통신 네트워크에서 상태 추정에 의한 군집병합의 원격제어 (Vehicle Platooning Remote Control via State Estimation in a Communication Network)

  • In this paper, a platoon merging is considered as a remote-controlled system with the state represented by a stochastic process. In this system, it becomes to encounter situations where a single decision maker controls a large number of subsystems, and observation and control signals are sent over a communication channel with finite capacity and significant transmission delays. Unlike classical estimation problem in which the observation is a continuous process corrupted by additive noise, there is a constraint that the observation must be coded and transmitted over a digital communication channel with finite capaci쇼. A recursive coder-estimator sequence is a state estimation scheme based on observations transmitted with finite communication capacity constraint. Using the coder-estimator sequence, the remote control station designs a feedback controller. In this paper, we introduce a stochastic model for the lead vehicle in a platoon of vehicles considering the angle between a road surface and a horizontal plane as a stochastic process. The simulation results show that the inter-vehicle distance and the deviation from the desired inter-vehicle distance are well regulated.

  • We're living in a world of one global village. The globalization of business is acceleration as more companies cross national borders to find customers, materials and money. Many foreign companies and organizations are doing their business aggressively in Korea and many Korean companies and rushing into foreign market. When people communicate for business with someone from another culture, there could be difficult communication barriers to overcome resulting from differences in their values, beliefs, norms for behavior, expectations, attitudes and so on. To do successfully business, we need to understand culture background and communication style that is different from nation, race, language. Communication barriers stemming from cultural differences may vary. Largely, they can be divided into value system, non-verbal communication, and perception process. Value system can be divided into individualism versus group orientation, avoidance of uncertainty degree, power distance, and high- context culture versus low-context culture. Also non-verbal communication method and perception process may play decisive roles in communication effectiveness. Especially nonverbal communication barriers which sometimes play more important roles than the verbal parts are composed of eye contact, gesture, kinesics, proxemics, chronemics, paralanguage and language of color Cross-cultural communication affect business situation. I expect that if we understand cultural background, and then we overcome cross-cultural communication barriers. To overcome and to adapt inter-cultural business, we need to develope curriculum on the cross-cultural education which I will study in the next paper.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 로봇이 자율주행을 하기 위해 사용되는 충돌회피 알고리즘을 실제 로봇과 똑같은 환경에 적용된 시뮬레이터를 통해 성능을 알아본다. 이동 로봇의 충돌회피를 위해 기존에 인공전위계 알고리즘과 Elastic force 알고리즘 등이 제안되어져있다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션을 통해 이 두 가지 방법에 의한 동작시간과 경로의 이동 길이를 비교하였다. 시뮬레이터는 IPC(Inter Process Communication)를 기반으로 개발되어졌으며, 알고리즘의 비교에는 차륜형 이동 로봇을 사용하였다.

  • A monitoring process of a communication network with two links is analyzed. The Markov process is introduced to compute busy and idle portions of monitoring processor and monitored rate of each link. Inter-idle times and inter-monitoring ties of monitoring processor between two links are respectively computed. A recursive formula is introduced to make the computational procedure rigorous.

위계적 총체성과 개방적 상호의사소통에 의한 환경캠프 프로그램 평가방법 (An Evaluation Method on the Environmental Camp Program: Hierarchical Holism and Open Inter-communication)

  • The goal of this study was to establish the evaluation method, which consist of the principle, factor, procedure and checklist, on environmental camp program and then to support staffs of environmental camp for decision-making to improve pre-program and develop new one. The main principles of the evaluation method established in this study were Hierarchical holism and Open inter-communication. First, hierarchical holism focused at the interaction among six factors, which were divided by 3 steps : 1) goal(and objectives) 2) learners and sites 3) activities, staffs and media. Second, open inter-communication could be defined a feedback process among all program participants : manager, staff, teacher, volunteer, learner and so on. The evaluation checklist had been developed of 10 comprehensive items and 30 factor-items at the preliminary step but some items were assessed some complex or duplicate in the result of 3 case studies. The suggested checklist was diminished to 5 comprehensive items and 25 factor-items. Several alternatives, which included specifing learners and objectives, developing site-oriented program and establishing the evaluation sheet were suggested for improving environmental camp program.

