  • Recently, various wearable personal devices such as a smart watch have been developed and these personal devices are being miniaturized. The user desires to receive new services from personal devices as well as services that have been received from personal computers, anytime and anywhere. However, miniaturization of devices involves constraints on resources such as limited input and output and insufficient power. In order to solve these resource constraints, this paper proposes a resource collaboration system which provides a service by composing sharable resources in the resource sharing environment like IoT. the paper also propose a method to infer and recommend user-customized resources among various sharable resources. For this purpose, the paper defines an ontology for resource inference. This paper also classifies users behavior types based on a user model and then uses them for resource recommendation. The paper implements the proposed method as a prototype system on a personal device with limited resources developed for resource collaboration and shows the effectiveness of the proposed method by evaluating user satisfaction.

  • The energy-efficient design of sensing-based spectrum sharing of a multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) cognitive radio (CR) system with imperfect multiple antenna spectrum sensing is investigated in this study. Optimal resource allocation strategies, including sensing time and power allocation schemes, are studied to maximize the energy efficiency (EE) of the secondary base station under the transmit power and interference power constraints. EE problem is formulated as a nonlinear stochastic fractional programming of a nonconvex optimal problem. The EE problem is transformed into its equivalent nonlinear parametric programming and solved by one-dimension search algorithm. To reduce searching complexity, the search range was founded by demonstration. Furthermore, simulation results confirms that an optimal sensing time exists to maximize EE, and shows that EE is affected by the spectrum detection factors and corresponding constraints.

  • In order to solve the conflict problem between the ride comfort and the road holding, the optimal design of shock absorber that minimizes the r.m.s. of sprung mass vertical acceleration and pitch rate with the understeer characteristics constraints in the high speed stability is proposed. The design of experiments and the nonlinear optimization algorithm are used together to obtain the optimal design of shock absorber. The second order regression models of the input variables(front and rear damping coefficients) and the output variables (ride comfort index and road holding one) are obtained by the central composite design in the design of experiments. Then the optimal design of shock absorber can be systematically adjusted with applying the nonlinear optimization algorithm to the obtained second order regression model. The frequency response analysis of sprung mass acceleration and pitch rate shows the effectiveness of the proposed optimal design of shock absorber in the sprung mass resonance range with the understeer characteristics constraints.

  • A GA-based optimization technique is adopted in the paper to obtain optimal future control inputs for predictive control systems. For reliable future predictions of a process, we identify the underlying process with an NNARX model structure and investigate to reduce the volume of neural network based on the Lipschitz index and a criterion. Since most industrial processes are subject to their constraints, we deal with the input-output constraints by modifying some genetic operators and/or using a penalty strategy in the GAPC. Some computer simulations are given to show the effectiveness of the GAPC method compared with the adaptive GPC algorithm.

  • In this paper, an extension of model predictive controller for nonlinear process using Takagi-Sugeno(TS) fuzzy model is proposed Since the consequent parts of TS fuzzy model comprise linear equations of input and output variables. it is locally linear, and the Generalized Predictive Control(GPC) technique which has been developed to control Linear Time Invariant(LTI) plants, can be extended as a parallel distributed controller. Also fuzzy soft constraints are introduced to handle both equality and inequality constraints in a unified form. So the traditional constrained GPC can be transferred to a standard fuzzy optimization problem. The proposed method conciliates the advantages of the fuzzy modeling with the advantages of the constrained predictive control, and the degree of freedom is increased in specifying the desired process behavior.

  • Block Matching Motion Estimation(BMME) Algorithm is demands a very large amount of computing power and have been proposed many fast algorithms. These algorithms are many problem that larger size of VLSI scale due to non-localized search block data and problem of non-reuse of input data for each processing step. In this paper, we designed systolic arry of high processing capacity, constraints input output pin size and reuse of input data for small VLSI size. The proposed systolic array is optimized memory access time because of iterative reuse of input data on search block and become independent of problem size due to increase of algorithm's parallelism and total processing elements connection is localized spatial and temporal. The designed systolic array is reduced O(N6) time complexity to O(N3) on moving vector and has O(N) input/output pin size.

  • Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is considered a key candidate technology for next-generation wireless communication systems due to its high spectral efficiency and massive connectivity. Incorporating the concepts of multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) into NOMA can further improve the system efficiency, but the hardware complexity increases. This study develops an energy-efficient (EE) subchannel assignment framework for MIMO-NOMA systems under the quality-of-service and interference constraints. This framework handles an energy-efficient co-training-based semi-supervised learning (EE-CSL) algorithm, which utilizes a small portion of existing labeled data generated by numerical iterative algorithms for training. To improve the learning performance of the proposed EE-CSL, initial assignment is performed by a many-to-one matching (MOM) algorithm. The MOM algorithm helps achieve a low complex solution. Simulation results illustrate that a lower computational complexity of the EE-CSL algorithm helps significantly minimize the energy consumption in a network. Furthermore, the sum rate of NOMA outperforms conventional orthogonal multiple access.

  • One of the problems faced in implementing cellular manufacturing systems is machine-part group formation. This paper proposes machine-part grouping algorithms based on Self-Organizing Map(SOM) neural networks and K-Means algorithm in cellular manufacturing systems. Although the SOM spreads out input vectors to output vectors in the order of similarity, it does not always find the optimal solution. We rearrange the input vectors using SOM and determine the number of groups. In order to find the number of groups and grouping efficacy, we iterate K-Means algorithm changing k until we cannot obtain better solution. The results of using the proposed approach are compared to the best solutions reported in literature. The computational results show that the proposed approach provides a powerful means of solving the machine-part grouping problem. The proposed algorithm Is applied by simple calculation, so it can be for designer to change production constraints.

  • It is not so easy to control the wheeled mobile robot because of some causes like non-holonomic constraints. To overcome these problems, a controller that PD system is combined with fuzzy process is composed of several steps that have each separate algorithm and niche search algorithm and immune algorithm is applied partly. Output term set is changed by search that is performed to get optimal elements and then the rule base is also reformed. The fitness for the altered system is estimated and the surplus elements are removed. After the adjustment of output term set and rule base is finished, input and output membership functions is tuned.
