The study aims to analyze the theoretical background of the economic growth and sustainable development; systematization of scientists view on monitoring and economic and innovative evaluation, analysis and diagnosis of factors affecting these processes. Rating characteristics of the level of innovative resources development obtained based on the comparative analysis of Kazakhstan regions. Calculations were done based on official statistics during 2010 and 2015-2017. Based on obtained data there has been grading of the country regions and their ratings were determined by the level of development of innovative resources. This research identifies areas and mechanisms to ensure balanced sustainable development of the national economy. The findings suggest that sustainable development of the state is affected by the innovative activity of the regions, the sustainable development of which is ensured by innovative enterprises. Transition to the model of sustainable territorial development involves the formation of such conditions and the use of mechanisms under which the natural base of this development is not destroyed, the environment suitable for human existence is preserved and reproduced. The findings of this research support for pursuing a national policy of reducing regional imbalances, and promoting a more balanced and sustainable development of the whole country.

The objectives of this research paper are to identify the types of the firm's new product development strategy and their characteristics about business strategy, to examine the effect of each type on new product outcomes, and to explore the contingency variable influencing the relationship between these types and new product outcomes. The result of the research are summarized as follows : First, in terms of both the resource allocation for product innovativeness and technology acquisition method, this study suggests 9 types of the firm's new product development strategies- Type 1 (pursuing low innovative products/relying on external technology), Type 2 (pursuing low innovative products oriented/relying on internal technology), Type 3 (pursuing low innovative products/relying on mixed technology), Type 4 (pursuing high innovative products/relying on internal technology), Type 6(pursuing high innovative products /relying on mixed technology), Type 7 (balancing low and high innovative products/relying on external technology), Type 8 (balancing low and high innovative products/relying on internal technology), Type 9 (balancing low and high innovative products/relying on mixed technology). Second, these 9 types are deeply associated with the firm's business strategic variables such as product differentiation and market differentiation, and exhibit different level of both technical and commercial performance of new products. Finally, the effects of these types on new product outcomes are different according to industrial environment and firms' characteristics with respect to size and technological capability.

Within the article, forms of innovation structures are systematized, and those that exist in Ukraine are identified, their features, purpose and functions are clarified, activities and current state of their functioning are analyzed. It is proved that in the conditions of digital economy, domestic innovation structures are underdeveloped and do not fulfill their leading role at the present stage of innovative development of the country. To understand the importance of effective operation of innovation infrastructure, the main world models of innovation development are considered, and the directions of using the experience of their functioning for Ukraine are determined. The main indicators of innovation activity of Ukraine in the context of regions are analyzed. There is a significant differentiation of innovation indicators in the regional context. The cartographic analysis of innovative activity of regions is presented. The mechanism of definition and implementation of priority directions of innovative activity in the context of the digital economy development is offered.

전국의 10개 지역에서 건설되는 혁신도시(지구) 중에서 많은 광주와 전남의 공동혁신도시는 중앙부처 및 관련 전문가 집단으로부터 매우 모범적인 사례로 평가받고 있다. 이런 측면에서 본 연구는 광주시와 전남도가 공동으로 혁신도시를 건설하게 된 배경과 입지선정 과정에 나타난 특징을 고찰하는 것이다. 공동혁신도시 건설은 광주시장과 전남도지사의 리더쉽, 광주와 전남의 상생발전을 염원하는 지역주민의 사회적 합의, 공동혁신도시의 장점을 확산시킨 혁신주체들의 노력 등이 결합된 결과였다. 공동혁신도시의 입지선정과정은 광주전남지역혁신협의회가 추진주체가 되어 진행되었고, 입지선정위원회에서 나주시 금천지역이 제1순위로 선정되었다. 광주 전남의 신도시 건설구상은 성장거점의 기능과 역할 확대, 규모 경제의 확보와 도시자체의 자생력 확보, 건설비용 절감과 도시개발의 효율성 제고, 공공기관 종사자들에게 대한 유인책, 광주 전남의 공동발전에 미치는 효과, 공동의 지역발전을 위한 협력체제 구축 등이라는 측면에서 지역사회에서 중요한 의미를 갖게 될 것으로 기대된다.

The relevance of the topic is determined by the existence of inconsistencies between economic and environmental aspects of innovative development of urban logistics infrastructure, as well as the conflict of public, state and private commercial interests in this issue. The purpose of the article is to determine the principles and effective tools for innovative development of urban logistics infrastructure, taking into account pandemic constraints. The influence of the environmental aspect on the dynamics of transport flows was analyzed in detail and characterized, the scheme of determining the optimal solution for the development of the city was proposed considering the compromise between economic and ecological interests of society, state and business entities. A scheme of innovative development of urban logistics infrastructure under pandemic constraints was also developed. Materials of the article are relevant for developers of city plans, managers of urban logistics infrastructure, employees of enterprises participating in transport and logistics markets, scientists, and doctoral students.

