Use cases are commonly used to represent customer requirements during systems development. In a large software development environment, finding relevant use cases from a library of past or related projects is a complex, error-prone and expensive task. This study proposes an ontological methodology to support use case retrieval in an interactive manner. The architecture of a prototype system that implements this methodology is presented. To evaluate whether the proposed approach can provide satisfactory results to users, this study develops a research model and hypotheses based on interaction theory. These hypotheses are empirically tested using a laboratory experiment which controls information filtering and perceived interaction. Our study suggests that a system which interacts with a user intelligently reduces cognitive load and increases self-efficacy and satisfaction.

The main objective of this study is to analyse the information flows and representations which is shown at the displays of the user-OPACs interfaces in the 5 academic library automation systems. The findings made in the study are summarized as follows: 1) The interactive styles of that displays are based on the menu selection style. 2) The structures of information flow on that displays are the compound structure which is basically made of the network, the binary, and the pop-up structures. 3) The elements of the displays are consisted with the fields concerning the database name, the current working area, the indicator, the menu, the exit, the prompt and the system message. 4) The essential entries of the main menus are Book, Periodical. and Thesis. 5) The important languages of the command language styles are Search, Display, Print, Help, and End. 6) The elements of the display structures for the retrieval are the retrieving key, the Boolean operators, and the exit. 7) The major retrieving keys are Title, Author, Subject name, Call Number, and Publisher. 8) The marks of Boolean operators on the retrieval displays is different among the systems each other.

사례 기반 계획 시스템은 과거의 유사한 사례 계획들을 이용함으로써 새로운 문제를 위한 계획을 효율적으로 생성 할 수 있다. 하지만 대부분의 기존 사례 기반 계획 시스템들은 사례 검색 및 사례 일반화를 위한 제한적 기능들만을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 계획 생성과정에 사용자의 참여를 허용하지 않는다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 JCBP 시스템은 효율적인 메모리 사용과 사례 검색을 위해 각 도메인의 동일한 작업 목표를 가진 사례들을 개별 사례 베이스로 그룹화하고, 이들에 대한 색인을 유지한다. 또 이 시스템은 문제모델로부터 자동으로 추출한 휴리스틱 지식을 사례 적응 단계에 이용하며, 목표 회귀를 통한 사례 일반화 기능도 제공한다. 또한 JCBP 시스템은 대화형 모드를 통한 혼합 주도 계획 생성 기능도 제공한다. 이와 같이 JCBP 시스템은 문제 해결을 위해 사용자의 기호와 지식을 이용함으로써 사용자의 요구를 더 잘 만족하는 해 계획을 생성할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 계획 생성의 복잡도도 줄일 수 있다.

현재 네트워크 기술, 디지털 통신, 디지털 방송 기술의 진전으로 방대한 멀티미디어 정보가 인터넷 및 방송을 통하여 서비스가 제공되고 있으며, 이에 따라 멀티미디어 정보의 부호화 기술은 21세기의 주요 핵심기술로서 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 정보검색 기술, 정보추출 기술 발전 및 새로울 멀티미디어 서비스 프레임워크의 표준화의 진척으로 인해 방대한 멀티미디어 데이터로부터 필요한 정보를 얻는 것이 가능해지고 있으며, 또한 대화형 통신 및 멀티미디어 정보로부터 지식의 라이브러리 구축이 가능해짐으로써 고도의 휴먼 대화형 기술의 실현을 눈앞에 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG 관련 표준 기술, 기술개발현황 및 시장현황에 관해 다룬다.

Since two-way interactive broadcasting service began, remote controls have been fitted with 4 color buttons, which enables interaction and convenience to increase between users and content. Currently, diverse studies on IPTV are in progress. Particularly, as the mobile market rapidly grows, studies on mobile IPTV and on linkage with other media are constantly increasing. However, mobile IPTV has never been studied until now. In that sense, this present study attempted to design a mobile-based IPTV UI that could use a multi-dimensional search method based on consistent criteria for content search. As a result, the proposed IPTV UI is fitted with more usability and functionality for 4 color buttons. The UI designed in this study was compared to the IMDb Android Application, which uses GOMS-KLM. The results showed that the performance process was reduced by three stages, and that the performance time was reduced by more than 17.9%. Therefore, the conclusion can be reached that the proposed UI is effective for a fast search of contents.

