목재(木材)-금속(金屬)플레이트 접합부(接合部)의 하중(荷重)-변위(變位) 특성(特性) 및 조합하중성능(組合荷重性能)에 대한 모형 분석 (II) - 조합하중모형(組合荷重模型)과 실험적(實驗的) 입증(立證) - (Load-Displacement Characteristics and Interactive Load Capacity Model for Metal Plate Connections in Wood(II) - Interactive Load Capacity Model and Experimental Verification -)

  • 고도(高度)의 엔지니어링 구조물(構造物)로 경제성이 높은 경량(輕量) 목조(木造)트러스에 사용될 수 있는 소나무(Pinus densiflora) 재(材)에 적용한 20게이지 아연도금 강(鋼) 플레이트 접합부(接合部)의 조합하중(組合荷重) 및 모멘트 성능(性能)을 평가하기 위하여 정밀도를 개선(改善)한 편심가력(偏心加力) 장치(裝置)를 창안하여 실험하고 반강절(半剛節) 접합부의 개념(槪念)과 가상(假想)일 법(法)을 적용한 모형을 유도하여 비선형(非線形) 해석(解析)하였다. 반강절(半剛節) 접합부(接合部)의 개념을 도입하여 저자가 유도한 비선형(非線形) 모형으로 조합하중 하에서의 접합부 거동을 해석한 결과, 금속 플레이트 접합부의 모멘트는 Wolfe 모형에 비하여 정확도가 높은 값으로 계산되었는데, 이는 비선형모형에서 접합부의 반강성(半剛性)에 의한 2차적인 모멘트의 영향을 적절히 고려한 때문으로 판단되었다. 본 연구에서 사용한 실험장치는 조합하중에 대한 금속 플레이트 접합부의 성능을 평가하기 위한 표준시험법(標準試驗法)으로 적용될 수 있을 것이며, 비선형(非線形) 해석방법(解析方法)은 조합하중(組合荷重)및 모멘트 성능(性能)을 예측(豫測)하는데 활용될 수 있다.

  • This paper presents a grid-interactive current controlled voltage source inverter (CCVSI) with uniterruptible power supply (UPS), which uses an inner current control loop (polarized ramp time (PRT)) and outer feedback control loops to improve grid power quality and UPS. To reduce the complexity, cost and number of power conversions, which results in higher efficiency, a single stage CCVSI is used. The operation of this system could be divided into the power quality control (PQC) state mode and the UPS state mode. In PQC mode, the system operated to compensate the reactive power demand by nonlinear load or variation in load. In UPS mode. the system is controlled to provide a sinusoidal voltage at the rated value for the load when the gird fail. To verify the proposed system, a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental results for 1KVA load capacity is presented.

신뢰성에 기초한 강상형 곡선램프교의 안전도 및 잔존내하력 평가 (Reliability-Based Assessment of Safety and Residual Load Carrying-Capacity of Curved Steel-Box Ramp Bridges)

  • Highly curved steel-box bridges are usually constructed as ramp structures for the highway interchange and metropolitan elevated highway junction, but a number of these bridges are deteriorated and damaged to a significant degree due to heavy traffic. The main objective of the study is to develop a practical reliability-based assessment of safety and residual load carrying-capacity of existing curved steel-box ramp bridges. In the paper, for the realistic assessment of safety and residual load carrying-capacity of deteriorated and/or damaged curved steel-box bridges, an interactive non-linear limit state model is formulated based on the von Mises's combined stress yield criterion. It is demonstrated that the proposed model is effective for the assessment of reliability-based safety and the evaluation of residual load carrying-capacity of curved steel-box bridges. In addition, this study comparatively shows the applicability of various reliability analysis methods, and suggests a practical and effective one to be used in practice.

  • This paper deals with the grid-interactive small battery energy storage system, which aims at the integration o( power quality improvement and demand side management. The main purpose of the proposed system is to achieve the peak power cutting and to compensate the current harmonics and reactive power at the point of installation on power distribution for residential homes. paper deals with the grid-interactive small battery energy storage system, In this paper, the basic principle and control algorithm is analyzed, theoretically and the design methodology of the system is discussed. To verify the proposed system, a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental results for 1 KVA load capacity is presented.

Experimental study of moment redistribution and load carrying capacity of externally prestressed continuous composite beams

  • A comparative experimental study of prestressed continuous steel-concrete composite beams was carried out. Two continuous composite beams were tested, one of which was plain continuous steel-concrete composite beam, while the other was a composite beam prestressed with external tendons. Cracking behavior and the load carrying capacity of the beams were investigated experimentally. Full plasticity was developed in the mid-span section each beam, the maximum moments attained at the internal support sections however were governed by local buckling which was related to the slenderness of composite section. It was found that in hogging moment regions, the ultimate resistance of an externally prestressed composite beam would be governed by either distortional lateral buckling or local buckling, or interactive mode of these two buckling patterns. The results show that exerting prestressing on a continuous composite beam with external tendons will increase the extent of internal force and moment redistribution in the beam. The influences of local and distortional buckling on the behaviors of the composite continuous beams are discussed. The Moment redistribution and the load carrying capacity of the prestressed continuous composite beams are evaluated, and it is found that at the ultimate state, the moment redistribution in the prestrssed continuous composite beams is greater than that in non-prestressed composite beams.