The main purpose of the study is to determine information and communication technologies for the innovative development of tourism training in higher education institutions in the context of COVID-19. Innovative development is associated with the rejection of well-known cliches, stereotypes in teaching, upbringing and personal development, creates new standards for personal-creative, individually directed tourism activities, develops pedagogical technologies implemented in this activity. As a result, the main aspects of information and communication technologies for the innovative development of tourist training in higher education institutions in the context of COVID-19 were characterized.

A design study was performed to improve the limit aseismic performance (LSP) of a primary heat transport system (PHTS) pump. This pump is part of the primary equipment of a prototype generation IV sodium-cooled fast reactor (PGSFR). The LSP is the maximum allowable seismic load that still ensures structural integrity. To calculate the LSP of the PHTS pump, a structural analysis model of the pump was developed and its dynamic characteristics were obtained by modal analysis. The floor response spectrum (FRS) initiated from a safety shutdown earthquake (SSE), 0.3 g, was applied to the support points of the PHTS pump, and then the seismic induced stresses were calculated. The structural integrity was evaluated according to the ASME code, and the LSP of the PHTS pump was calculated from the evaluation results. Based on the results of the modal analysis and LSP of the PHTS pump, design parameters affecting the LSP were selected. Then, ways to improve the LSP were proposed from sensitivity analysis of the selected design variables.

The purpose of this study is to explore the key elements of the regional innovative milieu by analyzing the role of regional innovative elements and case organizations that promoted the emergence of 'Songakdongnesaramdeul (the people of the Songak town),' and to present pertinent policy implications. For the purpose, this study set the "Songakdongnesaramdeul," a residential community organization founded for regional innovation to revitalize the village community, as a case organization from the perspective of regional innovation system theory. The result of the study showed that creating an innovative milieu through the creation of various innovation elements to revitalize the village community is crucial. Especially, this study confirmed that the existence of regional development organizations is the key element of the innovative milieu. such as case organization that contributes to regional development while promoting interaction between actors, common learning and systemization, and new value creation activities. The implications derived through the study can be summarized in four points. First, a variety of means to promote the formation of subjects in response to the public debate of the village agenda is needed. Second, it is highly important to create innovative elements, for example, organizations and programs, resources, and spaces that promote regional innovation. Third, forming a close network between various innovative resources existing in the region and establishing regional capabilities that allow to mobilize and utilize such innovative resources are important. Fourth, the establishment of a promotion mechanism such as a case organization is suggested as a major task, to revitalize the village community. Specifically, forming and revitalizing numerous private-based community organizations with regional developmental capabilities to establish local governance also has significant importance. In this vein, based on the point of view of the regional innovation system theory, the establishment of regional policies to construct a regional innovation milieu, such as creating innovative elements that can actively promote the regeneration of the village community and establishing a promotion system, can be presented as major tasks.

The article examines the economic essence and approaches to determining the efficiency of the enterprise. The author in the study considers the effectiveness and from the standpoint of qualitative analysis of the effectiveness of change and implementation of enterprise development goals. It is established that the tool for ensuring qualitative impacts on the efficiency of the enterprise is the innovative development of the economic space of the enterprise. The article considers the dominant innovations that have influenced the means and methods of production. An organizational and economic mechanism has been recommended to coordinate the costs of innovation activities in order to ensure the efficiency of enterprises. The object of management in the organizational and economic mechanism is the innovation process in the enterprise: from the design of strategic goals of innovation, search and commercialization of innovations, to building and implementing innovation potential. The efficiency of the enterprise under the condition of realization of innovative potential will be characterized by steady competitive advantages and strategically-oriented behavior in the market.

An existing risk diagnosing methodology (RDM) diagnoses corporate risk for product-innovation projects. However, it cannot evaluate and compare the risk levels of multiple alternatives in the product development stage. This paper proposes a modified risk diagnosis method to fill the gap of risk evaluation in selections of innovative product alternatives and the application of the method will be also illustrated by a case problem on alternative selections in electrical dimmer designs. With RDM as the foundation, a modified RDM (MRDM) is proposed to deal with the problem of selecting innovative project alternatives during the early stages of product development. The Bayesian network; a probabilistic graphical model, is adopted to support the risk pre-assessment stage in the MRDM. The MRDM is proposed by incorporating the risk pre-assessment stage into the foundation. By evaluating the engineering design risks in two electrical dimmer switches, an application of the MRDM in product innovation development is successfully exemplified. This paper strengthens the existing methodology for RDM in innovative product development projects to accommodate innovative alternatives. It is advantageous for companies to identify and measure the risks associated in product development so as to plan for appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
