  • Intelligent Wearable Module is intelligent system that arises when a human is part of the feedback loop of a computational process like a certain control system. Applied system is mobile robot. This paper represents the mobile robot control system remote controlled by Intelligent Wearable Module. So far, owing to the development of 802.l1b technologies, lots of remote control methods through internet have been proposed. To control a mobile robot through internet and guide it under unknown environment. The information about the direction and velocity of the mobile robot feedbacks to the PDA and the PDA send new control method produced from the combination of Neuro and Hierarchical Fuzzy Algorithm

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the transition on architectural data such as valid indoor length, module, ratio of core, floor height, ceiling height and the type of structured cabling system according to the intelligent building grade through case study of the intelligent office buildings constructed in Korea since 1980. The results of this study were as follows. The average floor height was 3.80m, and it was higher in proportion to the IB grade. The average ceiling height was 2.57m, and it didn't have connection with the IB grade. The module of high frequency in application was $3.0{\times}3.0m$, and it showed 25% in the application frequency. The average valid indoor length was 12.27m. The average ratio of core was 24.49%. The type of high frequency in application for the structured cabling was Access Floor Type, and it showed 31% in the application frequency.

  • 본 실시간 지능형 홈 네트워크 제어시스템은 여러 모바일 기기를 이용하여 통신이 가능한 곳이면 언제 어디서든지 실시간으로 시스템 제어와 모니터링이 가능한 시스템이다. 본 논문은 실시간 지능형 홈 네트워크 제어시스템을 구현하기 위하여 무선 홈 네트워크 기술 중 ZigBee 기술을 이용하여 각종 USN 센서를 제어하는 서버 모듈 구현과 모바일 기기에 탑재되어 사용자에 의해 구동되는 클라이언트 모듈을 GUI환경으로 구성하여 설계 및 구현하였다.

An Intelligent Search Modeling using Avatar Agent

  • This paper proposes an intelligent search modeling using avatar agent. This system consists of some modules such as agent interface, agent management, preprocessor, interface machine. Core-Symbol Database and Spell Checker are related to the preprocessor module and Interface Machine is connected with Best Aggregate Designer. Our avatar agent system does the indexing work that converts user's natural language type sentence to the proper words that is suitable for the specific branch information retrieval. Indexing is one of the preprocessing steps that make it possible to guarantee the specialty of user's input and increases the reliability of the result. It references a database that consists of synonym and specific branch dictionary. The resulting symbol after indexing is used for draft search by the internet search engine. The retrieval page position and link information are stored in the database. We experimented our system with the stock market keyword SAMSUNG_SDI, IBM, and SONY and compared the result with that of Altavista and Google search engine. It showed quite excellent results.

3D Ground Terrain Processing Platform for Automated Excavation System

  • Efficient management of the construction heavy equipment is required to reduce the rate of carbon emissions and on-site accidents. The intelligent excavation system (IES) will improve the construction quality and productivity through information technologies and efficient equipment operation, especially in large earthwork projects. Three-dimensional digitized ground data should be required for identifying the path of heavy equipment and work-site environment. Rapid development of terrain laser scanners (TLS) is more readily to acquire the digital data. This study suggests the '3D ground terrain processing platform (3DGTPP)' including data manipulating module and analyzing module of the scanned data for intelligent earthmoving equipment operation. The processing platform consists of six modules, including scanning, registering, manipulating, analyzing, transmitting, and storing. 3D ground terrain processing platform presented in this study will provide fundamental information for intelligent excavation system (IES), which will increase the efficiency of earthworks and safety of workers in significant.

  • Three optical fuzzy calculating modules, MAX/MIN, NOT/THROUGH, and SUP/THROUGH operating modules, are proposed. The MAX/MIN operating on inputted 2 membership functions. The NOT/THROUGH operating module calculates the complement of the membership function. The SUP/THROUGH operating module outputs an image representing the supremum (least upper bound) of the membership function. The THROUGH operation passes the image of the inputted membership function from the entrance to the exit. This paper demonstrates that these modules can output the image into which the modules transform inputted images on the basis of operation on fuzzy logic.

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 도로교통 제어기에 대하여 논한다. 제어기는 Main CPU module, Field I/O module, Display module, communication module, Mother board module로 구성되었다. 각 모듈은 하드웨어의 특성에 따라 분리되어 설계되었고, mother board를 통하여 module 간 데이터를 교환한다 Main CPU module은 입력된 교통 데이터의 처리, Field I/O module은 외부로의 데이터 입출력, Display module은 제어기와 사용자와의 인터페이스, communication module은 제어기의 debugging을 담당한다. 본 논문에서는 하드웨어를 Module화함으로써 필요한 하드웨어의 장/탈착이 용이하고, 제어기를 범용으로 사용할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

지능형 보안 시스템을 위한 다중 물체 탐지 및 추적 알고리즘 (Multiple Moving Objects Detection and Tracking Algorithm for Intelligent Surveillance System)

  • 본 논문에서는 감시 시스템에서 다중 물체를 감지하고 추적하기 위한 빠르고 강인한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 감지 모듈과 추적 모듈, 2개의 모듈로 구성된다. 이동 물체의 감지 모듈에서는 우리는 영상 이진화 기법과 프레임별 영상을 이용하여 움직이는 물체를 추출하고, 모폴로지 기법을 이용하여 각종 노이즈를 제거한다. 또한, 블록 기반 히스토그램기법을 사용하여 인간과 다른 물체를 구분하는 방법을 제안한다. 이동 물체의 추적 모듈에서는 색상 기반 추적 알고리즘과 칼만 필터가 이용된다. 먼저 RGB 영상을 HSV 영상으로 변환한 후, 다중 물체를 추적하기위해 색상 기반 추적 알고리즘을 사용한다. 이때 다른 물체와의 충돌시 물체를 추적하기 위해 칼만 필터를 사용한다. 마지막으로, 제안된 방법을 몇 가지 실험을 통해 그 효용성 및 응용 가능성을 보인다.
