교정환자의 치과의료서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Satisfaction Level of Orthodontic Patients with Dental Service)

  • 본 연구는 교정환자를 대상으로 의료서비스에 대한 만족도를 조사하여 교정환자의 다양한 요구와 치과의료기관의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 정보를 제공하고자 2008년 12월 3일부터 20일까지 부산지역 Y치과의원, 대구지역 B치과의원의 교정내원환자 226명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 SPSSWIN 14.0을 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 치과의원을 선택한 이유로는 '주위의 소개'가 50.7%로 가장 많았으며, 전체의 절반정도인 47.8%가 불만사항이 있을 때 '이야기 하는 편이다'라고 응답하였다. 교정치료 후 기대하는 것은 '가지런한 치아배열' 58.3%로 가장 많았으며, 교정치료 후 치아건강에 대한 기대로는 80.9%가 많이 혹은 아주 많이 나아질 것으로 기대하고 있었다. 교정치료 후 가장 하고 싶은 치료로는 미백이 70.6%로 가장 많았다. 2. 진료서비스 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미친 요인으로는 직원(치과위생사) 만족도가 가장 크고, 편의시설 만족도, 진료비 만족도, 치과의사 만족도, 친절성 만족도 순이었다. 3. 다른 사람에 대한 권유의사에 영향을 미친 요인으로는 진료비 만족도가 가장 크고, 치과의사 만족도, 직원(치과위생사) 만족도 순이었다. 교정환자가 원하는 치과의료서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 치과의료진의 지속적인 치과진료서비스 교육과 친절교육이 이루어져 교정환자의 요구도를 만족시켜야 할 것으로 사료된다.

질의 응답 시스템에서 지식 설명의 의미적 포함 관계를 고려한 의미적 퍼지 함의 연산자 (Semantic Fuzzy Implication Operator for Semantic Implication Relationship of Knowledge Descriptions in Question Answering System)

  • 질의 응답 시스템은 사용자의 질의에 대해 다른 사용자의 응답을 저장하고 보여 주는 시스템이다. 사용자의 질의를 만족시키는 응답을 정확히 검색하고자 노력하는 많은 연구들이 있었지만 이에는 근본적인 한계가 있었다. 따라서 질의 응답 시스템에서는 보조적인 방법으로 사용자의 질의를 만족시킬 가능성이 높은 다른 질의를 추천하는 방법이 사용되고 있다. 이전 연구에서 내용적으로 포함하는 정도가 큰 질의들을 하위 질의로서 추천하는 내용 기반 추천 방법으로서 퍼지 관계 곱 연산자(fuzzy relational product operator)를 사용하는 방법이 제안되었고, 기본적인 함의 연산자로서 Kleene-Dienes 연산자가 사용되었다. 하지만 Kleene-Dienes 연산자는 설명의 의미적 포함관계를 고려한 방법이 아니기 때문에 질의응답의 의미적 포함 정도를 계산하기에 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 두 질의에 대한 설명의 의미적 포함관계를 고려한 새로운 함의 연산자를 제안한다. 새로운 연산자는 어떤 질의 및 응답 들이 다른 질의와 그 응답들에 의미적으로 포함되는 정도를 계산하도록 설계되었다. 실험을 통하여 새로운 함의 연산자를 적용한 퍼지 관계곱 연산자를 사용하면 사용자가 원하는 지식을 추천할 가능성이 높아짐을 보였다.

한 대학병원 부속 건강검진센터 이용자의 만족도와 재이용 의사에 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Satisfaction and Revisit Intension of Health Promotion Center In A University Hospital)

