차세대 전자간호기록 시스템 유스케이스 개발: 업무흐름 분석과 전문가 델파이 기법 적용 (Use Case Development for Next Generation Electronic Nursing Record Systems Utilizing Clinical Workflow Analysis and a Delphi Survey)

  • Purpose: To identify user requirements for electronic nursing record (ENR) systems so as to ensure system usability. Methods: A mixed methods approach were applied in three steps : (i) task and workflow analysis with literature review of nursing documentation, (ii) literature reviews of system usability, and (iii) Use Case idenfication and consensus-based validation. We analyzed the nursing activity logs collected from a time-motion investigation of six hospitals. The Use Cases were validated by eight clinical experts from different hospitals and two experts from academia in a sequential Delphi survey. Consensus was achieved for the significance score and agreement among the panel. Results: Eight task groups and patterns of task flow were observed, which were translated into nine Use Cases. The specification of Use Cases was derived from principles, guidelines, and recommendations on nursing documentation and electronic health record systems, which was organized into three requirements of each Use Case: functionality, information, and design characteristics. Each Use Case achieved an agreement of 50~70%, and significance scores of 4 or 5 on a 5-point Likert scale. Conclusion: The nine Use Case identified were considered to be important and adequate in terms of both clinical and informatics contexts.

국내 전자간호기록 개발 및 실무적용 현황 조사 (The Adoptions and Use of Electronic Nursing Records in Korean Hospitals: Findings of a Nationwide Survey)

  • Purpose: To provide clear estimates of the adoption and use of electronic nursing records (ENRs) with standard terminology in Korea and identification of the scope and use as well as perceived or potential benefits of ENRs. Methods: A survey was done of 733 hospitals at three levels: tertiary advanced hospitals, general hospitals, and community hospitals. After performing a literature review a modified version of an existing survey tool was used for 2 months in 2012. The collected information related to EHR functionality and coverage of nursing documentation and nursing process, application of standard terminology, and perceived satisfaction and benefits of ENRs. Results: The response rate was 39.4% (289/733), and 202 hospitals (70.1%, 95% CI64.8~75.5%) of the respondents had ENR systems (82.5% of tertiary hospitals, 66.7% of general hospitals, and 70.1% of community hospitals). Out of these hospitals less than 10% had ENRs fully covering nursing documentation. The adoption rate of standard terminology was 55%, and hospital satisfaction with ENRs was 70%. But personalized care was identified as needing improvement in ENRs. Conclusion: The ENR adoption rate was high but there are many potential opportunities for improving ENR systems in terms of the data standardization and personalized care.

BPO 제도의 유용성에 관한 연구 -L/C 제도와의 비교를 중심으로- (A Study on the Usefulness of the BPO System - Focusing on Comparison with L/C System -)

  • A BPO is an irrevocable undertaking given by an Obligor Bank acting on behalf of the buyer to a Recipient Bank acting on behalf of the seller to pay on satisfaction of certain specified conditions. There have been a Trade Service Utility(TSU), a Transaction Matching Application(TMA) and ISO 20022 TSMT messages that core electronic technical systems linked to the BPO. As a key usefulness of the BPO, it brings to market an alternative means of satisfying the risk mitigation, financing and information management needs of banks and businesses engaged in trade. That is, corporates can spread the risk among multiple Obligor Banks by requesting multiple BPOs for the same trade transaction not to exceed the value of the initial transaction. Since the BPO replaces the manual document checking process with the electronic matching of data, buyers and sellers will benefit from significantly increased accuracy and objectivity. By using BPO, buyers and sellers can become trusted counterparties by demonstrating reliability and giving sellers the assurance of being paid on time as per the payment terms and conditions agreed. When compared to L/C, the BPO requires submission of data only. This requires a change of practice of those accustomed to dealing with physical documentation. The beneficiary of a BPO is the Recipient Bank which is always the Seller's Bank. In the meantime, banks will need to agree between themselves that the URBPO 750 will be applied, modified or excluded. However, customers of banks will face low transactional costs due to a fully automated process and standardized data formats used in international trade documentation. There is no amendment and cancellation rules in the URBPO 750s, but only have Assignment of Proceeds rules. As a result, the BPO is likely to enable new business opportunities, lower costs, fast transaction process and strengthen key customer relationships.

