  • We made a comparative study, A patient who had suffered dizziness and ataxia took Hyungbangsabaek-san(荊防瀉白散) at first and next took Hyungbangdojeock-san(荊防導赤散). He was diagnosed as a Soyangin suffering chest knotting syndrome(結胸證) by Sasang constitutional medicine(四象醫學) and took two kinds of herbs in a row. We observed his phase of dizziness and ataxia with the conditions of stool and urine excavation, pink eye, sweating, and tongue color and tongue coating. When he took Hyungbangdojeock-san these conditions improved more than when he took the other one and his dizziness and ataxia also improved. Hyungbangdojeock-san was more useful when the severity of the disease was shallower and he had more exterior syndromes than Hyungbangsabaek-san.

Application of Group Master Cache for the Integrated Environment of SAN and NAS (Group Master Cache를 활용한 SAN과 NAS의 통합 방안)

  • As the Internet grows and the mass multimedia data become popular, the storage system migrates from DAS, where the storage and the server are directly connected, to SAN and NAS. SAN connects the storages with a separate network, and NAS provides only file services, connects the storages with IP network. However, SAN and NAS can not fulfill the needs for companies if used separately, thus are asked to be integrated. In this research, we propose an efficient data sharing method which employees the concept of GMC, Croup Master Cache for the integrated environment of SAN and NAS. GMC is based on MCI, Metadata server and Cluster system Integration, but tries to solve the high expansion cost problem with MCI. We introduce the basic concept of GMC, compare the performance of GMC with that of MCI using computer simulation.

Observation of Inflammatory Marker Levels in Sprague-Dawley Rats with Youngyopaedoc-san-related Anti-atherogenic Effect (연교패독산(連翹敗毒散) 복용 후 항동맥경화 효과가 나타난 백서에서 염증 지표 관찰)

  • Objectives: Sprague-Dawley rats were fed with high fat diet, and atherogenic changes were seen in the aorta. However, when Sprague-Dawley rats were fed with a high fat diet and administered Youngyopaedoc-san together, these atherogenic changes were rarely seen. This study was aimed to find the inflammatory marker level changes in Sprague-Dawley rats with Youngyopaedoc-san-related anti-atherogenic effect. Methods: The extract from Youngyopaedoc-san was made by the pharmacy department of Kyung-hee Oriental Medical Hospital. The animals were divided into five groups: normal diet, high fat diet, high fat diet with Youngyopaedoc-san, high fat diet with Vytorin, and high fat diet with Youngyopaedoc-san and Vytorin. A light microscopic image of a cross section taken from the aorta of the Sprague-Dawley rat was analyzed. We compared inflammatory marker levels among the five groups. Results: The complex of Youngyopaedoc-san and Vytorin has more anti-atherogenic effects in the aorta of Sprague-Dawley rats fed with high fat diet than Vytorin alone. Youngyopaedoc-san has inhibitory effect on the increase of IFN-${\gamma}$ and IL-2 levels. The difference on eosinophil levels of each group was statistically significant, but the eosinophil level of each group was within normal limits, so the difference on eosinophil levels was not clinically significant. Conclusions: Youngyopaedoc-san-related anti-atherogenic effect could be a result of inhibitory mechanism on IFN-${\gamma}$ and IL-2.

Performance Analysis on Integrated Ship Area Network (선박 통합 네트워크 구조 성능 분석)

  • This paper analyzes ship area network(SAN) with integrated gateway. For the analysis, this paper analyzes reference network architecture, end-to-end connection model, traffic model, and requirement of SAN. Also, the type of network element and minimum performance of integrated gateway is derived by ship area network simulator. The performance evaluation results show that a integrated gateway operating as network switch with performance over than 30,000 packets/sec can provides end-to-end connection with satisfaction of requirement of each end-to-end connection.

