This study is design ed to assess Information Technology (IT) acceptance models among Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the revised TAM using structural equation modeling. Research results show that the revised TAM with perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and IT usage variables is slightly outperformed TPB and TAM. From a managerial standpoint, the findings of this study reveal that in order to foster IT usage, it is important to encourage a positive perceived ease of use and usefulness.

This paper presents the necessary elements and data flow in developing a monitoring system of energy usage for apartment houses with a Smart TV. Energy consumption data in each home are collected and analyzed in the HUB station by way of measuring instruments. And the amount of energy usage, such as electricity, gas, hot water, heating, water and other utilities are displayed through the Smart TV application. Energy consumption Database in the HUB station are processed and displayed in the browser of a Smart TV through XML, JAVASCRIPT and Flash. Smart TV users can get the energy consumption status through the energy consumption analysis display of the Smart TV application and improve the energy efficiency by comparing the usage patterns with neighboring houses. And the application display energy usage information, consumption ranking, rates to user as well. Furthermore, usage of last month or year can be compared to help to reduce the energy usage. The proposed system can provide the information about the amount of energy use to be reduced and the warning on the waste of energy.

This paper aims to analyse the factors influencing the implementation of smart factories and their performance after implementation, using the grounded theory analysis method based on interview data. The research subjects were 21 companies that were selected by the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Group under the SME Technology Information Promotion Agency in 2020-2021 as the best case smart factory implementation companies, and introduced the intermediate stage 1 or above. A total of 87 concepts were generated as a result of the analysis. We were able to classify them into 16 detailed categories, and finally derived six broad categories. These six categories are "motivation for adoption", "adoption context", "adoption level", "technology adoption", "usage effect" and "management effect". As a result of the overall structure analysis, it was found that the adoption level of smart factory is determined by the adoption motivation, the IT technology experience affects the adoption level, the adoption level determines the usage and usage satisfaction, internal and external training affects the usage and usage satisfaction, and the performance or results obtained by the usage and usage are reduced defect rate, improved delivery rate and improved productivity. This study was able to derive detailed variables of environmental factors and technical characteristics that affect the adoption of smart factories, and explore the effects on the usage effects and management effects according to the level of adoption. Through this study, it is possible to suggest the direction of adoption according to the characteristics of SMEs that want to adopt smart factories.

As the more web contents are available through the internet, relative importance of electronic resources in the library collection has gradually increased. While several measurement criteria are used for the effective collection development, the usage statistics is generally accepted as the key factor to assess the retention and cancellation of electronic resources. In this paper it was examined the roles and problems inherent in the electronic journals usage statistics, and then the quality of electronic journal usage reporting services provided by several publishers were evaluated, following the ICOLC and COUNTER guidelines. To apply the usage statistics of electronic journal on the library collection development, it is necessary that libraries, related association and publishers accomplish more consistent and practical usage statistics components. And it is recommended that publisher and aggregator accommodate the guideline for electronic journal usage report.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of clothing involvement and internet usage on internet shopping attitude and internet purchase of clothing products. The subjects used for the study were 210 male and 338 female college students. The clothing involvement consisted of pleasure/interest, symbolism/expression, and perceived risk factors. The internet usage consisted of information and entertainment uses. The internet shopping attitude had convenience and security factors. The results showed that there were positive relationships between clothing involvement factors and internet shopping attitude factors. Regarding the relationship between internet usage and internet shopping attitude, there was a positive relationship between internet information use and internet attitude for convenience while there was a positive relationship between internet entertainment use and internet attitude for security. According to clothing involvement and internet usage, the respondents were segmented by four groups. The results showed that these segmented groups were different in regard to internet shopping attitude, internet purchase, and demographics. For example, symbolishm/internet information use group considered internet shopping more convenient and purchased clothing more frequently through internet than did other groups. The implications of the study were discussed.

The proliferating use of e-journals has led increasing interest in collecting and analyzing usage statistic information. However, the existing manual method and simple journal usage reports provided by publishers hinder the effective collection of large-scale usage statistics and the comprehensive/in-depth analysis on them. Thus we have proposed a hybrid automatic method of collecting e-journal usage statistics based on screen scraping and SUSHI protocol. In addition, the generation method of summary statistics presented in graphs, charts and tables has been suggested in this study. By utilizing the suggested system and analysis data, librarians can compose various reports on budget or operation of the libraries.

The purpose of the study is to understand the present state of practical use of electronic journal usage statistics at the academic libraries. For this purpose the study performed an online questionnaire survey to the 63 academic libraries located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Based on the 48 responses, the study found out that the rate of satisfaction with the present usage data was low. Especially the rate of unsatisfaction with the absence of comparable data and the average usage rate of all the subscribing libraries appeared high. The study also examined 5 types of statistics for the evaluation of electronic journal.

This study examines the factors influencing internet protocol television (IPTV) usage intention. Using Davis's technology acceptance model (TAM) and DeLone and McLean's model of information system success, this study investigates the effects of information system quality (information quality, system quality, and service quality) and media quality on IPTV use in terms of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and usage intention. We examined the proposed model by employing structural equation modeling and survey data from 222 IPTV users. The results indicate that information quality, service quality, and media quality had significant effects on perceived usefulness and that information quality and media quality had significant effects on perceived ease of use. However, system quality had no effect on perceived usefulness or perceived ease of use. In addition, perceived ease of use influenced perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influenced IPTV usage intention. Further, the stability and reliability of IPTV services encouraged IPTV use, and successful IPTV services showed high media quality.

In Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), attackers can speculate and mine sensitive user information by eavesdropping wireless channel status and offloading usage pattern, leading to user privacy leakage. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a Privacy-preserving and Energy-efficient Offloading Algorithm (PEOA) based on Lyapunov optimization. In this method, a continuous Markov process offloading model with a buffer queue strategy is built first. Then the amount of privacy of offloading usage pattern in wireless channel is defined. Finally, by introducing the Lyapunov optimization, the problem of minimum average energy consumption in continuous state transition process with privacy constraints in the infinite time domain is transformed into the minimum value problem of each timeslot, which reduces the complexity of algorithms and helps obtain the optimal solution while maintaining low energy consumption. The experimental results show that, compared with other methods, PEOA can maintain the amount of privacy accumulation in the system near zero, while sustaining low average energy consumption costs. This makes it difficult for attackers to infer sensitive user information through offloading usage patterns, thus effectively protecting user privacy and safety.
