Management systems for electronic library have been developed on the basis of Client/Server or ASP framework in domestic market for a long time. Therefore, both service provider and user suffer from their high cost and effort in management, maintenance, and repairing of software as well as hardware. Recently in addition, mobile devices like smartphone and tablet PC are frequently used as terminal devices to access computers through the Internet or other networks, sophisticatedly customized or personalized interface for n-screen service became more important issue these days. In this paper, we propose a new scheme of integrated management system for electronic library based on SaaS and Web Standard. We design and implement the proposed scheme applying Electronic Cabinet Guidelines for Web Standard and Universal Code System. Hosted application management style and software on demand style service models based on SaaS are basically applied to develop the management system. Moreover, a newly improved concept of duplication check algorithm in a hierarchical evaluation process is presented and a personalized interface based on web standard is applied to implement the system. Algorithms of duplication check for journal, volume/number, and paper are hierarchically presented with their logic flows. Total framework of our development obeys the standard feature of Electronic Cabinet Guidelines offered by Korea government so that we can accomplish standard of application software, quality improvement of total software, and reusability extension. Scope of our development includes core services of library automation system such as acquisition, list-up, loan-and-return, and their related services. We focus on interoperation compatibility between elementary sub-systems throughout complex network and structural features. Reanalyzing and standardizing each part of the system under the concept on the cloud of service, we construct an integrated development environment for generating, test, operation, and maintenance. Finally, performance analyses are performed about resource usability of server, memory amount used, and response time of server etc. As a result of measurements fulfilled over 5 times at different test points and using different data, the average response time is about 62.9 seconds for 100 clients, which takes about 0.629 seconds per client on the average. We can expect this result makes it possible to operate the system in real-time level proof. Resource usability and memory occupation are also good and moderate comparing to the conventional systems. As total verification tests, we present a simple proof to obey Electronic Cabinet Guidelines and a record of TTA authentication test for topics about SaaS maturity, performance, and application program features.

인터넷은 우리에게 많은 정보를 제공해 주는 중요한 수단이 되었다. 그리고 정보 제공을 위해 인터넷의 서버 시스템들은 대용량의 정보를 처리하여 다양한 서비스를 제공함과 동시에 이들의 네트워크 구조는 더욱 더 복잡해지고 있다. 따라서 서버 시스템들에 대한 신속하고 지속적인 관리가 중요시 되고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 서버 시스템들은 방화벽 내부에 위치하여 제한된 접근만을 허용하며 또한 각 서버 시스템들의 서로 다른 운영체제와 서로 다른 관리 방법으로 인해 효율적인 서버 시스템 관리가 이루어지고 있지 않다. 즉 서버 관리자들은 제한된 공간에서 로컬 또는 소켓 기반의 단일 접속 애플리케이션을 이용하여 다양한 형태의 서버들을 직접 관리해야만 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 CORBA, Java RMI, DCOM등의 분산 객체 기술을 가지면서 플랫폼이나 개발언어에 제약을 받지 않는 XML(extensible Markup Language) 기반의 웹서비스 기술(Web Services Architecture)을 이용하여 다수의 서버 시스템들을 통합적으로 관리 할 수 있는 미들웨어 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 시스템은 위치 투명성 및 단말기 독립성을 제공하며 서버 시스템 관리 명령을 호출하여 시스템 관리가 가능하다.

This paper presents a new architecture, called "Power Electronics Remote Wiring and Measurement Laboratory (PermLAB)", that translates a common gateway interface (CGI) string from a remote web user to a web server connected to a 3-dimension switching matrix board, can be used to switch on and off, and to control a cluster of instruments and components. PermLAB addresses real-time connection, switching, and data acquisition over the Internet instead of using simulated data. A software procedure uses a signature system to identify each instrument and component in a complex system. The Web-server application is developed in HTML, JavaScript and Java, and in C language for the CGI interface, which resides in a controller portion of LabVIEW. The LabVIEW software fully integrates the Web sever, LabVIEW data acquisition boards and controllers, and the 3-dimensional switching matrix board. The paper will analyze a half-wave rectifier (AC - DC converter) circuit connected over the Internet using the PermLAB. PermLAB allows students to obtain real data by real-time wiring of real circuits in the laboratory using a "virtual breadboard" on the Web. The software for the Web-based 3-dimensional system is flexible, portable, can be integrated into many laboratory applications or expanded, and easily accessible worldwide.

This paper describes the architecture and development of real-time monitoring system for ILRT (Integrated Leakage Rate Test). Object Oriented approach is used during the analysis and design. The architecture can be spited into two modules. First one is the Interface module, which, takes care of the communication between the server and the clients, and the second module is the Graphical User Interface (GUI) module, which takes care of the GUI in the web browser of the client. The technologies used includes Java, Java Bean and Java Applet. Etc.

인터넷과 모바일 서비스는 요즘 들어 많이 사용되고 있는 서비스로써, 휴대폰을 이용한 모바일 서비스와 기존의 인터넷을 합쳐서 기존의 Web을 이용한 Internet 서비스 제공에서 벗이나 Web 뿐만 아니라 휴대폰, PDA, Phone(ARS) 등을 이용한 Multi Internet 서비스를 제공한다. 모바일과 인터넷에 제공할 정보를 하나의 데이터베이스에 통합하여 각각의 스크립 언어(Internet : ASP-Active Server Pages, Mobile : WML-Wireless Markup Language)를 이용하여 서비스를 제공하는 방식을 구현했다. 그래서 인터넷과 모바일 등 여러 가지 방법을 통해 필요한 정보를 검색 할 수 있게 됨으로서 사용자들은 자신이 원하는 방법을 이용하여 언제든지 장소에 구애받지 않고 원하는 자료를 검색할 수 있다.

