OMG's Common Warehouse Metamodel is now a single data warehouse metadata standard. Interchange of metadata between data warehousing tools and metadata repositories made easy and convenient by using CWM. In this paper, we present the origin, importance and architecture of CWM, and offer an application case.

Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) Multimedia Application Format (MAF) [3] specify how to combine the variety of DMB contents with associated information for a presentation in a well-defined format that facilitates interchange, management, editing, and presentation of the DMB contents. The current metadtata specification for DMB MAF [3] is based on TV-Anytime metadata tools. In this paper, we overview the general application scenarios of DMB MAF and then explore the TV-Anytime metadata tools and usage examples proposed for DMB MAF.

The basic concept of an improved business and productivity for Small and Medium Sized Enterprizes, which makes use of an information portal, is to assure competitive power, increase the production quantity through the interchange of a company and the outside environment, and to build cooperation. To reduce the charge of the equipment, as well as to introduce and information program, it should build an information environment from inside the company by suing the information portal ASP(Application Service Provider). This portal is already built by the basic information infrastructure through the Internet.

본 논문은 현재 한글이 인터넷이나 컴퓨터에서 사용이 어렵고, 자판 구도가 불합리하며, 남북 및 세계 표준이 아직 정해지지 않고 있어 정열방식이 불일치와 내부 처리 코드의 상이한 문제점을 가지고 있어 기존의 한글처리로는 부적합한 것들을 종합적으로 해결하기 위하여 새로운 방식을 모색하고, 미래의 방향을 제시할 목적으로 정음부호(OPA : Ortho Phonic Alphabet)의 코드 제안에 따른 기존 KS C 5601과 KS C 5700과의 코드 변환시 문제점과 OPA 표준화를 위해 이 연구를 수행한다.

This paper refers and implements XML Web services, which supports networked interchanges of moving object information. XML Web services are expected to be fundamental building blocks in the move to distributed computing on the Internet. As an interchange format, GML encodes semantics, syntax, and schema of geospatial and geoprocessing-related information resources. It can give great benefits to utilize raw data easily as an XML encoding format does. This paper proposes a full coverage of interoperable location trajectory services consisting of 3 independent modules: a moving object database, a data processing server, and a web services interface module. For communications, SOAP protocols and WSDL documents are used, which can guarantee an interoperability of a system regardless of different platforms and service channels. This paper also designs a GML data format that represents location information of probe cars.

Recently international trade environment has been rapidly changed according to information age. In particular, international trade has been carried out with various ways under the digital revolution. In this regard, the companies are handling their business with the open network internet and doing their critical marketing activities which are very different from the existed trade customs. However, trade-related information database which is necessary to import and export activities is partly built, and there are many issues to be settled down. In other words, electronic trade opportunity website in the field of overseas marketing and customs clearance with EDI(electronic data interchange) are developed, but the database which companies can make use of their businesses is not fully supported. Therefore the structured database should be developed urgently from the stage of opening business to that of payment. This study closely analyzes the databases under the trade procedure, look into the problems of those database and suggest the solutions of trade information databases. Finally this study provides a sort of trade infrastructure for the development of international trade by internet through the building of trade information.

Network security should be first considered in a distributed computing environment with frequent information interchange through internet. Clear classification is needed for information users should protect and for information open outside. Basically proper encrypted database system should be constructed for information security, and security policy should be planned for each site. This paper describes access control, user authentication, and User Security and Encryption technology for the construction of database security system from network users. We propose model of network encrypted database security system for combining these elements through the analysis of operational and technological elements. Systematic combination of operational and technological elements with proposed model can construct encrypted database security system secured from unauthorized users in distributed computing environment.

This study, drawing upon research in innovation theory and Information systems, investigates the relationship among the organizational and innovation characteristics and the extent of internal and external diffusion of EDI in Korean firms. The data for this study were collected from 131 firms that have implemented EDI. The results of the correlation and the multiple regression analysis show that elapsed time and organizational compatibility are the major predictors of EDI diffusion. Specifically, the extent of communication, elapsed time and organizational compatibility are the major predictors of internal diffusion, while centralization, organizational compatibility and elapsed time are closely related to external diffusion of EDI. The results of this study imply that to facilitate the use of EDI widely within and beyond organizations, EDI system should be compatibile with the organizational tasks, values systems and existing information systems.

The library of elementary schools, which plays a role in the basic education to grow a responsible social member in an information society and to develop ability for collection, selection, summary, and utilization of various information, could be considered as new educational center. It should be changed to the establishment of informational education for preparing the information society in 21st century through the functional extension of the conventional library as reading and bookstand. Furthermore, it is necessary of trials that converts to the support system for interchange between establishment and student, for preparing educational system of teaching or studying, and for opening establishment to local communities in the future.

SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) is proper to view, modify and create new electronic document as documentation standard to create and interchange the structured document information. Accordingly, a study on efficient storage and management of very large structured SGML document information is need. This paper proposes design of data modeling based on GROVE(Graph Representation Of property ValuEs) defined in HyTime(Hypermedia Time-based Structuring Language) and describes design of SGML document storage management system.