Review on the Research Related to Bangpungtongseong-san(Bofutsusho-san) in Korea (방풍통성산 관련 연구 분석)

  • Objectives : The objective of the review was to research related to Bangpungtongseong-san(Bofutsusho-san) in oriental medicine in South Korea. Methods : Oriental medicine advanced searching integrated system(OASIS), 4 Korean medical databases and 5 Korean medical journals were searched by using search terms as Bangpungtongseong-san or Bofutsusho-san. In order to see detail review, we classified all the searched studies into types, methods, purposes, outcome measures and main conclusions. Results : We found out total thirty one studies. There were seventeen experimental studies, four clinical studies, seven case reports and three literature reviews. The main thesis were related to metabolic syndrome, including obesity, hyperlipidemia and hypertension, etc. The studies about the safety and toxicity concluded Bangpungtongseong-san did not seem to affect toxicity. In the outcome measure, body mass index, serum biochemical analysis, cell study, abdominal computed tomography(CT) and bioelectrical impedance analysis were used. Conclusions : To improve more objective and continuous research in oriental medicine, further rigorous clinical trials using herbal medicines should be performed.

  • Recently, various public services are being performed based on information systems as the informatization business spreads. Public administration services based on these information systems provide internal and external services. In recent years, as the construction of cloud-based public services has been expanded, the advancement of information systems has attracted attention. In particular, as the dependence on information systems increases, the establishment of a response system to prevent dangerous situations such as interruption and paralysis of information systems in advance has become a hot topic not only in companies but also in public institutions. Therefore, in this paper, a disaster recovery system was designed and built to maximize the efficiency of system operation and shorten recovery time through service conversion automation of the disaster recovery system. The integrated DR server redundancy test, web server redundancy test, FC-IP redundancy test, and SAN switch redundancy test were performed respectively by applying the disaster recovery system designed and built according to the method proposed in the paper.

  • "San-Jia-Zhu" is the integrated study of "Shi-Ji" of the Sui and Tang dynasty. It has preserved the ancient note large, rich notes, annotation methods, which have a greater impact on historical research. In collating, "San-Jia-Zhu" not only for 's error correction, and the comprehensive use of various methods of collation in collating process. First, he paid attention to the contrast between different versions very much, to determine the word errors using the similarities and differences between different versions of the diffracted off. This draft is $\ll$Shiji${\gg}$ from ancient Chinese research methods to explore the characters, phonology, syntax, exegesis, collation of historical value.

A Study on the Technologies of Storage Management System for Digital Contents (디지털콘텐츠의 저장관리시스템 기술에 관한 연구)

  • With the rapidly evolving information technologies and the Internet, a network-based storage management system is required that can efficiently save, search, modify, and manage digital contents which are increasing by geometric progression. Recently, the SAN became highlighted as a solution to such issues as the integrated data management for heterogeneous systems, the effective utilization of storage systems, and the limitation of data transfer. SAN allows for effective management and sharing of bulk data by directly connecting the storage systems, which used to be independently connected to servers, to the high-speed networks such as optical channels. In this study, I researched on the technologies, standardization and market trends of storage management systems, and performed comparative analyses of the structures, components, and performances for achieving the integration of diverse system storage systems as well as the virtualization of storage systems.

A Study on Single Cell Polarized Signals Using Polydimethylsiloxane-based Micropatterned Channel System (폴리디메틸실록산 기반 마이크로패턴 채널 시스템을 이용한 단일 세포의 극성 신호에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we produced the micropatterned channel system using polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and micromolding in capillaries (MIMIC) technology and evaluated cellular polarity signals through high-resolved imaging at the single-cell level. In cells treated with platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), three types of key signals in cell migration; phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3 K), Rac, and Actin, were strongly activated in the front area compared to the rear region, whereas myosin light chain (MLC) showed no notable activity in the front and rear areas. Our results will, therefore, provide important information and methodology for studying the correlation between cell polarity signals and cell migration under the newly defined microenvironment.
