소형(1mm이하) hole의 형태 및 크기 측정을 위한 자동초점 비젼검사기 (Automatic Focusing Vision System for Inspection of Size and Shape of Small Hole)

  • Since the quality of the coated wires is in various applications dependant on the coating depth, accuracy of hole size of dies used for coating wires must be maintained precisely, in general within one micron. This paper proposes a new vision system which measures automatically the size and shape of small holes having diameters less than 1mm within an error limit of 1 micron. To quickly obtain the focused image, this paper proposes an estimation method of the camera position using only a couple of defocused hole images. It measures the distributions of light intensity around the image boundary and decides the direction and distance of a camera motion. The proposed system measures the size, shape distortion, inclination of the hole against the axis of the dies structure, to decides the acceptability of the dies for use. The proposed algorithm has been implemented using a cheap 640${\times}$480 image system and has shown an average size error of 1micron when measuring the dieses having 0.1mm to 1.0mm diameters. It can be applied to the inspection of the size and position of holes in PCB, too.

A New Robotic 3D Inspection System of Automotive Screw Hole

  • This paper presents a new non-contact 3D robotic inspection system to measure the precise positions of screw and punch holes on a car body frame. The newly developed sensor consists of a CCD camera, two laser line generators and LED light. This lightweight sensor can be mounted on an industrial robot hand. An inspection algorithm and system that work with this sensor is presented. In performance evaluation tests, the measurement accuracy of this inspection system was about 200 ${\mu}m$, which is a sufficient accuracy in the automotive industry.

  • The applicability of the ultrasonic C-scan inspection is restricted due to the deterioration of mechanical properties of specimen during the test. Therefore, the aim of this research is applied to Eddy Current (EC) test substitute for the C-scan inspection in CFRP tube containing defects. This research is to evaluate the EC signals for the inspection of CFRP tube containing various circular hole defects (20% to 100% depth to the specimen thickness) using the unloading specimen and radial loading specimen. This study was considered the following points; 1) Analysis of EC signals for the inspection of saw-cut defect and circular hole defect, 2) The evaluation of defect depths and EC signals relationship. 3) Variation of EC signal owing to the radial load. In conclusions, the high frequency such as 300∼500 kHz made it possible to the inspection of 40% to 100% defects. Particularly, in case of 20% defect, the EC signal was not detected due to the noise of micro-crack and delamination. While the depth of the hole defects were decreasing, the difference of the phase angle between unloading specimen and radial loading specimen was gradually increasing.

홀위치 측정을 위한 레이져비젼 시스템 개발 (A Laser Vision System for the High-Speed Measurement of Hole Positions)

  • In this page, we developed the inspection system for automobile parts using the laser vision sensor. Laser vision sensor has gotten 2 dimensions information and third dimension information of laser vision camera using the vision camera. Used JIG and ROBOT for inspection position transfer. Also, computer integration system developed that control system component pal1s and manage data measurement information. Compare sensor measurement result with CAD Data and verified measurement result effectiveness taking advantage of CAD to get information of measurement object.

  • Recently, electronic equipments become smaller, more functional, and more complex than before. As these trends, MLC(multi-layer ceramic) circuit has been emerged to a promising technology in semiconductor inspection industry. Especially, multi-layer ceramic which is consisted of many fine-pitch multi-hole is used to produce a semiconductor inspection unit. The hole is processed by UV laser. But, working conditions are changed all the time. Therefore real time measurement of fine-pitch multi-hole is very important method for ensuring performance. In this paper we found the best method for illuminating and auto focusing. And, we verified our equipment.

  • PDP(Plasma Display Panel) 프레임은 PDP의 핵심 부품으로 매월 수 십 만개 이상을 생산하고 있다. 대량생산 과정에서 제품의 검사 과정은 매우 중요한 공정 단계이며 제품의 신뢰성을 높이기 위해 모든 부품과 완제품에 대한 전수 검사가 종종 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서 구현 하고자 하는 시각 검사 공정의 자동화는 생산 현장에서 컴퓨터 비전 기술을 이용하여 PDP 부품의 일부인 프레임의 결함을 검사한다. 본 논문은 PDP 프레임에 있는 홀(Hole), 탭홀(Tab), 스터드(STUD), 리벳(Rivet)의 결함을 검사하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현 하였다. 본 시스템은 다양한 종류의 PDP 프레임을 학습하고 검사 할 수 있다. 모든 제품에 대한 신속하고 정확하게 100% 검사를 함으로써 공정의 효율성을 높이고 검사결과의 데이터베이스화로 신속한 결함의 원인파악과 조치가 가능하도록 하였다. 시스템을 산업체에 적용한 결과 신속하고 정확한 검사가 가능함을 보였다.

