철도터널내 압력변동 및 터널 미기압파 저감 시험장치개발에 관한 연구 (Development of a new test facility for the study of pressure transients in tunnel and micro-pressure waves radiated from the tunnel exit on the railroad)

  • The test facility of the 1/60-scale models for the train-tunnel interactions was recently developed to investigate the effects of entry portal shapes, hood shapes and air-shafts for reducing the micro-pressure waves radiating to the surroundings of the tunnel exits by KRRI in Korea. The launching system of train model was chosen as air-gun type. In present test rig, after train model is launched, the blast wave by the driver did not enter to inside of the tunnel model. The train model is guided on the one-wire system from air-gun driver to the brake parts of test facility end. Some cases of the experiments were compared with numerical simulations to prove the test facility.

  • The super-speed tube train was introduced to increase the speed of ground transportation. It levitates magnetically and runs in a partial vacuum tube, which significantly reduces air resistance. However, strong magnetic force sufficient to propel the massive train can affect the infrastructure. The induced eddy current produces joule heat, and raises the inside temperature of the girder, which might lead to electrochemical corrosion on the girder, thereby weakening its durability. In this paper, the authors analyzed the magnetic flux and induced eddy current in the reinforced concrete girder by using three-dimensional FEM, particularly by varying the number of reinforcing steels of the upper flange of the girder to the condition of almost the same flexural strength and reinforcing steel amount.

  • Experiments were performed to investigate the effects of mud-flap width on the aeroacoustic noise generation inside high-speed trains. The open-circuit type wind tunnel was used. The measurement setup was custom-built to simulate intercoach spacing. From the measurements, the characteristics of the turbulent flow after the intercoach spacing and consequent generation of aeroacoustic noise inside the cabin was investigated. Especially the effects of mud flap length on the characteristics of the characteristics of the turbulent flow were identified. The mechanism of noise generation by analyzed interactions with structure vibration characteristics and generation characteristics of blocked pressure was investigated.

  • A Systematic approach to estimate an interior noise level for a railway passenger car has been proposed. The prediction is based on the sound power values obtained from measured sound pressure lever, when a high speed train runs at 300km/hr. Then, the exterior sound pressure value is calculated by using the BEM code. After that, an interior sound lever is estimated, considering the transmission loss of body structures and absorption effect inside of the train. In this application, the estimated noise level is between 66 dBA and 74 dBA. The proposed approach could be useful for rough estimation of a noise level inside a passenger car at the design stage, a]though the method has some limitation to be implement for a general situation.

  • Pressure change inside cabin as well as in tunnel has been calculated to assess the passenger pressure comfort of high-speed train. $C-STA^{TM}$, a CFD program based on axi-symmetric Navier-Stokes equation and Roe's FDS has been used to simulate the pressure change in tunnel during a high-speed train passing through it. To present the relative motion between the train and the tunnel, a modified patched grid scheme based on the structured grid system has been employed. The simulation program has been validated by comparing the simulation results with field measurements. Extensive parametric study has been conducted for various train speed, tunnel cross-sectional area and tunnel length to the pressure change in cabin. KTX-Sancheon(KTX2) high-speed train has been chosen for simulation and the train speed have been varied from 200 km/h to 375 km/h. The tunnel length has been varied from 300 m to 7.5 km and tunnel area from $50m^2$ to $120m^2$. Total 504 simulations have been conducted varying the parameters. Based on the database produced from the parametric simulations, minimum tunnel cross-sectional area has been surveyed for various train speeds based on Korean regulation on pressure change in cabin.

  • Because of many advantages of Maglev(magnetic levitation) trains, the study of Maglev technology has been accelerated rapidly throughout the world. As a results of that, German commercialized the super-speed magnetic train in Shanghai at the world-wide beginning. Japan started the first commercial service for the low speed Maglev train system in Nagoya in the world. For the commercial service of Maglev trains, signal system must be installed on the operation line and be controlled by operation control center In this paper, Maglev train operation systems of the inside and outside of the country are investigated and what is supplied for domestic Maglev train system is investigated.

  • Each feeding power is transformed 3 phases of KEPCO through SCOTT transformer and operate a electric train in AC Feeding system of electric railway. Nowaday a power conversion system, installed inside the train, generate a harmonics and has a effect on a power quality and it is necessary to install a countermeasures. This report is proposed a new technique to simulate a power system based on frequency model. The result is resonable relatively with a experimental one.

  • 지하철 승강장의 스크린도어가 설치되기 전에는 승강장을 통해 환기되던 공기가 스크린 도어가 설치된 후에는 터널 내부에 정체되면서 미세먼지에 의한 환경이 더 악화되고 있는 실정이며, 터널환기구가 터널에 정체된 공기의 유일한 순환구로 이용되고 있다. 스크린 도어는 기존 터널환기시스템을 설계할 때 고려되었던 사안은 아니었으며, 지하철 운행 시 스크린도어 설치로 인한 지하 터널 속에서의 공기역학적 변화는 매우 클 것이다. 그러나 지하철이 통과하는 공간인 터널환기에 대한 연구는 미미한 수준이다. 이에 열차가 지하 터널 구간을 운행할 때 발생하는 열차풍에 의한 기류속도를 측정하고, 전철구간의 자연 환기구를 통한 기류의 유입 및 유출 특성을 정량적으로 평가하여 대표적인 기류패턴을 추출함으로써 향후 지하 터널 신설 및 환기 설비 설계에 따른 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다.
