Development of effective convergence type medical tourism platform

  • Current medical tourism is focused on the services of large hospitals and it is hard to find ways to attract the users. Users collect information for medical tourism through various paths in order to receive the medical consultations and customized tour services. To expand medical tourism to small and medium sized hospitals, it is necessary to have the customized medical consultations, tours and interpreter services, which are the key elements of medical tourism. This study suggests ways to provide the services based on information on medical consultations, tours and interpreter services that users had experienced directly, and also based on the platform for the essential items integrated from users, hospitals and guides' viewpoints. With information on hospitals that provide medical consultations and guides who are able to provide professional services in translation, interpretation and customized tour, users may accumulate and share the information about hospitals and customized tours verified by other users from the integrated platform. To match the contents provided by hospitals and guides with information experienced by users into a system, this study suggests the construction plan for the service model that can match the experience information between users and hospitals, between users and guides and between hospitals and guides systematically by operating the data in the universal container.

A Lightweight Three-Party Privacy-preserving Authentication Key Exchange Protocol Using Smart Card

  • How to make people keep both the confidentiality of the sensitive data and the privacy of their real identity in communication networks has been a hot topic in recent years. Researchers proposed privacy-preserving authenticated key exchange protocols (PPAKE) to answer this question. However, lots of PPAKE protocols need users to remember long secrets which are inconvenient for them. In this paper we propose a lightweight three-party privacy-preserving authentication key exchange (3PPAKE) protocol using smart card to address the problem. The advantages of the new 3PPAKE protocol are: 1. The only secrets that the users need to remember in the authentication are their short passwords; 2. Both of the users can negotiate a common key and keep their identity privacy, i.e., providing anonymity for both users in the communication; 3. It enjoys better performance in terms of computation cost and security. The security of the scheme is given in the random oracle model. To the best of our knowledge, the new protocol is the first provably secure authentication protocol which provides anonymity for both users in the three-party setting.

위치기반서비스를 위한 지도정보가 반영된 옥내측위통합 시스템 (Integrated Indoor Positioning Systems Reflecting Map Information for Location Based Services)

  • So many location based service systems, including automobile navigation system logistic management, taxi fleet management, and so on, are being used everywhere. However, these are all outdoors. This paper provides a stepping stone for commercial indoor location based services by developing an integrated system of our indoor positioning and map viewer modules. For the indoor positioning, we propose WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) based EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) which estimates user's current location and tracts user's trace in the sequence of time. Our map viewer renders a map recorded in an Autocad DXF file and provides functions of map manipulation such as zoom-in, zoom-out, and move. We integrate our indoor positioning and map viewer modules and discuss the experimental results of the integrated system.

  • USM(Unit Service Management System) is the development tool and methodology to handling the event process in a U-City integrated platform by using the minimum unit services. USM can be one of the SOA development methodology. Minimum unit service has a minimum business logic that can be executed with input and output parameters. Minimum unit service consists of three parts : service profile, service input and output parameters and service execution information. USM provides two types of the execution method. One is module execution and the other is web service execution. The development of the event sinario by the USM development methodology can reduce the cost and duration of the u-service development by raising the rate of reusing minimum unit service.

  • CALS, being widely adopted by industry, is a strategy to share integrated digital product data through a set of standards to achieve effieciencies and competition in business. For CALS implemetation, creating a shared information system is necessary and CITIS is proposed for that. CITIS shall provide on-line access and automated exchange of all the technical information between contractor and service provider, and the function of CITIS is difined in MIL-STD-974. In this paper, regarding CITIS as a infrastructure of information for CALS, we proposed CITIS server system which comprise global data sharing software, global data management system, workflow manager, and configuration management maneger.