The e-catalog system consists of e-catalog database. e-catalog manager. and a web server, and provides e-catalog web service by displaying e-catalog documents that contain web 3D images. product specifications and manuals. Various web contents such as the 3D images of products, which offer basic viewpoints/movement handles and function simulations, product specifications, product manuals and product features, can be integrated into e-catalog documents in XML format through image manipulation and database connection by using the e-catalog manager tool. By reducing time and cost for publication and management of an e-catalog web service, the competitiveness of companies is expected to be intensified in the perspective of e-business activities.

하드웨어와 소프트웨어로 구성된 시스템을 동시협조 설계하는 새로운 설계 패러다임인 HW/SW 통합설계를 지원하는 설계 도구가 많이 개발되고 있다. 기존의 HW/SW 통합설계 도구는 빠른 기술 변화, 제한된 플랫폼, 표준화되지 않은 시스템기술, 일관적이지 못한 사용자 인터페이스, 개발 대상의 다양성, 지원 기능의 차이 등으로 인해 일반화되지 못하고 있다 본 논문에서는 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 웹에 기반 한 개방형 분산 HW/SW 통합설계 환경을 제안한다. 제안한 HW/SW 통합설계 환경은 객체에 기반 한 3층 클라이언트/서버 구조를 가지며, 특정 벤더에 구애받지 않는 개방성을 지닌다. 또한 세션 서비스를 이용한 협동 작업 환경을 지원하며, OOUI를 채택해 사용자 인터페이스를 크게 변경하지 않고 새로운 기능을 쉽게 추가할 수 있다. 제안한 환경은 효율적이고 안전한 설계 데이터의 전송을 보장하기 위해 트랜잭션 서버와 보안 서비스를 포함한다. 제안한 환경의 타당성을 입증하기 위 해 웹에 기반 한 개방형 분산 HW/SW 통합설계 환경의 프로토 타입인 WebCEDA를 개발하였다. 제안한 환경은 일반적인 CAD도구의 웹-기반 환경의 모델로 활용될 수 있다.

Internet telephony provides voice communication services with added flexibility for multimedia extension at a lower cost compared to traditional telephone systems. We implemented an internet telephony system as an overlay network without a centralized server, using a distributed hash table (DHT). Compared to the current server-based internet telephony system, our system is fault-tolerant, scalable, and can be flexible extended to various services and advanced to integrated service. To demonstrate the high flexibility of our DHT-based internet telephony system, we made our system cooperate with web servers. Web users can check up others' online stales and establish voice communication sessions to online users at a mouse click. This technology can be applied to more complex services such as multimedia messaging or video conference service.

기존의 통합 시스템은 이미 구축된 자원을 재활용하여 데이터의 구축 비용을 줄이고자 하는 의도에서 시작되었다. 최근 웹의 확산으로 인하여 웹 기반 분산 환경에서 공간 데이터의 제공을 위한 통합 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 XLinking을 기반으로 웹 환경에서 공간 데이터의 통합을 제공하는 시스템을 설계한다. 이는 기존 통합 시스템이 가지는 응용의 복잡성과 긴 사용자 응답 시간이라는 문제점을 해결 가능할 뿐만 아니라 표준 기술을 지원하여 상호 운용을 달성한다. 이 논몬에서는 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)의 웹 매핑 표준 기술인 WMT(Web Mapping Testbed)의 중첩 맵서버(Cascading MapServer)와 GML(Geography Markup Language)을 사용하여 통합 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다.

인터넷 사용자의 수가 폭발적으로 늘어나고 엘 컨텐츠의 양이 많아지면서 웹서버의 부하를 줄이면서 사용자에게 보다 빠르게 웹서비스를 제공하는 것이 중요한 문제가 되었다. 웹캐시 시스템은 사용자와 웹서버 사이에 위치하여 웹서버의 부하를 줄여주고 사용자의 서비스 응답시간을 줄여주기 위한 효과적인 방법으로 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소스가 공개되어 있는 스퀴드 웹캐시 시스템을 이용하여 데이터 압축기능을 가진 웹캐시 시스템을 개발하였다. 압축기능을 가진 웹캐시 시스템은 웹캐시 시스템과 사용자 사이의 데이터론 압축하여 전송함으로써 네트워크의 트래픽을 줄여주고 사용자의 웹서비스 응답시간을 줄여주는 효과가 있다. 특히 리버스 캐시 시스템의 경우에는 종단간 병목구간인 인터넷 추간의 트래픽 양을 줄여주므로 그 효과는 더욱 크게 나타난다. 성능측정 결과 원래 웹 객체의 크기에 따라 압축율은 달라지지만 2배에서 크게는 8배 정도까지의 데이터 전송량이 줄었으며 사용자의 응답시간은 평균 37% 정도의 속도 향상이 있었으며 원래 데이터의 크기가 10Kbyte 이상인 경우에서는 평균 속도 향상율이 87% 정도로 향상 정도가 더욱 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