  • 국내 보도육교의 경우, 단순한 구조형식과 공장제작에 의한 현장조립의 신속한 시공 및 유지관리상의 장점들로 인하여 표준화된 강상형 보고육교가 교통혼잡이 심한 도심지와 각종 국도상에 다수 건설되어 왔지만, 이중 상당수의 육교가 공용년수 증가와 더불어 열화손상되어 안전도 및 사용성이 매우 불량한 상태에 있다. 본 논문에서는 열화손상된 기존의 강상형 보도육교의 실제적인 안전도 및 잔존내하력을 평가하기 위하여 선진각국에서는 이미 일반화되고 있는 von Mises'조합응력항복기준에 기반을 둔 한계상태설계법에 기초하여 각 구조부위의 항복 및 좌굴에 대한 각각의 비선형 한계상태모형을 제안하고 이를 실구조물에 적용해서 안전도평가 및 신뢰성평가를 수행하여 제안된 모형의 타당성을 고찰하였다. 뿐만아니라 노후된 기존 강상형 보도육교에 대한 현장재하시험 방법과 이들 시험결과를 이용한 실용적이고 합리적인 잔존내하력 평가방법을 제안하고 각국 시방서별/설계방법별로 비교, 고찰하였다.

  • A number of typical type of steel-box pedestrian bridges are constructed in the metropolitan highway or heavy traffic urban area. Although it has the advantage of speedy construction because of its simple structural form and prefabricated erection method, it has been reported that many of these bridges are deteriorated or damaged and thus are in the state such that it would give unsafe and uncomfortable feeling to pedestrians. In the paper, for the realistic assessment of safety and residual earring-capacity of deteriorated and/or damaged steel box pedestrian bridges, an interactive non-linear limit state model are formulated based on the von Mises' combined stress yield criterion. It is demonstrated that the proposal model is effective for the reliability-based safety assessment and residual carrying-capacity evaluation of steel-box pedestrian bridges. In addition, this study suggests an effective and practical field load test method for pedestrian bridges.

  • The application field of photovoltaic system has been increased widely. In the application of photovoltaic system, the utility interactive photovoltaic system(UIPVS) has benefits of not only the home energy saving in domestic system but also reduction of peak power which threaten the capacity of power plant equipment when the maximum power consumption is occurred in daytime. This paper represents the effect of the nonlinear AC load which connected to the UIPVS with parallel connection and introduces the active power filtering(APF) techniques to the UIPVS for the reactive power compensation. The enhancement of source side power quality using APF algorithm is verified using simulation.

  • This paper discusses a method for the determination of frequency control reserve requirement with consideration of the interaction between ex-ante planning and real-time balancing. In proposed method, we consider the fact that the delivered energy for tertiary control reserve is determined based on required capacity for secondary control reserve and the expected amount of load errors. Uncertain load errors are derived by Brownian motion, an optimization method is suggested using a stochastic programming. In a short, we propose an interactive dependent method for determining secondary control reserve requirement based on the principle that it satisfies to minimize the total cost. As a result, this paper provides will analyze for an example model to demonstrate the capabilities of the method.

  • 고도(高度)의 엔지니어링 구조물(構造物)로 경제성이 높은 경골(輕骨) 목조(木造) 트러스에 사용될 수 있는 소나무(Pinus densiflora) 재(材)에 적용한 20게이지 아연도금강(鋼) 플레이트 접합부(接合部)의 하중(荷重)-변위(變位) 특성(特性)을 평가하기 위하여 Foschi 모형을 사용하여 모형 모수(母數)를 산출하고 실험치와 계산치를 비교 분석하였다. 접합부(接合部)의 하중(荷重)-변위(變位) 곡선(曲線)은 비선형 특성을 나타내었다. 접합부의 하중성능 및 강성(剛性)은 플레이트 및 목리에 평행한 형태에서 최대치를 나타내었고, 플레이트에 직각이고 목리(木理)에 평행한 형태로부터 플레이트에 평행이고 목리에 직각인 형태순으로 감소하다 플레이트 및 목리에 직각인 형태에 최소치를 나타내었다. 3-모수(母數) 비선형 모형으로 예측된 스테인레스강(鋼) 및 아연도금강(鋼) 플레이트 접합부의 하중-변위 특성에 대한 계산치는 실험치와 잘 일치하였다.
