택시통행패턴에 따른 광주시 기능지역 분석 (Functional Areas of Kwang-ju City through Analysis of the Taxi-flow Pattern)

  • Amongst various analytic methods of internal structure of city, the factor analysis method which uses O-D matrix data has some merits and characteristics compared to other methods. 1) It is possible to find one certain interaction and flow pattern between traffic zones with in a city through reanalyzing O-D data which is too complex to grasp specific meaning or pattern of flow systems. 2) It can be easily visualized the traffic flow pattern by using adequate graphic techniques, and also can clarify the functional areas whose interaction linkages are significantly strong enough between each other. In this study, the taxi traffic O-D data between 42 traffic zones in Kwang-ju city was reanalyzied by varimax rotated factor analysis methods. As a result, four factors that have significant level factor loading (over 0.5 ) and factor score (over 1.0) were sorted out. so to speak four different functional areas were clarified in Kwang-ju city, of the West, the East, the south, and the North functional areas whose interaction linkages are significantly strong enough between each other. In the study, the taxi traffic O-D data between 42 traffic zones in Kwang-ju city was reanalyzied by varimax rotated factor analysis methods. As a result, four factors that have significant level factor loading (over 0.5) and factor score 9over 1.0) were sorted out. so to speak four different functional areas were clarified in Kwang-ju city, of the West, the East, the South, and the North functional area, then these four functional areas are almost coincided with citizen's general conception of community division and administrative district. Accordingly the factor analysis methods using traffic data seems to proved to be very accurate and useful analytic instruments for analyzing flow pattern and clarifying functional areas of city, and believed to provide basic informations and criteria for practical urban land use planning and transportation planning.

초등 과학영재 수업에서의 언어적 상호작용 사례 분석 (Case Analysis of Verbal Interaction of Science-Gifted Elementary Students in Their Science Classes)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등 과학영재 수업에서 나타나는 언어적 상호작용의 특징을 살펴보고 현장에서 언어적 상호작용 전략을 수립하는데 도움을 주고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 지역 교육지원청 영재교육원 수업 3곳의 총 27차시 수업에 참여하여 녹화하였으며, 전사 및 코딩의 과정을 거쳐 분석하였다. 분석에 사용된 분석틀은 Sinclair와 Coulthard(1975)의 이론에 근거한 정민수 등(2007)의 분석틀에서 교사 피드백 부분을 김영순(2010)의 분석틀로 일부 수정한 언어적 상호작용 분석틀이었다. 분석 후 분석결과 확인 및 언어적 상호작용에 대한 인식을 알아보고자 수업자와의 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 초등 과학영재 수업에서 가장 많이 나타난 IRF 패턴 유형은 관리적 질문-단답형 응답 유형이었다. 이러한 결과의 원인을 수업 외적인 측면으로 인식하고 있었다. 또한 수업 사례를 통해 과학영재의 창의적 사고를 이끌어 내는데 효과적인 몇 가지 패턴 유형을 확인하였는데, 이를 통하여 언어적 상호작용 전략은 막연히 개방적 질문, 지연적 피드백을 따로 구분하여 각각 좋다는 인식보다 학습 내용의 난이도 및 학생의 수준 등을 고려하여 상황에 적합한 패턴 전략으로 적용되어야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 교사 3명은 평소 초등 과학영재 수업에서의 언어적 상호작용 전략에 대하여 막연히 편안한 분위기, 개방적 질문과 지연적 피드백 정도로 인식하거나 전략이 아예 없는 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 초등과학영재 담당 교사들의 언어적 상호작용 전략에 대한 연수 등 다양한 전문성 향상 기회가 마련되어야할 것으로 사료된다.

Effect of Tactile Feedback for Button GUI on Mobile Touch Devices

  • This paper describes new tactile feedback patterns and the effect of their input performance for a button GUI activated by a tap gesture on mobile touch devices. Based on an analysis of touch interaction and informal user tests, several tactile feedback patterns were designed. Using these patterns, three user experiments were performed to investigate appropriate tactile feedback patterns and their input performance during interaction with a touch button. The results showed that a tactile pattern responding to each touch and release gesture with a rapid response time and short falling time provides the feeling of physically clicking a button. The suggested tactile feedback pattern has a significantly positive effect on the number of typing errors and typing task completion time compared to the performance when no feedback is provided.

실시간 비접촉 모바일 제어 기법 (Touchless User Interface for Real-Time Mobile Devices)

  • A touchless user interface system is proposed for real-time mobile devices in this work. The proposed system first recognizes the position of pattern to interact various applications based on the scene taken from mobile camera. Then, the proposed system traces the route of the pattern, which estimates the motion of pattern based on the mean-shift method. Based on this information, we control menu and keypad for the various applications. Differ from other user interface systems, the proposed system provides the new experience to even for the user of low-end mobile without additional hardware. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm provides better interaction performances than the conventional method, while achieving real-time user interacting for mobile devices.