  • 다양한 소비자의 요구에 따라 가공된 제품을 좀더 신속하고 정확하게 측정할 수 있는 공작기계 내 자동계측장치를 적용하는 사례가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 자동 계측으로 가장 많이 활용되는 접촉식 측정 프로브는 주로 공작물의 가공 원점을 설정하고, 정확한 치수 검사를 통한 불량유무 판정 및 보상가공에 많이 활용된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기기상 자동계측장치인 접촉식 측정 프로브를 활용하여 가공된 형상을 신속하고 정확하게 측정하는 방법을 연구하였으며 이를 위하여 가장 많이 활용되는 홀 측정 사이클에 대한 매크로 프로그램을 개발하였다. 또한 측정 시 홀의 진원도 오차에 따라 발생할 수 있는 편심량을 시뮬레이션하여 분석하였으며 본 연구의 신뢰성을 높이기 위하여 기기상에서 개발된 홀 측정 매크로 프로그램을 이용하여 홀플레이트에 대한 측정이 이루어졌으며, 진원도 오차에 따른 편심량을 검증하였다.

구조안전성 기반의 가로등주 설계개선방안 (On the Improvement for Design Methods of Luminaire Supports Based on the Structural Safety)

  • 가로등은 도로이용자가 안전하게 통행하기 위한 도로의 필수 시설물이지만 가로등은 도로의 부속 전기장치로 취급되어 왔다. 이러한 잘못된 인식 때문에 풍하중과 이에 대한 구조거동에 대한 연구들이 부족하여 풍하중에 충분한 안전성을 확보하지 못함에 따라 태풍 시 많은 가로등이 전도 또는 파손되는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 가로등 안전성을 기반으로 한 기존의 설계기준을 비교 검토하여 가로등주의 설치 여건에 적합한 개선된 설계기준을 제시하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 전도의 원인이 되는 점검구의 응력집중 현상을 분석하고 응력 저감 방안을 검토하였다.

3D 기반의 기상측정 운영시스템 개발 (The Development of 3D based On-Machine Measurement Operating System)

  • This paper proposed efficient manufacturing system using the OMM (on-machine measurement) system. The OMM system is software based 3D modeler for inspection on machine and it is interfaced tool machine with RS232C. The software is composed of two inspection modules that one is touch probe operating module and the other is laser displacement sensor operating module. The module for touch probe has need of inspection feature that extracted it from CAD data. Touch probe moves to workpiece by three operating modes as follows: manual, general and automatic mode. The operating module of laser displacement sensor is used inspection for profile and very small hole. An Advantage of this inspection method is to be able to execute on-line inspection during machining or after it. The efficiency of proposed system which can predict and definite the machining errors of each process is verified, so the developed system is applied to inspect the mold-base(cavity, core).

볼트 홀 결함 평가용 와전류 센서 설계제작 및 특성분석 (The Design & Manufacture and Characteristic Analysis of Eddy Current Sensor for Bolt Hole Defect Evaluation)

  • This paper introduces the special eddy current sensor and its characteristic for bolt hole defect evaluation in gas turbine rotor. In the past, Fluorescent penetration inspection method was used for qualitative defect evaluation in gas turbine rotor bolt hole. This method can defect the bolt hole defect but can not evaluate the defect size. Nowadays, eddy current method is used quantitative defect evaluation due to advanced sensor design technology. And eddy current method is more time and cost saving than the old method. We developed bolt shape eddy current sensor for the rotor bolt hole defect detection and evaluation. The eddy current sensor moves to the bolt hole guided by screw nut and detects the defect on the bolt hole. The bolt hole mock-up and artificial defects were made and used for the signal detection & resolution analysis of eddy current sensor. The results show that signal detection capability is enough to detect 0.2 mm depth defect. And the resolution capability is enough to differentiate 02, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 mm depth defect.