  • The purpose of this study was to serve as a basis for providing quality medical service and mapping out consumer-centered marketing strategies to successfully cope with the rapidly changing medical environment and meet consumer needs, by examining what affected the satisfaction and revisit of health Promotion center Client. The subjects in this study were 186 of visitor to health Promotion center in a university hospital in the city of Busan. A survey was conducted with structured questionnaire from March 2 to 30, 2001. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS for Windows (ver10.0). For more statistical analysis, frequency analysis, component analysis, t-test, ANOVA and correlation analysis procedures were utilized. Results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1. Regarding demographic characteristics, 51.6% of the Client investigated were male, and 48.4% were female. The greatest number of them were in their 40s(38.9%). 86.5% were married, and 34.2% were self-employed. 44% were a high-school graduate, and the monthly mean income of 59.4% was one to three million Won. And, the residential area of 46.8%, the largest percentage, was a half-an-hour distance from health Promotion center. 2. The most common motivation of their selection of the health Promotion center was a recommendation by Staff and neighborhood(59.7%), followed by excellent facilities and services(17.2%), the tradition and reputation of the hospital(7.5%), and its publicity pamphlets(7.5%). 3. 45.9%, the largest percentage, acquired health-related information from their friends or acquaintances. 43.8%, the greatest percentage, visited there because they felt there's something wrong with their body. 53.4% worried about the possibility of being attacked by cancer, and 57.5% wanted to take a precise cancer examination. For health maintenance, 50.1% got regular exercise. Regular exercise was considered most crucial for health maintenance or promotion. 4. The largest reason they used that examination center again was the kindness of employees(52.7%), followed by the tradition and reputation of the hospital(21%) and excellent examination setting and equipment(10.8%). 5. By demographic factor, there was no significant difference between the man and women in satisfaction level with examination and expenses. The women expressed more satisfaction at facilities, and the high-school graduate group were more contented with expenses. 6. As a result of investigating their satisfaction level according to the motivation of selecting that examination center, the group that chose the center due to excellent facilities and services were more satisfied with examination and expenses. 7. As for the relationship of total examination satisfaction to revisit. intention, there was a higher correlational relationship between total health examination satisfaction and expense satisfaction. Especially, the more they were satisfied with examination, the more they were willing to revisit there for another examination.

웹 기반 가격할인 수준과 희소성이 영향을 주는 지각된 제품 가치와 태도 변화 (Perceived Product Value and Attitude Change Affecting Web-based Price Discount Level and Scarcity)

  • Purpose Product characteristics and price value in website have strongly effects on customer satisfaction. Especially, in the online shopping site, the scarcity limits the customer's opportunity to purchase the product. Thus scarcity has been proposed as a important factor that makes the customer highly aware of the merchantability of the product. The scarcity in the web store is used as an important variable to make purchasing decisions of users easier by psychological pressure. In the case of scarce products with price discounts in online commerce, advertising formats that highlight scarcity value in the web commerce market are very effective in enhancing purchase intentions of consumers. Unlike offline stores, the importance of scarcity becomes more important when reflecting the characteristics of online commerce. Therefore, this study intends to confirm the influence of the degree of price discounts and scarcity information presented by Web sites on consumer purchase behavior in Web purchase behavior. Design/methodology/approach This study conducted a web-based experimental study on price sensitivity and price discount. Therefore, we created experimental web-sites that offer two stimuli according to the discount rate. The 200 respondents were randomly assigned. The stimuli were fictitious based on tourism products. The first stimulus presented the price discount(15% discount) with basic explanation about the package of the tourist package. The stimuli assigned to the second group were used for groups with high price discount intensity(65% discount). In this way, the two stimuli clearly distinguished the level of price discount intensity. This paper conducted t-test analysis and structural equation to analyze the experiemental results after confirming the reliability and validity. Findings The results of this study are as follows. The difference in price discount intensity (15% vs 65%) with scarcity showed the mean difference among all the variables. Therefore, this study concluded that there is a significant difference between the price discount of 15% and 65% for the acquisition value and transaction value of users. In particular, consumers' purchase intention is greater and product recommendation intensity is stronger when the price discount is 65%. As a result, the high degree of the price discount intensity with scarcity exerts a greater influence on consumers' purchase intentions. Product scarcity also have a significant impact on perceived value of users. Therefore, purchase intention of customers increases when perceived value increases their profit and pleasure feeling.

이용자의 혁신저항이 모바일 건강 앱 이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Innovation Resistance of Users on Intention to Use Mobile Health Applications)

  • 본 연구는 건강관리에 대한 인식이 높아지면서 많은 양의 건강 앱이 생산되고 있지만 이에 대한 이용 수준이 낮은 원인을 파악하고자 하였다. 즉, 이용자가 지닌 혁신저항(사용 장벽 정도, 가치 장벽 정도, 위험 장벽 정도, 전통 장벽 정도, 이미지 장벽 정도)이 건강 앱 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 위해 대학생들을 대상으로 설문을 진행하여 378개의 유효한 응답을 얻었다. 연구 결과, 이용자의 이미지장벽 정도가 높을수록 건강 앱에 대한 혁신저항 정도가 높아지며, 혁신저항 정도가 높을수록 지속적 이용의도 정도와 추천의지 정도가 낮게 나타났다. 또한, 사용장벽 정도, 가치장벽 정도 그리고 전통장벽 정도는 혁신저항 정도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 건강 앱의 이용행태를 혁신저항이론으로 설명함으로써 신기술의 수용 및 지속적 사용에 대한 학문적 논의를 심화시켰다. 연구 결과는 건강 앱의 수용 및 지속적 이용을 위해서는 사용장벽, 가치장벽 그리고 전통장벽보다는 이미지장벽을 낮추는 것이 효과적일 것이라는 실질적 함의를 제공한다.

