A New Approach of Intensity Predictio in Copper Electroplating Monitoring Using Hybrid HSMM and ANN

  • Copper electroplating is a very popular and important technology for depositing high-quality conductor interconnections, especially in through silicon via (TSV). As this advanced packaging technique developing, a mass of copper and chemical solution are used, so attention to these chemical materials into the utilization and costs can not be ignored. An economical and practical real-time chemical solution monitoring has not been achieved yet. Either Red-green-blue (RGB) or optical emission spectroscopy (OES) color sensor can successfully monitor the color condition of solution during the process. The reaction rate, uniformity and quality can map onto the color changing. Hidden Semi Markov model (HSMM) can establish mapping from the color change to upper indicators, and artificial neural network (ANN) can be integrated to comprehensively determine its targets, whether the solution inside the container can continue to use.

  • Owing to the variability of large-scaled wind power system, the development of wind farm management technologies and related compensation methods have been receiving attention. To provide an accurate and reliable output power, certain wind farm adopts a specified management system including a wind prediction model and grid expectation solutions for considering grid condition. Those technologies are focused on improving the reliability and stability issues of wind farms, which can affect not only nearby system devices but also a voltage condition of utility grid. Therefore, to adapt the develop management system, an expectation process about voltage condition of Point of Common Coupling should be integrated in operating system for responding system requirements in real-time basis. This paper introduce a grid imposing method for a real-time based wind farm management system. The expected power can be transferred to the power flow section and the required quantity about reactive power can be calculated through the proposed system. For the verification process, the gauss-seidel method is introduced in the Matlab/Simulink for analysing power flow condition. The entire simulation process was designed to interwork with PSCAD for verifying real power system condition.

  • 본 연구는 육화 추세를 추적하는 과정에서 MNDWI (Modified Normalized Difference Water Index)와 NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index)를 통합한 접근의 실용성을 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 사례 연구지역인 우포늪에 대해 MNDWI는 수분 지수에 민감하여, 수문 객체는 더욱 강조하고 습윤 토양의 변화를 추적하는 등 수문 객체 외의 요소들은 더욱 강하게 배제하는 근거를 제시하였다. NDVI는 식생의 수령, 식생밀도에 대한 정보를 제시하고, 수분객체와 다른 토지 피복 유형(식생, 건물, 도로 등)을 가시적으로 추적하였다. NDVI와 MNDWI의 통합접근을 통해 산출되는 정량적이고 거시적인 정보는 NDVI와 MNDWI의 변화가 육화에 대한 정량적인 근거로 활용될 수 있다는 의미있는 결과를 보여준다. 본 연구는 향후 내륙습지의 육화에 대한 장기적 모니터링과 전반적인 육화 대응방안을 도출하는 과정에서 NDVI, MNDWI 통합접근의 근거가 되는 기초자료를 제공하였다.

  • 무선컴퓨팅에서의 최근 동향은 모바일능력을 향상시키고, 응용범위의 필요성에 적합한 새로운 접근 방법을 개발하는데 초점이 모아지고 있다. 이 논문은 환자의 무선의료 소자로부터 무선으로 데이터를 받고 반응하고 그 셀룰러 네트워크를 활용하여 의료센터로 보내는 기능을 가진 IEEE802.15.4 무선 CDMA기반의 헬스케어 시스템에 관한 것이다. 모바일 응용시스템은 무선센서네트워크와 셀룰러 네트워크사이에서 의료데이터를 받고 보내는 것을 조절하는 미들웨어 뿐만 아니라 위치에 상관없이 휴대전화로 환자의 헬스상태를 연속적으로 모니터링하고 분석하는 인터페이스를 제공한다. 따라서 이 시스템은 원격 헬스모니터링을 가능하게 하고 IEEE802.15.4 무선네트워크와 병원이외의 지역에서의 CDMA 네트워크사이에서 원격 헬스모니터링과 끊김없는 메디컬데이터 연결을 제공한다.

비정질 실리콘 투과형 태양전지를 적용한 BIPV 시스템 발전 성능에 관한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Power Performance Characteristics of Building Integrated PV System with Amorphous Silicon Transparent Solar Cells)

  • Practical building integrated photovoltaic system built by Kolon E&C has been monitored and evaluated with respect to power generation, which was installed in Deokpyeong Eco Service Area in Deokpyeong, Gyeonggi, Korea. The amorphous silicon transparent PV module in this BIPV system has 44Wp in power output per unit module and 10% of transmittance with the unit dimension with $980mm{\times}950mm$. The BIPV system was applied as the skylight in the main entrance of the building. This study provided the database for the practical application of the transparent thin-film PV module for BIPV system through 11 month monitoring as well as various statistical analyses such as monthly power output and insolation. Average monthly power output of the system was 52.9kWh/kWp/month which is a 60% of power output of the previously reported data obtained under $30^{\circ}$of an inclined PV module facing south(azimuth=0). This lower power output can be explained by the installation condition of the building facing east, west and south, which was resulted from the influence of azimuth.

