  • Current paradigm of industrial security is changing into the effective operation and management from simple establishment of security equipments. If the physical security system(entry control system, video security system, etc.) and the IT integrated security control system are conversed, it makes us possible to prevent, disrupt and track afterwards the insider's information leakage through the risk and security management of enterprise. That is, Without the additional expansion of the existing physical security and IT security manpower, the establishment of systematic conversion security management process in a short time is possible and can be expected the effective operation of professional organization system at all times. Now it is needed to build up integrated security management system as an individual technique including the security event collection and integrated management, the post connected tracking management in the case of security accident, the pattern definition and real time observation of information leakage and security violation, the rapid judgement and response/measure to the attempt of information leakage and security violation, the establishment of security policy by stages and systematically and conversion security.

  • The cause of privacy extrusion in credit card company at 2014 is usage of the original data in test system. By Electronic banking supervision regulations of the Financial Supervisory Service and Information Security business best practices of Finance information technology (IT) sector, the data to identify the customer in the test system should be used to convert. Following this guidelines, Financial firms use converted customer identificaion data by loading in test system. However, there is some risks that may be introduced unintentionally by user mistake or lack of administrative or technical security in the process of testing. also control and risk management processes for those risks did not studied. These situations are conducive to increasing the compliance violation possibility of supervisory institution. So in this paper, we present and prove the process to eliminate the compliance violation possibility of supervisory institution by controlling and managing the unidentified conversion customer identification data and check the effectiveness of the process.

  • The purpose of a data leakage prevention system is to protect corporate information assets. The system monitors the packet exchanges between internal systems and the Internet, filters packets according to the data security policy defined by each company, or discretionarily deletes important data included in packets in order to prevent leakage of corporate information. However, the problem arises that the system may monitor employees' personal information, thus allowing their privacy to be violated. Therefore, it is necessary to find not only a solution for detecting leakage of significant information, but also a way to minimize the leakage of internal users' personal information. In this paper, we propose two models for representing the level of personal information disclosure during data leakage detection. One model measures only the disclosure frequencies of keywords that are defined as personal data. These frequencies are used to indicate the privacy violation level. The other model represents the context of privacy violation using a private data matrix. Each row of the matrix represents the disclosure counts for personal data keywords in a given time period, and each column represents the disclosure count of a certain keyword during the entire observation interval. Using the suggested matrix model, we can represent an abstracted context of the privacy violation situation. Experiments on the privacy violation situation to demonstrate the usability of the suggested models are also presented.

  • This study aims to examine organization members' intention to violate security policies based on the Person-Environment Fit Model. This study investigated the effect of the relationship between organizational security environment and the individual security value on the intention of organizational security policy violation. The security environments are classified into the organizational information security culture and peers' behavior of security compliance, while the personal values are classified into reconstructing the conduct, distorting the consequence, and devaluing the organization as presented in the moral disengagement theory. Based on the concept of the moral disengagement theory, we measured the individual security values as a second order factor. This study found that the information security culture had a statistically significant impact on devaluing the organization, but did not have as much impact on reconstructing the conduct and distorting the consequence. Peers' behavior of security compliance had a significant impact on reconstructing the conduct, distorting the consequence and devaluing the organization, all of which also had relevant impact on the organizational members' intention of security policy violation. This study measured a persons' perception on security policy breach by presenting scenarios of password sharing that is common in many organizations. This study is expected to make practical contributions, as it deals with challenges that many organizations are actually faced with.

  • Most of the sources of security and privacy issues in RFID technology arise from the violation of the air interface between a tag and its reader. This paper will approach the security risk analysis is process from the perspective of the RFID tag life cycle, identify the tag usage processes, identify the associated vulnerability and threat to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets and its implications for privacy, and then mitigate the risks.

  • Traffic violations such as moving while the traffic lights are red have come from a simple omission to a premeditated act. The traffic control center cannot timely monitor all the cameras installed on the roads to trace and pursue those traffic violators. Modern vehicles are equipped and controlled by several sensors in order to support monitoring and reporting those kind of behaviors which some time end up in severe causalities. However, such applications within the vehicle environment need to provide security guaranties. In this paper, we address the limitation of previous work and present a secure and privacy preserving protocol for traffic violation reporting system in vehicular cloud environment which enables the vehicles to report the traffic violators, thus the roadside clouds collect those information which can be used as evidence to pursue the traffic violators. Particularly, we provide the unlinkability security property within the proposed protocol which also offers lightweight computational overhead compared to previous protocol. We consider the concept of conditional privacy preserving authentication without pairing operations to provide security and privacy for the reporting vehicles.

  • Compliance with information security policies has been an important managerial concern in organizations. Unlike traditional general deterrent theory, this study proposes whistle-blowing as an alternative approach for reducing internal information security policy violations. We build on the theories of planned behavior and rational choice as well as develop a theoretical model to understand the factors that influence whistle-blowing attitudes and intention at both the organizational and individual levels. Our empirical results reveal that altruistic and egoistic concerns are involved in the development of whistle-blowing attitudes. The results not only extend our understanding of whistle-blowing motivation but also offer directions to managers in promoting internal disclosure of information security breaches.

  • Recently, increasing security threats are not only interfering with business continuity of companies but they are al so causing serious problems on social and national levels. As violation of intellectual property rights increases due to growing competition between different companies and countries, companies are now required to follow various IT compliance regulations, under relevant legal obligations. This study proposed a model of convergence security compliance management by using machine learning, in order to help companies actively utilize IT compliance.

  • A security system in Android OS adopts sandbox and an permission model. In particular, the permission model operates the confirmation of installation time and all-or-nothing policy. Accordingly, the Android OS requires a user agreement for permission when installing an application, however there is very low level of user awareness for the permission. In this paper, the current status of permission requirement within mobile apps will be discovered, and the key inspection list with an appropriate method, when a mobile service provider autonomously inspects the violation of least privilege around financial companies, and its usefulness will be explored.