건강검진 수검자의 의료기관내 검진센터 선택요인과 만족도 (Determination Factors and Satisfaction of Health Screening Center by Health Examination at Hospital)

  • 본 연구는 의료기관 내 검진센터의 선택요인, 만족도, 재이용의사를 파악하여 이용자의 선호도를 이해하고 검진센터 이용자의 지속적인 검진센터 유도방안을 모색하기 위하여 2013년 2월 22일부터 2013년 4월 5일 까지 부산시 의료기관 내 검진센터를 운영하고 있는 10개소를 선정하여 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 검진센터를 방문한 수검자들을 대상으로 하여 892부의 설문지를 이용하여 빈도, 비율, 평균의 차이분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 연구대상자들의 인구사회학적 특성은 여성, 50대 연령, 대졸 이상의 학력, 사무 전문직, 월평균 소득 200만원 미만, 직장인 일반 신검자, 신검센터의 방문이 처음이 아닌 사람, 질병이 없고, 건강하다고 생각하는 사람에서 높은 분포를 보였다. 검진센터 선택요인은 접근성, 직장과의 제휴, 주변권유 순의 결과를 보였다. 검진센터에 대한 만족도는 접근성(3.59), 검진내용(3.59), 브랜드인지도(3.58)시설 환경(3.50), 비용경제성(3.40) 순의 결과를 보였다. 질병이 없는 40~50대 연령층에서 검진센터를 재방문 할 의향이 높게 나타났다. 그러므로 이들 집단에 대한 적극적인 관리방안의 모색이 필요하다. 그리고 검진센터의 검진 종류 및 검진 항목을 다양화하여 이용자의 특성에 적합한 건강 검진이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

정부의 전통시장 지원 정책 효과에 대한 실증연구 (The Policy Effects on Traditional Retail Markets Supported by the Korean Government)

  • Purpose - A traditional retail market is a place that offers economic opportunity to employees and employers alike it also is a place where the community can meet. The Korean government has invested three trillion won to improve physical and non-physical aspects in traditional retail markets since 2004. However, little research on this has been conducted. We explore this research gap that could lead to theory extension. We analyze consumption behavior with respect to traditional retail markets through an empirical analysis, thus overcoming limits in previous research. We empirically analyze policy effects of traditional retail market projects supported by the Korean government. Research design, data, and methodology - We propose a traditional retail market improvement plan via the relation between cause and effect resulting from the analysis. More specifically, logit analysis was carried out with 1,754 consumers in 16 cities nationwide. In order to analyze consumer consumption behaviors nationwide, the probability was analyzed using a logit model. This research analyzes the link between support and non-support by the Korean government using binary values. The dependent variable is whether Korean government support is implemented; the binomial logistic regression is used as the statistical estimation technique. The object variables are:1 (support) or 0 (nonsupport), and the prediction value is between 1 and 0. As a result of the factor analysis of questions related to attributes of service quality, four factors were extracted: convenience, product, facilities, and service. Results - The results indicate that convenience, product, and facilities have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction in accordance with the government's traditional retail market support. Additionally, the results reveal that convenience, product, facilities, and service all have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction in a traditional retail market's service quality and consumer satisfaction. Finally, the analysis indicates that the highly satisfied traditional retail market customer has a significant influence on revisit intention. Moreover, the results reveal that the highly satisfied traditional retail market customer has a significant influence on recommendation intention. Conclusions - This research focused on consumers nationwide to measure policy effects of traditional retail markets compared to previous research that focused on one traditional retail market or a specific area. We verified the relationship of service quality and customer satisfaction and consumer behavior based on service quality theory. The results indicate that consumer satisfaction of traditional retail markets supported by service quality factors has a significant impact. In a concrete form, the results indicate that these effects are from facility modernization projects and marketing support projects of the Korean government. The results also imply that these facility and management support effects from the Korean government have been consistent. We realize that the Korean government has to selectively support traditional retail markets in major cities and small and medium-sized cities. To that end, the Korean government needs to select a concentration strategy for the revitalization of traditional retail markets.

