in Korea. That would make it possible to remove elements of insecurity and doubt currently felt by many users of on-line shopping mall(internet detail or cyber mall) business. In addition, we tried to find out what factors discourage consumers from using electronic purchasing methods, as well as how perceived quality factors and customer satisfaction when consumers are exposed to the purchase process on the on-line shopping mall business.

  • As a result of the enormous amount of information that has been collected with E. coli over the past half century (e.g. genome sequence, mutant phenotypes, metabolic and regulatory networks, etc.), we now have detailed knowledge about gene regulation, protein activity, several hundred enzyme reactions, metabolic pathways, macromolecular machines, and regulatory interactions for this model organism. However, understanding how all these processes interact to form a living cell will require further characterization, quantification, data integration, and mathematical modeling, systems biology. No organism can rival E. coli with respect to the amount of available basic information and experimental tractability for the technologies needed for this undertaking. A focused, systematic effort to understand the E. coli cell will accelerate the development of new post-genomic technologies, including both experimental and computational tools. It will also lead to new technologies that will be applicable to other organisms, from microbes to plants, animals, and humans. E. coli is not only the best studied free-living model organism, but is also an extensively used microbe for industrial applications, especially for the production of small molecules of interest. It is an excellent representative of Gram-negative commensal bacteria. E. coli may represent a perfect model organism for systems biology that is aimed at elucidating both its free-living and commensal life-styles, which should open the door to whole-cell modeling and simulation.

  • This study can be divied into three major sections: 1. Background on the 1980s : The 1980s can be characterized as a era of rising expectations over the quality of life. Interest in art, history, culture, and new technology increased to appeal to a greater audience. In fashion, these changes led to greater focus on quality and unique stylishness as fashion represented a medium through which luxury and refined tastes could be expressed. 2. Textile Trends of the 80s Divided into 4 Periods : The period of 1980-82 saw the mixture of natural lines with constructive lines. The textiles used in fashions in this period can be characterized by natural materials, mannish materials of the 1950s, feminine materials of the 1920s and 30s, and spoty materials of the 1960s. The period of 1983-85 was an avante garde period which used rustic avante-garde materials and art craft materials. The period of 1986-87 can be described as minimalistic and neo-classical which incorporated materials which represents a metropolitan feel, retro decorative materials and sporty, futuristic mat-erials. Lastly, the period of 1988-89 produced ethnic and natural fashions which relied on traditional British materials, country elegant and innocent look fabrics, ethinic and ecology-minded materials, in addition to comfortable and sports casual materials. 3. Characteristrics and methods of expression for textiles in the 1980s, : In the 1980s, the development of textiles have can be divided into 4 distinct patterns: decorative materials, sporty materials. • Korea may have the social environment that has a high interest and demand for the fashion industry, but the relative importance that the Hanbok industry occupies in the fashion industry is very low. It can be found that this is attributed to the difficulty in identifying the trends of Hanbok due to the smallness of Hanbok material producers and Hanbok producers, a change in consumers' consciousness of Hanbok, the difficulty of ties and integration between Hanbok-related organizations, the lack of support from government and the like. Given the recent trend that the principal factor that enables the Korean fashion industry to be competitive in the world fashion business community is based on the beauty of Hanbok, this indifference to the Korean Hanbok industry would be the roadblock to internationalizing the Korean fashion industry. Accordingly, this study attempted to identify the problem of Hanbok-rela1ed department as the basic work for the development of the Hanbok industry and present the plan to activate it, thereby providing basic materials for exploiting the new arena of the Hanbok cultural industry the domestic and foreign fashion market in the 21st century.