사물인터넷 기반 미세먼지 모니터링 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design of Fine Dust Monitoring System based on the Internet of Things)

  • 최근 대기환경오염의 심각성이 커짐에 따라 대기오염에 대한 관심도가 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 사물 인터넷 기반 미세먼지 모니터링 시스템은 대기환경오염 중 인체에 영향을 미치는 가장 큰 원인인 미세먼지, 휘발성 유기화합물, 이산화탄소 등을 측정하고 모니터링 할 수 있도록 하였다. 미세먼지 모니터링 시스템은 대기환경정보를 측정할 수 있는 측정 장치, 측정된 정보를 저장 및 분석할 수 있는 서버 시스템, 대기환경정보를 실시간으로 시각화 분석이 가능하도록 관리자용 통합 모니터링 관리 시스템과 사용자용 스마트 폰 애플리케이션으로 구성하여 하였다. 또한, 시스템의 응답속도, 센서 데이터의 전송속도, 센서의 측정오차를 이용하여 제안한 사물인터넷 기반 미세먼지 모니터링 시스템의 효율성을 검증하고자 하였다. 사물인터넷 기반 미세먼지 모니터링 시스템은 대기환경정보를 휴대용 미세먼지 측정 장치로 측정한 후 대기오염상태를 시각화함으로써 사용자의 편리성과 시스템의 효율성을 증대시킬 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

엔진오일 유전상수 변화량 측정에 의한 엔진오일 품질 모니터링 시스템 개발 (Development of an Engine Oil Quality Monitoring System)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an engine oil quality monitoring system to warn the abnormal condition of engine oil. To do this, first of all, it is needed a personal controller development to measure the capacitance of a pre-developed engine oil deterioration detection sensor integrated with an oil filter. To measure the capacitance of engine oil in the sensor, it is used the way measuring the electric charging time in a capacitor by impressing DC volt. This method has merits on cost and signal stability. The measured capacitance is compensated by comparing with the one measured by an impedance analyzer. Also, using the dielectric constant gained by an impedance analyzer, the calculating equation of the dielectric constant of engine oil related with the currently developed sensor is decided. Then, the deterioration degree of engine oil is estimated according to the change rate of dielectric constant between green oil and used oil. Finally, using this dielectric constant information together with engine oil temperature and pressure, the currently developed engine oil quality monitoring system is to tell the abnormal state of engine oil.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution driven by the convergence of ICT(information and communication technology) and manufacturing, research on smart factories is being actively conducted. In particular, the manufacturing industry prefers smart factories that autonomously connect and analyze data. For the efficient implementation of smart factories, it is essential to have an integrated production system that vertically integrates separately operated production equipment and heterogeneous S/W systems such as ERP, MES. In addition, it is necessary to double-verify production data by using automatic data collection technology so that the production process can be traced transparently. In this study, we want to show a case of data-centered integration of a large aircraft parts processing factory that requires high precision, takes a long time, and has the characteristics of processing large raw materials. For this, the components of the data-oriented integrated production system were identified and the connection structure between them was explained. And we would like to share the experience gained through the design and implementation case. The integrated production system proposed in this study integrates internal components based on data, which is expected to serve as a basis for SMEs to develop into an advanced stage, and traces materials with RFID technology.

태양열 시설원예 난방시스템 장기실증 성능분석 연구 (Study on the performance analysis of long-term field test for protected horticulture heating system using solar thermal energy)

  • Objective of the research is to demonstrate solar thermal space and ground heating system which is integrated to a greenhouse culture facility for reducing heating cost, increasing the value of product by environment control, and developing advanced culture technology by deploying solar thermal system. Field test for the demonstration was carried out in horticulture complex in Jeju Island. Medium scale solar hot water system was installed in a ground heating culture facility. Reliability and economic aspect of the system which was operated complementary with thermal storage and solar hot water generation were analyzed by investigating collector efficiency, operation performance, and control features. Short term day test on element performance and Long term test of the whole system were carried out. Optimum operating condition and its characteristics were closely investigated by changing the control condition based on the temperature difference which is the most important operating parameter. For establishing more reliable and optimal design data regarding system scale and operation condition, continuous operation and monitoring on the system need to be further carried out. However, it is expected that, in high-insolation areas where large-scale ground storage is adaptable, solar system demonstrated in the research could be economically competitive and promisingly disseminate over various application areas.