당뇨병 환자의 건강기능식품에 대한 이용 실태 및 주관적인 인식에 관한 조사 (A Study on Status and Subjective Recognition of Functional Foods Among Diabetic Patients)

  • In Korea, there are many kinds of functional foods to manage diabetes, however, they have not been evaluated or investigated systematically. The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of recognition and intake of functional foods among diabetic patients. The study subjects were 307 patients(male 135, female 172), who diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at Seoul National University of Bundang Hospital. Questionnaire survey was done from July to October, 2004 for the characteristics of patients and factors related to the use of functional foods. The mean age of the subjects was 64$\pm$10.2 years, and the mean duration of disease was 9.5$\pm$8.90 years. Approximately 49.8% of the subjects had experience to use functional foods at least once in past. Total number of functional foods used were 56 types. Red ginseng was used most frequently(27.9%), then followed by Silkworm powder(13.6%), Vitamin supplements(10.4%), Mulberry tree(7.1%), Cordyceps sinensis(6.8%) and Ginseng(4.2%). Functional foods were introduced by their friends.relatives(38.4%), family(29.1%), internet(13.9%), and the mass media(10.6%). Among respondents, 94.7% took functional foods with conventional diet therapies(diet, exercise and medication). The purpose of functional food use was to control blood glucose level(49.0%), to relieve fatigue and improve stamina(19.9%), to treat and prevent a disease(17.2%) and to help blood circulation(7.9%). Upon the question of further recommendation of functional foods to others, 74.8% of the subjects answered negative response. However, 12.6% of the subjects showed the further intention of using new product. Therefore, to guide the appropriate use of functional foods for diabetic patients, diabetic educator should provide the knowledge of the efficacy of functional foods and the desirable guidelines.

의료 지속성에 대한 일반인들의 태도 및 관련요인 - 사무직 직원들을 대상으로 - (A Study on the general population's attitude and related factor on the continuity of medical care)

  • This study is aimed to assess the general population's attitude toward the continuity of medical care and its related factors. Self administered questionnaire was performed on the 1,120 office workers in the C city, Gang-won province. The questionnaire included the attitude of the continuity of medical institute, the intention of medical service use on a given case, and the variables of the related factors. 58.8% of the total respondents agreed to sustaining treatment without changing medical institutes; on the other hand, 41.2% showed negative attitude. In case that a patient would gain a recommendation of a surgery, hospitalization, or a specific examination, the total respondents' 84.9%, 61.8%, and 50.8% of each recommended situation said that they would visit another doctor and gain a diagnosis. As a result of multiple logistic analysis of determinant factor on continuity, reliability of doctors was statistically significant factor. In order to reduce wastefully used medical resources and offer well-qualified medical service, a system of second opinion among peer group or beforehand agreement could be possibly adopted. In addition, improving the image and reliability of a doctor could be an important factor to make better the behavior of medical service shopping; therefore, an effort to improve the relationship between a doctor and a patient, and restore the reliability of doctors should be paralleled.

Evaluation of Physicians' Perception of Patient Safety Incidents Including Disclosure Utilizing Hypothetical Clinical Vignettes

  • Purpose:We investigated physicians' responses to a series of clinical vignettes consisting of patient safety incidents, with and without disclosure of patient safety incidents (DPSI). Methods: An anonymous survey was conducted to investigate physicians' responses to the DPSI via online communities of physicians, and additional participants were recruited using a snowballing sampling method. We evaluated physicians' responses to the DPSI using eight hypothetical scenarios (HS) from the following perspectives: thoughts regarding medical errors, revisiting the physician, recommendation, lawsuit, criminal prosecution, trust score, and compensation amounts. We used the chi-square test to evaluate the overall differences in response rates among the scenarios. Statistical analyses were performed using the Student's t-test to compare the trust scores and compensation amounts. Results: A total of 910 physicians participated in this survey. An overall comparison of trust scores among HS showed that HS 1 (unclear medical errors, minor harm, and DPSI) had the highest trust score. In contrast, in the opposite scenario, HS 8 (clear medical errors, major harm, and DPSI not conducted) received the lowest scores. Cases with minor harm to patients (HS 1, 2, 5, and 6) showed lower compensation amounts than the others (HS 3, 4, 7, and 8). Physicians were more likely to think of situations with DPSI as not having medical errors (53.1% vs. 55.2%). In addition, the scenarios with DPSI were evaluated favorably in terms of intention to revisit, recommend, suit, and engage in criminal proceedings. Physicians showed higher trust scores (6.2 vs 5.4) and gave lower compensation amounts ($27.7 million vs $28.1 million), although there was no significant difference in terms of compensation amounts to the physician conducting DPSI. Conclusion: Our study showed overall positive perceptions regarding DPSI among Korean physicians.
