  • In the 21st century, the traffic culture is changing suddenly with the advent of high-speed train era so called the traffic revolution age. The policy management for inducing the creativity becomes important for research institutes since the research institutes play an important role for the lead and distribution of new technologies. Therefore, the approach strategy of this investigation is based on the viewpoint of the organizational culture for better performance of research and development through stimulating inducements of creativity and active action of members. A questionnaire survey was performed on five research institutes including a professional railway research institute (PRRI) and four industrial research institutes for the current research, and a development plan for organizational culture of a PRRI has been presented based on the comparison study between two different types of research institutes.

  • We have fabricated solution-processed zinc-tin oxide thin film transistors (TFTs) and simple circuits on glass substrates. We report a solutionprocessed zinc-tin oxide TFTs on silicon wafer with mobility greater than 9 $cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ (W/L = 100/5 ${\mu}m$) and threshold voltage variation of less than 1 V after bias-stressing. Also, we fabricated solution-processed zinc-tin oxide circuits including inverters and 7-stage ring oscillators fabricated on glass substrates using the developed zinc-tin oxide TFTs.

  • The purpose of this Study is to present the tasks and means of improving the operational system of public culture and arts institutes in the future on the basis of the analysis of the effectiveness of operation of public culture and arts institutes. The summary of the results of analysis in this Study is as follows: Firstly, it was found that the factor variables that impart effect on the operation of public culture and arts institutes included (1) artistic value, (2) convenience and (3) organizational management, while the performance variable of public culture and arts institutes was (4) operational performance. Secondly, in the analysis of the structure that explains the operational effects of public culture and arts institutes, convenience and organizational management were found to impart effects on the operational performances. However, artistic value was found to have no effect on operational performances. Therefore, these results of analysis imply that organizational management and convenience, rather than artistic value, need to be fortified in order to elevate the operational performances of public culture and arts institutes.

  • 4-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-2-aminothiazole and 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-aminothiadiazole derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated as selective antagonists for human adenosine A$_3$ receptors. A methoxy group in the 4-position of the phenyl ring and N-acetyl or propionyl substitutions of the aminothiazole and aminothiadiazole templates displayed great increases of binding affinity and selectivity for human adenosine A$_3$ receptors. The most potent A$_3$ antagonist of the present series, N-[3-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-[1,2,4]thiadiazol-5-yl]-acetamide exhibiting a K$\_$i/ value of 0.79 nM at human adenosine A$_3$ receptors, showed antagonistic property in functional assay of cAMP biosynthesis involved in one of the signal transduction pathways of adenosine A$_3$ receptors. • In previous reports, pVPSV.IGR2.1 transgenic mouse were described that brain tumor and lymphoma by reason of Vasopressin-SV40 T antigen. In this study, we produced pVPSV.IGR3.6 transgenic mouse that used pVPSV.IGR3.6 vector. Expression of transgene was vary different in transgenic mouse. We obtained 6 transgenic mouse line, moreover they had died at the age of 2-6 weeks without transmitting the transgene to their offspring, and had tumorigenesis on same location with pVPSV.IGR2.1 transgenic mouse. Only a founder mouse was investigated for expression of fusion gene. Here we extended this transgenic approach to the study of tumor progression. From the mouse, we confirmed brain tumor cell, after then cultured for investigate characterization. In this report, we demonstrate that reduction of survival rate in transgenic mouse fused vasopressin gene length, acquisition of brain tumor cell, composition with astrocyte cells and neuronal cells. Finally, cells had no change with increase of passage.

  • Superoxide dismutases are key antioxidant enzymes in metabolism of reactive oxygen species. Three different isoforms of SOD exist in mammals. The extracellular SOD (EC-SOD) is the most recently discovered SOD family member. This isoform is a copper- and zinc-containing enzyme like Cu/Zn-SOD and a homotetrameric glycoprotein with a molecular weight of about 165 kDa in mouse. (omitted)

  • The importance of R & D activities has been emphasized in modem economy due to rapid growth of high-tech industry. This research has taken a macroscopic approach to understand the spatial location pattern of company-affiliated R & D institute. According to the result based on this analysis, a number of company-affiliated R & D institutes have shown high centralization in Seoul Metropolitan Area(SMA); however, more serious analysis has shown that institutes have different regional tendencies based on their industrial classifications with lower high-tech tendencies show less centralization in the SMA. Moreover, it also has indicated that larger corporations or higher capability of hiring top class researcher have tendency to decentralize their institutes. The result also points out that institutes are likely to be located near their head offices or factories; or located along with other research institutes in the same industrial field. The locations of the institutes, however, have shown the regional differences as well. After taking all the characteristics into consideration, this study has categorized types of institutes locations into four groups.

  • This research was conducted as a part of research project entitled 'A Fact-finding Survey of Management of Vocational Training Institutes and the Development of Training Program Model for their CEO'. The purpose of this paper was to investigate developing strategies for vocational training institutes in three sector; public institute, private institute and private academy for life long education and to develop practical and professional programs based on competencies model of CEO. The major subjects of this paper were developing strategies of three type of vocational training institutes, exploration of competencies of CEO, and training program for CEO. Delphi method was applied two times. The panel consists of 30 experts who relate to vacational training. The panel of experts emphasized the different own mission and function among three type of vocational institutes. Public institutes support the government policy and private institutes and academy. Private institutes develop specialized training programs that reflect the regional demand. Private academies focus on short-term service training. To recognize changing vocational training policy, to develop vision of institute, ethical mind and sense of mission and so on are presented as competencies of CEO.

  • In Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) experiments, to achieve long pulse and high-power ICRH system operation, a new kind of ICRH antenna has been designed. One of the most critical factors in limiting the operation of long pulse and high power is the intense heat load in the front face of the ICRH antenna, especially the Faraday Screen (FS). Therefore, the cooling channels of FS need to be designed. According to thermal-hydraulic analysis, the FS tubes are divided into several groups to achieve more excellent water cooling capability. The number of series and parallel tubes in one group is chosen as six. This antenna went into service in the spring of 2021, and it is delightful that the temperature distribution of the FS tube is below 400 ℃ in 14.5 s and 1.8 MW ICRH system operation. However, the active water-cooling design was not carried out on the upper and lower plates of FS, which led to severe ablations on that region under long pulse and high power operation, and the temperature is up to 800. Therefore, the upper and lower side plates of the FS were designed with water cooling based on thermal-hydraulic analysis. During the 2022 winter experiments, the temperature of ICRH antenna FS was lower than 400 in the pulse of 200s and the power of 1 MW operation.
