Vibration Control of Actuators Using Magnetostrictive Materials and PPF Algorithm (자기변형재료와 PPF 알고리즘을 이용한 작동기의 진동제어)

  • In this research, using Terfenol-D actuator composed of magnetostrictive material as shaker and controller, active vibration control theory was applied and verified by experiments. PPF(positive Position Feedback) algorithm which is effective for the control of low frequency vibration was used for the control of a structure. Responses of inputs due to various design variable used for the PPF filter were observed. To investigate the characteristics of magnetostrictive materials, actuator responses were measured for known inputs and satisfactory results were obtained to reduce the vibration level after applying the control input for the actuator.

  • 최근 Hard Disk Drive(HDD)는 컴퓨터 산업의 발달과 함께 멀티미디어 어플리케이션의 요구에 따라 대용량화 추세에 있다. 이러한 대용량 HDD 는 고밀도, 고정밀의 track 정보가 필요하게 되고, 이는 HDD 생산에 고속, 고정밀의 Servo Track Writer(STW)를 필요로 하게 되었다. 그러나, 기존의 STW 는 PID 제어기에 공진 모드 제거를 위한 notch filter 를 사용하기 때문에 고속화에는 한계가 있어 track 정보를 기록하는 생산시간의 단축이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 기존의 STW 에 공진 모드의 여기를 최소화하기 위해 제어 입력의 profile 을 설계하는데 convex optimization 을 이용한 최적화 기법을 사용하였다. 이렇게 설계된 제어 입력은 플랜트의 공진 모드가 존재하는 주파수 대역에 에너지를 최소화시켜 공진 모드의 영향을 적게 받는다. 그 결과로 빠른 settling time 과 위치 정밀도가 향상된다. 그 효과는 모의 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • This paper pertains to introducing the design of adaptive filters for the cancellation of muscle noise among several types of noise sources from the ECG signal. We used EMG signals measured along with ECG at the same time to use it as the reference input to the adaptive filter for the experiments. PSD results showed that the statistical characteristics of ECG are closely correlated with those of EMG.

  • This paper proposes the power conversion mechanism of a bailer-charge-transfer zero-current-switching (CT-ZCS) circuit. The operation modes are analyzed and researched using state trajectory equations. The topology of CT-ZCS based on soft-switching inverters offers some merits such as: tracking the input reference signal dynamically, bearing load shock and short circuit, multiplying inverter N+1 redundancy parallel, coordinating power balance for easy control, and soft-switching commutation for high efficiency and large capacity. These advantages are distinctive from conventional inverter topologies and are especially demanded in AC drives: new energy generation and grid, distributed generation systems, switching power amplifier, active power filter, and reactive power compensation and so on. Prototype is manufactured and experiment results show the feasibility and dynamic voltage-tracking characteristics of the topology.

  • This paper presents a decoupling controller of the missile seeker scan loop with a spin-stabilized platform. A precise seeker motion with respect to the scan command is essential for the higher acquisition probability of the target. As the seeker scan loop is a deeply cross-coupled two input two output system, an accurate pointing or scanning for each axis to the target is very difficult, even though provided with the help of a high performance controller. When a decoupling control is applied to the seeker scan loop, the cross-coupling between two axes can be reduced to a remarkable amount. As a low order of controller is required for the real time operation, a PI controller with decoupling filter is suggested and compared with other controllers. A linearized dynamic model of seeker scan loop is used and validated through the comparison of experimental results of step responses.

  • In this paper, we designed the circuit of drive control for towing winch. It is composed of reference voltage circuit for driving voltage reference, low pass filter circuit for noise reduction, dead zone circuit for initial transient input, and driving circuit for drum direction/velocity control. Also it is realized a drive control circuit for towing winch drum in accordance with PWM(pulse width modulation) method to suit it's purpose of a large capacity driving system. The performance of the designed circuit is analyzed by experiments and the appliablity for driving the towing winch drum satisfactorily is evaluated through a various testing.

  • Filament power supply (FPS) for neutral beam injection (NBI) consists of an insulation type is a device that heats the interior of Tokamak. The input/output specifications of FPS are 3-phase AC 200[Vpeak] and DC16V/300A respectively. A conventional FPS is composed of a 3-phase diode rectifier with DC-link, a H-bridge DC/DC converter, a high frequency transformer, a secondary rectifier and a LC-filter. In this paper, to improve the efficiency of PSFB DC/DC converter it is substituted IGBT devices instead of diode rectifier in secondary side. The proposed method is verified by computer simulation and experiment result.

  • For a plant subject to several kinds of disturbances in the plant input side, we consider a problem of designing a controller based on the disturbance cancellation. The conventional loop transfer recovery (LTR) technique can not be used since the extended system consisting of the plant and the disturbance model is not necessarily stabilizable. We propose a new LTR technique that can be applied for our problem. As a target of the LTR, we choose a state feedback controller using a disturbance estimator. We find an LTR procedure based on the Riccati equation formalism where the stochastic model contains the filter gain matrix of the disturbance estimator in the target.   • This paper develops an aero engine LPV mathematical model to exactly describe aero engine dynamic process characteristics, eliminate the effect of modeling error. Design FDF with eigenstructure assignment. The simulation results of turbofan engine control system sensor fault show that this method has good performance in focusing discrimination in fault signal with modeling eror, enhancing the robustness to unknown input, detecting accuracy is high and satisfiying real-time requirement.