  • 기업에서는 급속한 컴퓨터 환경 변화 및 사용자 요구 증가 등의 요구들에 대응하기 위하여 많은 시간과 비용을 들여 기 개발되어 운영중인 시스템을 유지보수 한다. 하지만 대부분 임시적인 이러한 작업들은 많은 코드의 중복과 최적화 되지 않은 시스템 구조를 산출하여 결국에는 전체적인 성능 저하를 가져오는 등의 문제를 발생시키게 된다. 또한 초기 개발 후 다른 개발자에 의해 작성된 코드는 개발관련 문서의 분실 및 부족, 기존 시스템 개발자의 부재 등의 문제로 코드의 이해와 재사용의 어려움 등의 한계점을 갖게 되었다. 이번 연구는 이러한 코드 재사용의 한계를 극복하기 위하여 객체단위를 재사용 할 수 잇는 객체지향 기반의 Refactoring 프로세스를 제시하고, 이를 D사에서 개발한 윈도우 시스템 개발 도구인 D2D에 적용한다. 또한 이의 과정에서 얻어진 시스템 성능 향상과 개발 및 유지보수 비용의 감소, 구조와 클래스들의 최적화 등의 실제적인 효과 증대 사례를 보인다.

Seismic vulnerability of old confined masonry buildings in Osijek, Croatia

  • This paper deals with 111 buildings built between 1962 and 1987, from various parts of the city of Osijek, for which, through the collection of documentation, a database is created. The aim of this paper is to provide the first steps in assessing seismic risk in Osijek applying method based on vulnerability index. This index uses collected information of parameters of the building: the structural system, the construction year, plan, the height, i.e., the number of stories, the type of foundation, the structural and non-structural elements, the type and the quality of main construction material, the position in the block and built-up area. According to this method defining five damage states, the action is expressed in terms of the macroseismic intensity and the seismic quality of the buildings by means of a vulnerability index. The value of the vulnerability index can be changed depending on the structural systems, quality of construction, etc., by introducing behavior and regional modifiers based on expert judgments. Since there is no available data of damaged buildings under earthquake loading in our country, we will propose behavior modifiers based on values suggested by earlier works and on judgment based on available project documentation of the considered buildings. Depending on the proposed modifiers, the seismic vulnerability of existing buildings in the city of Osijek will be assessed. The resulting vulnerability of the considered residential buildings provides necessary insight for emergency planning and for identification of critical objects vulnerable to seismic loading.

A UIS-based System Development to Express the Damage History Information of Natural Disasters

  • The damage of natural disasters has occurred on huge scale more frequently than before. The damage caused by the disasters are summarized and are analyzed, and are managed as a very general type of documentation, not showing the position of previous damage records and related information such as weather, facilities of CCTV, hospitals, and gas station on the maps. Therefore, it needs to provide map-based searching systems considering damaged area as well as search key-words. This paper focuses on the development of a search system based on the map to manage previous disaster records and related information each disaster using spatial databases. This system consists of three modules, which are databases to store disaster data, the SQL procedure-based search module to extract needed information from the constructed databases, and the map module to express the search results on the map. This paper will contribute to provide framework of a system development for managing the disaster information according to each year and disaster based on the maps and to be utilized as the basic framework in developing damage prediction and prevention systems for disasters in future.

BIM 템플릿 개발을 위한 템플릿 구성요소 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Analysis of the Template Component for the Development of BIM Template)

  • BIM based design methodology requires more information than traditional design methodology in order to insure efficiency throughout the project. BIM based design not only requires all building data in the form of 3D shapes, but also all other relevant data regarding building components. Information is typically grouped in a standard classification system such as by standardized material names. The development of a domestic BIM based standard classification system is yet to be created and deployed in the industry. Each designer is specifying their own building information classification systems which is causing inconsistency in the industry. Therefore BIM based designs, are causing confusion in the industry as each designer follow no guidelines for material standardization classification. The lack of information regarding this in the BIM template will continue to cause confusion about a projects building information data consistently. This study is that of preliminary research to develop a BIM template. First, overseas BIM templates were analyzed regarding BIM standards and documentation. Examination then followed regarding the element and characteristics needed for the development of a BIM template, a suggested hierarchy of elements required for a BIM template were then made. The result of this research is that it will be used to develop a "BIM template prototype", to support the generation of building information data regarding neighborhood facilities.

