As the development of ICT has made it easier to collect various traffic information, research on creating new traffic attributes is drawing attention. Estimation and forecasts of demand and traffic volume are one of the main indicators that are essential to traffic operation, assuming that the traffic pattern at a particular node or link is repeated. Traditionally, a survey method was used to demonstrate this similarity on trip behavior. However, the method was limited to achieving high accuracy with high costs and responses that relied on the respondents' memory. Recently, as traffic data has become easier to gather through ETC system, smart card, studies are performed to identify the regularity of trip in various ways. In, this study, route-level trip data collected in Daegu metropolitan city were analyzed to confirm that individual traveler forms a spatially similar trip chain over several days. For this purpose, we newly define the concept of spatial trip regularity and assess the spatial difference between daily trip chains using the sequence alignment algorithm, Dynamic Time Warping. In addition, we will discuss the applications as the indicators of fixed traffic demand and transportation services.
The purpose of this study is to derive obstacle factors to 'high value vocational training' and to suggest development strategies. The training aims to solve the quantitative and qualitative problems of female employment by providing professional training in high value areas such as ICT, SW and knowledge service. To verify the training to meet these objectives, 48 processes operated in 2018 were analyzed and field monitoring was conducted. As a result of the analysis, problems were identified and improvements were derived in terms of learners management, training course design, field practice operation, and performance evaluation. Based on these results, researchers suggested four ways to develop high value vocational training. First, select learners based on combined talent and second, strengthen the project of linking enterprises and structured field practices. Third, establish a performance evaluation system of its own and manage performance and fourth, expand support for excellent training courses and provide consulting for course development. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for establishing policies for high value occupational training. In the future, quantitative research should be conducted to clarify the performance and problems.
Objective: Mulberry (Morus alba L.) is a cultivated shrub grown widely in the sub-tropical and tropical areas. It has been shown that mulberry leaf contains high levels of protein while having polyphenols as phytonutrients. Therefore, it is important to conduct an experiment to assess potential toxic level from mulberry on behavior, blood hematological and coagulation parameter using Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Methods: Both male and female SD rats were given an intragastric administration of respective treatments of mulberry leaf intakes (control, low and high levels). Parameters of feed intake, hematological and coagulation of blood parameters, as well as liveweight changes were taken during the 7 d of adaptation, 28 d of treatment exposure, and 14 d of recovery periods, respectively. All treatment data were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance of SPSS17.0 for Windows Statistical Software following the Randomized complete block design with sex as a block. Results: Most of the parameters of the physical symptoms of the SD rats, were not significantly different (p>0.05) when compared with that of the control group. Those which remain unchanged in each dose group were, body weight (BW) gain, feed intake, the hematology and coagulation indexes. Although, there were a few individual indicators that were abnormal, but the overall physiological appearance of the rats were normal. Conclusion: Results under this experiment revealed that most hematological and coagulation parameters of the SD rats in both male and female were normal, although the weight gain of female rats in high-dose group was significantly reduced than those of the male rats. Under this study, the use of mulberry leaf up to 2 g/kg BW did not result in abnormal phenomenon in the SD rats. These findings would offer useful information for further in vivo feeding trials in animals to extensively use of mulberry leaf to improve animal production, particularly in P.R. China.
This study is to examine the impact of spatial characteristics of cities on homicide based on spatial econometric model. It selects housing types, racial heterogeneity, residential instability, overcrowding, commercial area, rate of 15 to 29 ages, and rate of the elderly as variables for spatial characteristics of cities. This study employs spatial regression analysis applying the spatial error model to analyze the data from 229 locals collected from Korean Statistical Information Service and Statistical Year Book of local governments. As a result, it shows that homicide has close relationships with apartment and multi-housing as housing types, racial heterogeneity, residential instability, and overcrowding, but not with the commercial area, rate of 15 to 29 ages, and rate of the elderly. The study contributes to expanding understanding and explanation on the causes of homicide focusing on social-structure approach for criminology by analyzing a more advanced model in applying variables than one of existing literature. This study suggests follow-up research on homicide based on both social-behavior approach and social-structure approach in the near future for the development of criminological theory.
The previous studies regarding prosocial behavior have been researched based on donors' personal traits and the effects of donees emotions. However, studies in identifying the effects of regulatory focus as motivational traits and the emotions resulting from donees' expression on prosocial behaviors have not been researched as much thoroughly. Specifically, consumers with prevention-focus perceive fit as the goal attainability process by avoiding negative factors. Thus, it is expected that the intentions of doing a charitable deed greater will more increase when the donees look sad than when they look happy. On the other hand, consumers with promotion-focus perceive fit as the consequential benefits of goal attainability when they are in the condition of a positive emotion. As a result, the intention of doing a charitable deed is expected to be increased greater when the donees have happier faces than sad faces. According to the experimental results, consumers with prevention focus more intended to do a charitable deed when the donees' expression was presented with a sad expression by mediating sadness. On the contrary, consumers with promotion focus show higher intention of doing a charitable deed when the donees looked happier by mediating happy feelings. This study has a theoretical meaningfulness in respect to expanding previous research concerning regulatory focus into donation contexts. Furthermore, this study has practical implications by presenting the donation strategies on information presentations of donees.