  • PHR(Personal Health Record)은 평생건강관리를 지원하기 위해 소비자에게 자신의 진료정보를 언제 어디서나 열람할 수 있고 건강정보를 직접 입력 및 관리할 수 있도록 도와주는 서비스로 정의할 수 있다. 이러한 PHR 서비스를 효율적으로 제공하기 위해서는 PHR 시스템과 보건의료 관련 정보시스템이 통합 및 연계될 수 있어야 한다. 하지만 현재의 보건의료분야 정보시스템은 늘어나는 보건의료 수요 충족을 위해 다양한 시스템을 구축 운영하고 있으며, 그에 따른 정보화예산은 지속적으로 증가 추세에 있지만, 현재의 시스템은 다양한 시스템 간의 상호 연관성이 있음에도 통합 및 연계가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 한계를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 웹 서비스 기반의 보건의료분야 통합정보시스템을 제안한다. 웹에서 서비스 통합을 추구하는 주요한 수단으로 서비스 지향 구조(Service Oriented Architecture : SOA)를 들 수 있다. 이는 기존에 구축되어 있는 시스템을 크게 변형하지 않으면서도 새로운 요구사항들을 추가할 수 있도록 허용함으로써 빠르게 변화하는 보건의료분야 환경에 최대한 신속히 적응 할 수 있도록 하는 매우 중요한 모델이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 PHR 서비스를 위한 플랫폼으로써 SOA를 기반으로 하는 보건의료분야 통합정보시스템을 설계하고 이를 구현함으로써, 웹 서비스 기반이 PHR 서비스를 위한 새로운 통합정보시스템 구축의 적합한 모델임을 입증한다.

  • In Integrated Services Internet the Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP) provides a signaling mechanism for end to end QoS. In this paper, we propose a novel scheme using a Hierarchical Mobile Agents Tree (HMAT) based on the definition of new option called QoS Object Option (QOO) in order to improve the efficiency during handoff in Integrated Services Internet. Mobile agents are required to manage QOO, resource reservation and other mobility related basks un behalf of mobile hosts. This scheme is based on Mobile IPv6.

공공도서관의 지식정보 취약계층서비스 전략 (Strategies of the Knowledge and Information Services for Vulnerable Classes in Public Libraries)

  • 최근 국내에서도 취약계층별 공공도서관 서비스에 대한 연구가 많이 수행되었다. 그러나 인적 및 물적 자원이 제한된 공공도서관 입장에서는 과부하로 인하여 제시된 모든 대안을 수용하기 어려울 뿐만 아니라 여러 대안이 논리적으로 모순되고 현실적으로 상충될 가능성을 내포하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 실정법이 규정하고 있는 5대 취약계층(장애인, 다문화가족, 노인, 농어촌주민, 기초생활수급자)을 대상으로 지식정보서비스를 강화하기 위한 통합형 지향성과 전략적 방안을 제시하였다.

An Integrated Method for Application-level Internet Traffic Classification

  • Enhanced network speed and the appearance of various applications have recently resulted in the rapid increase of Internet users and the explosive growth of network traffic. Under this circumstance, Internet users are eager to receive reliable and Quality of Service (QoS)-guaranteed services. To provide reliable network services, network managers need to perform control measures involving dropping or blocking each traffic type. To manage a traffic type, it is necessary to rapidly measure and correctly analyze Internet traffic as well as classify network traffic according to applications. Such traffic classification result provides basic information for ensuring service-specific QoS. Several traffic classification methodologies have been introduced; however, there has been no favorable method in achieving optimal performance in terms of accuracy, completeness, and applicability in a real network environment. In this paper, we propose a method to classify Internet traffic as the first step to provide stable network services. We integrate the existing methodologies to compensate their weaknesses and to improve the overall accuracy and completeness of the classification. We prioritize the existing methodologies, which complement each other, in our integrated classification system.

국방연구정보의 모바일 시맨틱 통합검색 시스템 (A Mobile Semantic Integrated Search System of National Defense Research Information)

  • 국방 분야의 연구정보들을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해서는 국방연구정보에 관한 메타데이터가 체계적으로 관리되어야 하며, 이를 기반으로 국방연구정보의 융합과 관리를 돕는 통합시스템이 구축되어야 한다. 이와 함께, 모바일 장비를 이용한 검색이 증가하고 있는 추세이므로 사용자들에게는 모바일 환경에서의 효과적인 통합 검색 서비스가 제공되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 국방연구정보를 활용한 모바일 시맨틱 통합검색 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 더블린코어의 메타데이터와 주요 국방 관련 연구기관의 데이터베이스 정보를 분석하여 국방연구 온톨로지와 국방연구 규칙을 정의하였고, 정의된 온톨로지와 규칙이 국방연구정보의 시맨틱 통합검색에 활용되는 것을 보이기 위해 모바일 시맨틱 통합검색 시스템의 프로토타입을 구현하였다. 또한 모바일 환경에서의 시맨틱 통합검색을 지원하기 위한 트리플 기반 검색 서비스와 향후 활용 가능한 모바일 시맨틱 통합검색 서비스들을 제시하였다.
