  • Named-Data Networking (NDN) is one of the promising approaches for the Future Internet to cope with the explosion and current usage pattern of Internet traffic. Content provider mobility in the NDN allows users to receive real-time traffic when the content providers are on the move. However, the current solutions for managing these mobile content providers suffer several issues such as long handover latency, high cost, and non-optimal routing path. In this paper, we survey main approaches for provider mobility in NDN and propose an optimal scheme to support the mobile content providers in the large-scale NDN domain. Our scheme predicts the movement of the provider and uses state information in the NDN forwarding plane to set up an optimal new routing path for mobile providers. By numerical analysis, our approach provides NDN users with better service access delay and lower total handover cost compared with the current solutions.

  • Concerns have been growing about whether domestic internet protocol television (IPTV) can establish a solid foothold in the pay TV market, largely because of the lack of IPTV-only content and service differentiation. It has been difficult for IPTV providers to attract valuable PPs (program providers) to strengthen their positions, and IPTV providers have invested much money into procuring content. To survive this difficult situation, IPTV providers need to reappraise their profit sharing methods and content distribution structure to facilitate the expansion of their subscriber base. This can be done by attracting valuable PPs to IPTV providers and securing extra revenue by distributing more content for their PP partners. The IPTV industry has a different structure and value chain from the digital cable industry. Moreover, profit sharing schemes among participants in the IPTV industry are complicated. Thus it is essential to analyze the criteria for profit sharing, the selection of attributes in profit sharing, and their cause-effect relationship in developing fair pricing for broadcast content in the IPTV industry. This study introduces the attributes that need to be considered for the pricing of content and profit sharing among IPTV providers and PPs. In addition, this study uses system dynamics to analyze the relationship among those attributes along with additional associated factors for the pricing of content.

Data were collected from individual interviews using open-ended questions. Fifty-six pediatric health care providers participated in the study from January to April 2015. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis to identify the major perceptions of pediatric health care providers. Results: The providers perceived that the concept of family-centered care has been incompletely implemented. Five themes (respecting a child's family, taking care of a child with the child's family, sharing information about children, supporting a child's family, a child's family participating in child care) with 11 sub-themes were identified in the providers' experiences with families. To achieve the goal of family-centered care in pediatrics, medical and nursing conditions must be improved, education about family-centered care must be provided, and improvements should be made in the mindset of health care providers regarding patients and in families' willingness to participate in care. Conclusion: The findings from this study provide insight into pediatric health care providers' perceptions of family-centered care. It will contribute to the establishment of a foundation for implementing family-centered care in pediatric nursing.

  • The key issues of recommendation systems provide the contents satisfying the interests of users for the huge amounts of contents over internet. The existing recommendation system use the algorithms considering the users' profiles and context information to enhance the exactness of a recommendation. However, the existing recommendation system can't satisfy the requirements of service providers because the business models of service providers is not considered. In this paper, we propose the mobile recommendation system using the composite contexts and the recommendation weights applying the business model of service providers. The proposed system retrieves the contents of the contents providers using composite context information and apply the recommendation weights to recommend the suitable contents for the business models of service providers. Therefore, we provide the contents satisfying the consumption value of users and the business models of service providers to mobile users.

  • For Internet service providers (ISPs), there are three common types of interconnection agreements : private peering, public peering and transit. One of the most important problems for a single ISP is to determine which other ISPs to interconnect with, and under which agreements. The problem can be then to find a set of private peering providers, transit providers and Internet exchanges (IXs) when the following input data are assumed to be given : a set of BGP addresses with traffic demands, and a set of potential service providers (Private peering/transit providers and IXs) with routing information, cost functions and capacities. The objective is to minimize the total interconnection cost. We show that the problem is NP-hard, give a mixed-integer programming model, and propose a heuristic algorithm. Computational experience with a set of test instances shows the remarkable performance of the proposed algorithm of rapidly generating near-optimal solutions.

  • Recently the interest in the information privacy has been growing. Digital data can be easily transferred via Internet. Service providers ask users for private data to give customized services. Users believe that their shared data are protected as they deliver their private data securely. However, their private data may be leaked if service providers do not delete or initialize them when they expire. The possibility of information leak may lower if the service providers deal with users' private data properly. In this paper, we study the self-destruction of private data for information privacy and propose the glass-box model.

  • Recently, big data services have been used in various fields. In this situation, this research studied the intention to provide personal information from users, which is necessary to provide useful big data services. A survey was conducted on college students and ordinary people who have understood big data services. And path analysis was performed through Amos' structural equation. As a result of the study, it was found that privacy risks, trust in service providers, individual innovativeness, service incentives, social influence, and service design are major variables influencing the intention to provide personal information. And it was found that trust in service providers plays a mediating role in influencing the intention to provide personal information. In addition, big data services were classified into types for information acquisition and types related to purchase. Accordingly, it was further analyzed whether major variables differ in the path affecting the intention to provide personal information, and new implications were found. Companies that actually develop and provide big data services should establish different strategies by reflecting research results depending on the type of big data service provided.