ISO/TC46과 국제표준번호제도의 발전 동향 (The Recent Trend of ISO/TC46 and International Standard Numbers)

  • ISO/TC46은 ISO 전문위원회 중에서도 가장 오래되었으며, 특히 도서관, 도큐멘테이션 및 정보센터, 색인 및 초록서비스, 문서기록, 정보학 및 출판 등과 관련된 표준화 활동을 하고 있다. 그 산하에는 모두 SC4, SC8, SC9, SC11의 4개 분과위원회가 있으며, 이들의 최근 활동을 분석함으로써 '정보와 도큐멘테이션'에 대한 국제표준화 흐름을 개략적으로 살펴보았다. 그리고 이 가운데 특히 SC9의 정보식별을 위한 표준화활동과 관련하여 ISBN, ISSN, ISMN, ISRN, ISRC, ISAN, ISWC, ISTC 등 8개의 국제표준번호들의 특성과 식별체계를 비교 분석한 후 <표 1>에 나타내었으며, 이들 번호간에 상호 관련성을 <그림 1>에 제시하였다. 또한 국제표준번호제도에 있어 전자자료에 대한 번호부여, 구성부분에 대한 번호부여, 작품에 대한 번호부여 등의 문제점과 전망에 대해 논급하였다.

XML기반의 전자상거래 문서양식 관리

  • HTML로 표현된 양식은 데이터 모델을 포함하고 있지 않기 때문에 종이 양식과 같은 전자상거래 레코드를 구성하기 어렵다. XML로 양식을 표현하기 위한 노력은 XFDL이 대표적이다. 전자상거래 언어로서 XFDL의 가치는 데이터, 표현, 계산규칙, 의미 등에 대한 정보를 단일한 XML 문서에 통합하는 능력이 있다. XFDL은 고품질의 배치(Layout), 문서화(Documentation) 지원, 통합 계산, 입력 검증, 복수의 중첩되는 디지털 서명, 감사가 가능한 거래 레크드 등을 지원한다. 그러나, 이러한 특징을 갖는 XFDL은 내용과 표현을 분리하고자 하는 W3C의 정책과는 괴리가 있다. XForms는 HTML 양식의 한계점을 개선하기 위해서 W3C에서 활발히 추진되고 있는 XML기반의 차세대 양식이다. 핵심 아이디어는 사용자 인터페이스와 표현을 데이터 모델과 논리로부터 분리시켜서, 하나의 폼을 이동단말, 텔레비전, PC등 다양한 용도로 사용할 수 있도록 지원한다는 점이다. 이 논문에서는 차세대의 양식 표준으로 예상되는 XForms를 중심으로 기업간의 양식 처리를 위한 방안에 대하여 논한다.

문화 및 자연 유산의 해석을 위한 3차원 스캔 모델의 가시화 - 공룡발자국의 기록과 해석 사례 (Visualization of 3D Scanned Model for Interpretation of Heritage - Case of Dinosaur Tracks for Documentation and Interpretation)

  • 문화 자연유산 분야에서 3차원 스캐닝 기술은 아직 기록과 보존, 모니터링의 도구로 활용 폭이 제한되어 있으며, 전문가들에 의해 직접 활용되지 못하고 있다. 스캔 데이터의 정밀한 기하 정보는 효과적인 가시화를 통해 전문가들의 과학적 해석을 가능하게 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 스캔 모델로부터 필요한 기하 특성을 가시화하는 렌더링 기법들을 분석하고, 스캔 데이터의 가시화 파이프라인과 렌더링 기법 및 이의 분류 체계를 제시하였다. 또한 사례연구로서, 공룡발자국 분야의 기존 연구 방법을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, 이에 따라 스캔 모델을 가시화하여 전문가를 대상으로 테스트를 수행하였으며 이를 통해 효과성을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 3차원 스캔 데이터를 이용하여 문화 및 자연유산을 효과적으로 해석할 수 있는 실용적 방안을 제시하였음에 의의가 있다.