In this study, a jointless bridge that integrates the superstructure and abutment without installing an expansion joint was analyzed. An example of a jointless bridge that has been introduced in Korea since 2009. Owing to the short period of use and lack of experience in design, construction, and maintenance, there is insufficient information regarding the long-term behavior of jointless bridges. When analyzing numerous bridges, the numerical analysis model must maintain the numerical values used and ensure the convenience of model construction. In this study, sensitivity analysis was performed to select a numerical model for various types of jointless bridges using commercial finite element programs, MIDAS Civil and ABAQUS 2018. According to a solid element-based model, we analyzed the mean and maximum relative errors between structural models. Consequently, it was found that the beam element-based model exhibits a significantly small relative error in comparison to the shell element, where a relatively large error was recorded. Therefore, the optimal numerical analysis model, a practical model that maintains the similarity and precision of the displacement shape cause by relative error, was judged to be the most suitable for jointless bridges based on the shell element.
The purpose of this study is to prepare basic data to reflect polar literacy education in the school curriculum. The perception about the polar regions, teaching experience, and polar-related cognitive and affective characteristics of teachers were investigated. The survey was conducted among 56 elementary, middle, and high school teachers from schools from 10 major cities and surrounding regions, based on their perceptions of the polar region, current teaching status, polar knowledge, and beliefs and attitudes toward polar region and climate change. Results showed that although teachers' polar information efficacy was low, they positively evaluated the status of educators in resolving polar and climate change problems, and prioritized global citizenship values over practical purposes. The experience of teaching polar region and climate change issues at schools varied across subjects and non-subjects, but showed a passive aspect in teaching development, such as wanting to be provided with consolidated learning materials. On the cognitive aspect, teachers revealed an ambiguous understanding of the mechanisms and processes by which polar change and climate influence each other. On the affective aspect, most teachers showed strong beliefs and attitudes for polar-related issues beyond the school level, but their behavior choices were relatively lower. Based on the results, we propose the following as recommendations: providing opportunities and materials to promote polar knowledge, discovering educational materials in various contexts to form values and attitudes, developing educational materials from polar research materials, identifying misconceptions about polar knowledge among students and teachers, strengthening elementary school teachers' polar literacy, and cultivating positive attitudes and values toward polar issues.

Recently, digital transformation in the financial industry has been accelerated, and it has become an important task to improve the level of utilization of Internet banking by elderly consumers, who are vulnerable to Internet use. Accordingly, this study analyzed 3,101 respondents in their 60s or older from the 11th year of the Media Panel Survey to identify demographic, experiential, and psychological factors that affect the self-efficacy of elderly consumers' usage of Internet banking. The main research findings are as follows. First, gender, education, occupation, and income were identified as demographic variables. Second, the Internet shopping experience was identified as an experiential factor. Also, concerns about information security, digital literacy, and high will for problem-solving were identified as psychological factors. Third, as a result of the moderating effect analysis on whether the experiential and psychological factors have different influences according to the group divided into the 60s and 70s, the effect on self-efficacy in the usage of the Internet was classified by age. The results of this study will be able to enrich the discussions related to the intention to utilize technology among elderly consumers by empirically revealing that there are characteristics that cause differences in financial behavior even within one group called the elderly.

This study is a descriptive research study to confirm the care efficacy and empathy competency of nursing hospital nurses and analyze the factors to improve person-centered care behavior, provide theoretical and practical information accordingly, and prepare basic data. The study collected data from March 20, 2023 to April 20, 2023, targeting 146 nurses at a nursing hospital for the elderly in C region located in G province, and finally analyzed a total of 144 copies. Using IBM SPSS/25, descriptive statistics t-test, ANOVA, and correlation multiple regression analysis were analyzed. As a result of analyzing the variables that affect the subject's person-centered care by hierarchical multiple regression, the higher the caring efficacy and empathy capacity, the more the person-centered care was affected, and the explanatory power was 31.5%. As a result of this study, empathy competency and care efficacy were found to have an effect on person-centered care. It is thought that various measures should be prepared to improve the care efficacy and empathy competency for the efficient nursing performance of person-centered care of nursing hospital nurses.

Although the cable-stayed bridges with two I-type girders inherently do not have good aerodynamic characteristics, a lot of the bridges with this type girders are constructed in Korea recently because of an economical merit. This paper investigated the aerodynamic characteristics of the cable-stayed bridges with two I-type girders. Section model tests were conducted in order to investigate the aerodynamic behaviors of this section with varying of the angles of attack, turbulence intensity and damping ratios. Two deck section configurations with different torsional stiffness were studied under construction and after completion respectively. Three types of the fairings were investigated to improve the aerodynamic characteristics of the bridges. The result of this study showed that the traditional section model test in uniform flow estimates the aerodynamic behavior rather pessimistically. The wind induced responses of the bridges were severely varied in accordance with the turbulence intensity and the structural damping ratio. The proposed fairing reduced the magnitude of the vortex-shedding vibrations and buffeting responses. It also increased the wind speed at which flutter occurs. It is expected that these investigations would provide a lot of information for the design of the cable stayed bridges with two I-type girders regarding wind resistance.