소셜협업도구를 활용한 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트가 여대생의 대인관계변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of SW Development Project with Social Collaboration tool on Inter-relationship Change of Women's University Students)

  • This paper deals with inter-relationship change of women's university students on the process of SW development project using social collaboration tool. Inter-relationship is one of the basic vocational competency in NCS(National Competency Standards) of Korea. We redesigned the curriculum of "Software Engineering" subject for this study and composed the project teams of students to develop software. The details of inter-relationship are satisfaction, communication, faith, friendliness, sensitivity, openness and consideration. From the result of this study, faith, openness and consideration have positive effect but satisfaction, communication, friendliness and sensitivity have no meaningful effect. The surveys were conducted in the beginning of semester and the same surveys were conducted again in the end of semester. The results were verified by paired t-test with SPSS 18.0. It is significant that the using of social collaboration tool for team project has positive effect on inter-relationship change, especially faith of women's university students. This study has some limitations for generalization but has meaning as new trial to enlarge the basic vocational competency of students in major subject, "Software Engineering". We expect new study for inter-relationship change of students to evaluate generality based on the proposed method in this paper.

  • 최근 복잡한 프로그래밍 환경에서 다수의 프로세스들은 서로 협력하기 위하여 서로 통신하고 자원과 정보를 공유한다. 커널에서는 이것이 가능한 방법으로 프로세스간 통신이라는 IPC(Inter-Process Communication)를 제공한다. 리눅스에서 사용되는 공유 메모리는 동일한 메모리 영역에 여러개의 프로세스가 접근할 수 있도록 해 주는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 코어에 서로 다른 운영체제를 갖는 듀얼코어 임베디드 리눅스 시스템에서 공유 메모리 성능 개선 방안을 제시하고, MP2530F(ARM926F+ARM946E)의 임베디드 리눅스 시스템을 구축하여 성능을 측정한다. 공유 메모리를 이용한 프로세스의 동작이 별개의 CPU에서 동작되도록 함으로써 성능 향상을 꾀한다.

  • 통신시스템 소프트웨어는 대단히 크고 복잡하기 때문에, 소프트웨어 재사용성, 하드에어 투명성, 응용에 따른 소프트웨어 재구축의 용이성과 고성능을 위한 컴포넌트 기반 구조를 요구하고 있다. 이런 요구사항을 만족시키기 위하여, 기존 CORBA IIOP의 성능과 통신방식에 대한 분석을 통해 통신시스템에 적합한 공유 메모리 기반의 CORBA 연동 프로토콜을 설계하였다. 설계된 프로토콜은 동일한 인터페이스를 지원하며 동일 시스템 환경에서의 메시지 전송 오버헤드를 최소화시킨다. 다른 프로토콜과의 비교시험 결과 새로운 프로토콜은 약15%-200%의 성능향상을 보여주고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에 제시된 프로토콜은 통신시스템을 위한 CORBA 기반의 컴포넌트 소프트웨어 개발을 위해 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근 분산컴퓨팅 시스템은 서로 이질적인 시스템간 상호 연동성 문제를 해결하기 위한 새로운 시스템 아키텍처를 제시하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 CORBA 연통 프로토콜의 성능 및 프로세스간 통신 기법의 분석을 통하여 통신 시스템용 소프트웨어에 적합한 공유 메모리 기반의 CORBA 연동 프로토콜 모델을 제시한다. 동일 호스트상에서 메시지 전달 오버헤드를 최소화하기 위해, 제안된 모델을 통신 시스템 개발에 표준화된 CORBA 메커니즘을 적용함으로써 목적 통신 시스템의 하드웨어 구조에 독립적이며 융통성 및 확장성 있는 소프트웨어 구조의 개발이 가능하고 소프트웨어의 생산성과 품질 및 재사용성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • In this paper, monitoring processor in a circuit switched network is considered. Monitoring processor monitors communication links, and offers a grade of service in each link to controller. Such an information is useful for an effective maintenance of system. Two links with nonsymmetric system Parameters are considered. each link is assumed independent M/M/1/1 type. The Markov process is introduced to compute busy and idle portions of monitoring processor and monitored rate of each link. Inter-idle times and inter-monitoring times of monitoring processor between two links are respectively computed. A recursive formula is introduced to make computational procedure rigorous.