기존의 웹 서비스는 않은 애플리케이션으로 개발되었고, 다양한 분야에서 잘 활용되어 왔다. 하지만, HTML을 기반 한 기존의 웹은 더 이상의 기능적 성장은 어렵게 되어 기존 웹 서비스의 성장에도 제악을 가져왔다. 이런 문제점을 극복하기 위해 시맨틱 웹이 대두되었다. 시맨틱 웹은 자원의 공유, 통합, 자동생성의 특징을 가진 기존 웹의 확장이다. 최근 기존의 웹 서비스는 시맨틱 웹의 이런 특성들을 받아들이려는 시도가 있었다. DAML-S가 대표적인 예이다. 본 논문은 기존 웹 서비스 검색처럼 일반 사용자도 편리하게 시맨틱 웹 서비스를 검색할 수 있도록 대화형 사용자 질의 인터페이스를 제시한다. 또, 사용자가 선택한 질의가 시맨틱 질의어(ROQL)로 자동 변환할 수 있는 시맨틱 질의어 자동 생성기 모듈을 제시한다.

기존의 비디오 검색 방법들은 관련 주석이나 영상 정보에 기반하며 사용자의 반응과 관련하여서는 많은 정보를 활용하고 있지 않다. 비디오 시청시 사용자의 뇌신호나 시선추적 정보 등의 인지적 반응을 이용하여 연속적인 비디오 스트림의 각 부분에 대하여 사용자들이 나타내는 관심이나 감성 정보를 추출한다면 보다 인터랙티브한 비디오 데이터 검색 및 추천이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 비디오를 시청하는 사용자의 안구전도(electrooculogram)를 기록한 후, 장면 전환이 발생한 부분에서의 사건관련전위 분석을 통해 해당 부분에서 나타나는 특징적 반응을 찾고 이에 대한 인지적 해석을 도출했다. 실험 결과 장면 전환 이후200~700ms 부분에서 P300 성분과 유사한 피크가 발생하는 것을 확인하였으며, 이러한 결과는 장면 전환에 따른 피험자의 비디오 내용 인지에 대한 의도 불일치 및 주의력 증가로 해석된다.

본 논문에서는 대화형 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 음악검색 시스템을 개발한다. 기존의 음악검색 시스템은 찾고자 하는 음악에 대한 정보를 필요로 하기 때문에 사용자가 시스템이 요구하는 정보를 가지고 있지 않는 경우 검색이 힘들다. 하지만 대화형 유전자 알고리즘을 통한 질의어 생성방식을 이용하면 사용자의 주관적 감정에 의한 음악검색을 할 수 있다. 먼저 사용자가 초기 유전자형에 의해 선택된 음악을 듣고 주관적인 평가를 내리면 이 평가값으로 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 질의어를 생성, 가장 가까운 음악을 검색하여 들려준다. 사용자는 이러한 과정을 반복하여 자신의 주관적 평가에 따라 진화되는 유전자형에 의해 원하는 음악을 점진적으로 검색한다. 이를 통해 사용자는 전문적인 음악적 지식이나 찾고자 하는 음악에 대한 특별한 정보없이 개인의 주관에 의한 검색을 할 수 있을 것이다.

We will introduce a new web-based knowledge management system in progress, in which XML-based web information extraction and our structuring knowledge technologies are combined using ontology-based natural language processing. Our aim is to provide efficient access to heterogeneous information on the web, enabling users to use a wide range of textual and non textual resources, such as newspapers and databases, effortlessly to accelerate knowledge acquisition from such knowledge sources. In order to achieve the efficient knowledge management, we propose at first an XML-based Web information extraction which contains a sophisticated control language to extract data from Web pages. With using standard XML Technologies in the system, our approach can make extracting information easy because of a) detaching rules from processing, b) restricting target for processing, c) Interactive operations for developing extracting rules. Then we propose a structuring knowledge system which includes, 1) automatic term recognition, 2) domain oriented automatic term clustering, 3) similarity-based document retrieval, 4) real-time document clustering, and 5) visualization. The system supports integrating different types of databases (textual and non textual) and retrieving different types of information simultaneously. Through further explanation to the specification and the implementation technique of the system, we will demonstrate how the system can accelerate knowledge acquisition on the Web even for novice users of the field.
