Data Exchange of Initial Hull Form and Compartment Information with CAD system using STEP (STEP을 이용한 초기 선형 및 구획정보의 범용CAD 시스템으로의 데이터 교환 방법)

  • In this parer, a protocol system is developed, which automates the sequential procedure that transforms the information of compartment generated by SIKOB, the calculation program of ship design, to the STEP format which is used as the input data of next level of ship design. The schemata representing hull form and compartment are constructed. The STEP physical files are made by instancing these schemata using the results of SIKOB. They are transmitted to the CAD system and then worked on the CAD system. It means that they could be used as the data of next level of ship design.

  • In the design of some systems, the circumstance may require a determination as to whether a giver information input or processing function can best be performed by an individual or by some physical components of a system. In the consideration of human factors, also, in the design of equipment, facilities, and other physical items that people use, there are certain basic stages or processes that typically have to be carried out. The main purpose of this paper is study fundamental man-machine system assumptions in Human Factors Engineering. Therefore, this paper will deal with certain human factors that may be relevant to the design consideration that relate to human information - receiving and processing functions.

Design & Implementation of Enhanced Groupware Messenger

  • In this paper, we present some problems with the Groupware Messenger functionality based on dot net 2.0 and implement a new design structure to solve them. They include memory leakage, slow processing, and client window memory crash. These problems resulted in the inconvenience of using instant messaging and the inefficient handling of office tasks. Therefore, in this paper, instant messaging functionality is implemented according to a new design architecture. The new system upgrades dot net 4.5 for clients and deploys the new features based on MQTT for the messenger server. We verify that the memory leak problem and client window memory crash issues have been eliminated on the system with the new messenger functionality. We measure the amount of time it takes to bind data to a set of messages and evaluate the performance, compared to a given system. Through this comparative evaluation, we can see that the new system is more reliable and performing.

  • The success of gCRM depends on the availability of adequate, real-time data about customers' location and the provision of diverse value-added services utilizing it. In the existing gCRM systems, however, it seems that the positional precision of customers' location is very low, and further that the services based on real-time location data are not provided. In order to overcome these weaknesses and extend the limited scope of gCRM, we suggest a new design of gCRM system integrated with LBS. We also describe in some detail the system prototype for such an integration.

  • Floating point unit system follows IEEE 754 Standard. In this paper, we used 1's complement system instead of 2's complement to practice the arithmetic. By converting we enable this system to compute simply and fast. To improve the speed of newly design adder, we used a transformation Carry selector adder of 53 bits. In paper, a design of floating point unit high efficiency micro processor system about for high speed.

  • In this paper, we design a small low power single channel ECG(Electrocardiogram) system of Chest Belt type with fiber-type electrodes to measure emotional state change of game addict. HRV(Heart Rate Variability) is analyzed through heart rate signal measurement and the psychological stress state is judged by using it. And it verifies its effectiveness through prototype. First, we design HR measurement module through low power MCU(Micro Controller Unit) and implement prototype level measurement system. The results showed that the difference between the addiction group and the general group was confirmed and that the system was effective. The result of this study can be used for health management such as reduction of stress of the user through music and breathing that lowers the stress by detecting the stress state of the general person or the chronic ill person.

  • In this paper, we developed the cyber campus which is a internet based virtual education system. This system is designed by using the client/server architecture and server push mechanism. The basic design tool is mini SQL and PERL for design and implementation. Developed system is tested on the site of Honam university(cybercam.honam.ac.kr) and confirmed its performance. This tool will be very useful as a distance education method for every school and educational agency under the internet environment.

  • XML is standard of web document, and is used in language for document data exchange. XML document is used as example that change existing document to XML or makes new document by XML increases and XML search system to search XML document efficiently accordingly is requiring. This paper describes design and implementation of query processing system for translating XML elements and data between XML documents and relational database and consist of XML to DB processor, DB to XML processor and XML document management processor. Through this, described for design and embodiment of efficient XML document search system of JAVA base using XQL that is proposed in language of quality of XML document.

  • In order to reuse a register transfer level (RTL)-based IP block, it takes another architectural exploration in which the RTL will be put, and it also takes virtual platforms to develop the driver and applications software. Due to the increasing demands of new technology, the hardware and software complexity of organizing embedded systems is growing rapidly. Accordingly, the traditional design methodology cannot stand up forever to designing complex devices. In this paper, I introduce an electronic system level (ESL)-based approach to designing complex hardware with a derivative of SystemVerilog. I adopted the concept of reuse with higher levels of abstraction of the ESL language than traditional HDLs to design multiplication server farms. Using the concept of ESL, I successfully implemented server farms as well as a test bench in one simulation environment. It would have cost a number of Verilog/C simulations if I had followed the traditional way, which would have required much more time and effort.

A Study on DC-DC Converter Development for LRT Wireless Power Supply

  • In this paper, we have proposed the development of DC-DC converter for LRT power supply. First of all, we have studied converter technology, main functions and characteristics were determined. In also, the converter design was carried out to meet the system design conditions. Based on this design, converter simulation is performed to enable stable charging and discharging of the vehicle system. We have performed the Light-load test according to charge mode, discharge mode. As a result, the manufactured converter performance was verified through the load test, and it's stability was confirmed.