1,3-bisdicyanovinylindane을 이용한 단백질 패터닝의 광학적 감지 (Optical detection of protein patterns using 1,3-bisdicyanovinylindane)

  • In this study, we have obtained the protein patterns using the membrane patterning of soft-lithography technique. The rapid detection of protein including bovine serum albumin (BSA) was resulted from the interaction with 1,3-bisdicyanovinylindane. For the proof of the interaction between BSA and dye, the UV-vis absorption spectra of BSA and dye were observed at 278 nm and 580 nm, respectively. As expected, the absorption spectrum of the interaction between BSA and dye was observed at 584nm. The absorption spectrum of the interaction was red-shifted. In addition, the optical images of the selectively reacted protein patterns showed the distinctive change of patterned color at different pH conditions. Because the dye has negative charges, the charge of BSA at different pH conditions could influence the interaction behavior between dye and BSA. Therefore, in the case of pH 7, the selectively patterned protein substrates obtained deep blue color pattern caused by electrostatic interaction between negative charges of the dye and positive charges of the BSA. However, in the case of pH 10, selectively patterned protein substrates obtained light blue color pattern because the electrostatic interaction was relatively lower than pH 7 due to the change of overall charge distribution of BSA.

색상대비 체크무늬의 배색, 톤, 간격에 따른 의복이미지 (The Clothing Image according to Coloration, Tone, and Interval of Checked Pattern in Color Contrast)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the clothing image according to coloration, tone, and interval of checked pattern in color contrast. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The stimuli were 24 color pictures, in which coloration(RB: Red+Blue, YP: Yellow+Purple), tone(light, dull, dark), and interval(0.5 cm, 1.5 cm, 3.5 cm, 5.5 cm) were manipulated. The 7-point scale was used for evaluation of clothing image. Data were obtained from 240 female college students living in Seoul, Gwangju, Jinju, and Masan on May 2010. For data analysis, ANOVA and Duncan-test were used by using SPSS program. Results of this study were as follows.; Clothing image according to coloration, tone, and interval of checked pattern consisted of five dimensions of attractiveness, freshness, appeal, modesty, and activity. Coloration showed an independent effect on attractiveness and appeal. Tone showed an independent effect on freshness, appeal, and modesty. Interval showed an independent effect on freshness. Also, interaction effects of coloration and tone on appeal were found. Interaction effects of coloration and interval on modesty were found.

지각자 성별, 체크무늬의 간격과 색상이 의복이미지에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Interval and Color of a Checked Pattern, and of the Perceiver's Gender, on Clothing Image)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceiver's gender, interval and color of checked pattern on clothing image. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The stimuli were 16 color pictures, in which the perceiver's gender, interval(0.5cm, 1.5cm, 3.5cm, 5.5cm), and color(red, yellow, blue, purple) were manipulated. The 7-point scale was used for evaluation of clothing image. Data were obtained from 192 male college students and 192 female college students living in Seoul, Gwangju, Jinju, and Masan on December 2009. For data analysis, ANOVA and Duncan-test were used by using SPSS program. Results of this study were as follows.; Clothing image according to interval and color of checked pattern consisted of five dimensions of attractiveness, appeal, warmness, modesty, and freshness. Perceiver's gender showed an independent effect on appeal, modesty, and freshness. Interval showed an independent effect on appeal, warmness, modesty, and freshness. Also, interaction effects of Perceiver's gender and interval on appeal and freshness were found. Interaction effects of Perceiver's gender and color on appeal were found.

일본 노인전문요양시설 치매노인의 공용공간 이용 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Use Pattern of the Elderly with Dementia In Common Space of Nursing Home in Japan)

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify the space use pattern and the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in the common space (dining room, day corner) of nursing home in Japan. The subjects were six units of the 2 nursing homes in Tokyo. For this, researcher visited from September 5 to December 5 and collected data by observations of behavior of the elderly with dementia in common space and interviews with staff for the information about basic characteristics of the elderly with dementia and administration and operation of the facilities. The data were analyzed using the frequency and percentage with SPSS 11 program and recorded in the form of behavior map. The results revealed as follows: first, 6 types (self-concentration type, physical environment-interest type, passive others-interest type, staffs-interaction type, other elderly-interaction type, visitors-interaction type) of the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in common space were founded. Second, the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in common space tended to focus on self-concentration type and physical environment-interest type. Third, physical environmental characteristics of common space affected space usage pattern of the elderly with dementia. And it was perceived like as living oriented space, social interaction space, facility space, staff oriented space. Conclusively it was suggested to plan dining space as semi-private space, day comer as semi-public space.

플레이어의 현실과 게임내의 교류패턴 (Transaction Pattern between Real Life and Games Centered on Players)

  • 타인과의 교류 능력은 사회생활의 핵심적인 요인이다. 하지만 현실에서는 교류가 제대로 이루어지 않아 의사소통의 어려움을 겪으면서도 게임이라는 인위적으로 만들어진 가상공간에서 가상의 캐릭터와 상호작용을 하는 사람들이 적지 않다. 이러한 의사소통의 부재 문제를 플레이어를 통해서 해결하려면 먼저 플레이어가 적극적으로 현실에서 교류를 할 수 있는 방안을 모색하던가, 또는 게임세계의 장점을 살려 게임 공간을 새로운 교류 장소로 만드는 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 플레이어가 현실과 게임세계에서 타인과의 교류에 어떤 특성을 가지고 있는지에 대한 연구가 선행되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현실과 가상공간에서 플레이어의 교류패턴을 제시시하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 수행하기 위해서 현장중심적인 접근 방법인 교류분석 도구인 자아상태 패턴을 나타내는 이고그램을 채택하여 연구를 수행하였다. 분설결과에 따르면 플레이어는 두 공간에서 교류패턴의 차이를 보였으며 그러한 차이의 해석을 위하야 요인분석을 적용하여 유의미적 관계를 해석하였다.
