The paper proposes a knowledge innovation performance model by the dynamic data envelopment analysis with slacks-based measure approach for evaluating the effectiveness of 30 regional knowledge innovation activities in China from 2010 to 2016. In recent years, China has paid more attention to knowledge innovation activities, as central and local governments have pushed on with their innovation projects by lots of investment whatever the difficulties may be. Decision-maker is usually interested in judge its knowledge innovation performance relative to target benchmark by exploring whether one provincial administration region performs better among others and/or if the growth of economy will be benefited greatly by the knowledge innovation activities. To acquire the managerial insight about this issue from a comprehensively designed performance evaluation model, knowledge innovation activity is conceptualized as an intertemporal production process. Invention patent and regional gross product are imposed on desirable outputs, highlighting the need for knowledge economy. The empirical result shows that knowledge innovation has a positive effect on economic development. At the same time, decision-maker should be interest in the economic effect of patents' type and quality. The government should then encourage new technical applications with greater commercial value from a market-oriented perspective, in order to benefit the most from the innovation process in the short-run.

Recently, we have a lot interest in a sudden rise of oil prices and a change weather for the earth warmming, so, development of new alternative fuels need in order to spare fossil fuel and reduce exhaust emissions for air pollution prevention. Biodiesel, which can be generated from natural renewable sources such as new or used vegetable oils or animal fats, may be used as fuel in diesel engine of compression ignition engine. In this paper, the combustion characteristics between neat diesel oil and biodiesel blends(10 vol.% biodiesel and 20 vol.% biodiesel) were tested using four stroke, direct injection diesel engine, especially this biodiesel was produced from soybean oil at our laboratory. This analysis showed that cylinder pressures, the rate of pressure rises and the rate of heat releases were decreased as the blending ratios of biodiesel to diesel oil increased because of lower heating value of biodiesel in spite of increased oxygen content in biodiesel.

Several problems occur in reading education in a elementary school. They are the lack of considering the difference of student's capability and diagnosing their reading ability, the review activity focusing on only text and the discontinuation between school and home. Our system is designed and implemented to support leveled reading education using multimedia technology. We can diagnose the student's reading ability exactly and promptly and introduce suitable books considering their ability, and work the proper review activities with this system. It can help the students to interest their reading.

The purpose of this study was to explore the potential development of a communal child care project that would lead towards a more family friendly community. By reviewing the case of the Daejeon Health Family Support Center, the study revealed that many child care providers showed an interest in communal child care. But the providers also had problems seeking both partners for communal child care and a communal place to gather. The Daejeon Health Family Support Center had several elements of strength in communal child care project. First, they provided educational programs for care providers to promote the professional knowledge and skills needed for child care and education. The participants' responses to the program were satisfactory, in that they showed the relative effectiveness of such programs in improving attitudes towards Pumasi, along with customized services and other programs provided by the Healthy Family Support Center. In addition, the availability of professional child care services in the attached gym, the Saturday classes for dual earner families, and the prompt response by the center to requests that more space be provided, also contributed to the success of Pumasi program.

And it has groped and suggested various countermeasures, strategies and tactics in the 4Ps perspectives, considering the problems and conditions of Cruise service of Incheon Port.

Interest in weekend farming has been increasing recently among city-dwellers although it is still only in the beginning stages. Weekend farming has been increasing recently among city-dwellers although it is still only in the beginning stages. Weekend farms provide people with new activities and also help to preserve green areas within the city. It is necessary to understand what weekend farm users think and what problems they encounter in order to increase the use of these farms. For this reason, we studied 16 weekend farms in Seoul managed by the Rural Guidance Office and the Agricultural Cooperative. We distributed 24 questionnaires by hand and these were later returned by mail. The questionnaire asked weekend farmers about their motivation for using the farms, about their motivation for using the farms, frequency of use, level of satisfaction, current state of housing and the sort of plants they cultivated, among other things. We found that most of them live in apartments and have little access to green areas,. Weekend farm users were generally satisfied. However, they had a lack of gardening knowledge and reported that facilities such as toilets and water service were unsatisfactory. Political support is needed from the government in order to improve weekend farms. There needs to be a wider range of farm sizes and an increase in the uses of the farms. If these improvements occur, investment in and the development of weekend farming will increase and weekend farms will take root in Korea.

The purpose of this research was to investigate and analyse the internal structural organisation of UK's urban fringe management initiatives and its roles. Caerphilly Mountain Countryside Service and Thames Chase Community Forest Initiatives were investigated. The Caerphilly Mountain Countryside Service Initiative operates through a tiered structure consisting of the Caerphilly Mountain Joint Committee, the Officers' Working Party, and the management team. The Thames Chase Community Forest Initiative is operated through a tiered structure comprising the Thames Chase Joint Committee and the management team. Although the role of each management initiative is invested differently in certain internal organisational bodies, such as the governance body and the management body, what is common to all the urban fringe management initiatives is that the governance body within each management initiative tries to speak with one voice to bring about an effective operation process, and the management team employs a variety of devices to secure the enrolment of a variety of interest groups in its operational processes.

It is necessary to Self Directed Astronomy Learning based on web to bring up individuality and creativity. Accordingly, the contents of this study is constructed by Astronomy which connects with our life but unable to observe actually. The contents is dynamic animation for learner's interest. The learners are able to decide their grade for themselves through the on-line evaluation according to their precedence learning. The Learner is able to evaluate by multiple-choice provide feedback by realtime. The contents is learned by themselves and introduced by the familiar contents in the real life, that is presented as the subject of experiment or observation connected with learning contents in the life.

During the last decade, an increasing interest in Underfloor Air-Conditioning(UFAC) systems has emerged. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate comprehensively the indoor environmental performance of office buildings with UFAC system in order to develope the design prototype of this system. In this paper, the physical measurements and the interviewing survey of occupant's sensation responses to the environment were carried out. Measurements and survey were made of the thermal environmental factors such as air temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, globe temperature, and the other several environmental factors such as the sound level and the illuminance of working plane, etc. And, the air quality was evaluated by measuring the concentration of suspended particles, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide in the room. Furthermore, the paper appraises the various indoor environmental factors of the room by using post-occupancy evaluation(POE) method in office building with UFAC system, and thus, it suggests the basic data for assessing the indoor comfort based on field measurements and survey.

The purpose of present research is to develop and efficient numerical method for the calculation of potential flow and predict the wave-making resistance for the application to ship design of tuna purse seiner. Havelock was considered the wave resistance of a post extending vertically downwards through the water from the surface, its section by a horizontal plane being the same at all depths and having its breadth small compared with its length. This enables us to elucidate certain points of interest in ship resistance. However, the ship has not infinite draft. So, the problem which is investigated ind detail in this paper is the wave resistance of a mathematical quadratic model in a uniform stream. The paper deals with the numerical calculation of potential flow around the series 60 with forward velocity by the new slender ship theory. This new slender ship theory is based on the asymptotic expression of the Kelvin-source, distributed over the small matrix at each transverse section so as to satisfy the approximate hull boundary condition due to the assumption of slender body. The numerical results using the panel shift method and finite difference method are compared with the experimental results for wigley mono hull. There are no differences in the wave resistance. However, it costs much time to compute not only wave resistance but also wave pattern over some range of Froude numbers. More improvements are strongly desired in the numerical procedure.
