A combination of computer codes such as LATREP, HWR, AXAV and CITATION is utilized in an attempt to analyze the nuclear design characteristics of the CANDU-PHWR of the Wolsung Unit 1. The major nuclear properties to be computed are tile lattice properties of CANDU fuel channel and the core channel power distribution. The computed results are compared with the PSR documentation for the Wolsung reactor. The observed discrepancies between our computation and the PSB values are discussed in terms of incomplete information on the description of the core configuration in the PSR and the different calculation methods.

The study is based on the elaborated normative and legal documentation regulating the national security of modern Ukraine and the normative and legal documents adopted by NATO in the responding policy to the challenges that arose after 2014. The main advantages of cooperation with NATO are ensuring military security, developing army standards, improving the country's investment climate, and reducing expenditures on the army. The disadvantages of cooperation with NATO in hostilities with Russia are not highlighted. Still, defined obstacles show that Ukraine is not ready to realize entry into NATO in the short term. Such factors include weak information support, corruption, and unclear diplomatic decisions.

Catalogers have been reporting the ways they use the Internet for several years, but as yet there has been little evaluation done to determine for which areas of cataloging the Internet is a valuable tool and for which areas it is not as useful. A survey was conducted in an effort to elicit this information. The responses indicated four areas in which catalogers use the Internet : searching the OPACs of other libraries, communicating with colleagues, accessing online cataloging documentation and publications, and authority work. Some catalogers also related processes for which they have found the Internet to not be efficient.

In this paper, we implement the multimedia dynamic authoring system based on causality model. we define two specifications which support user to specify intuitively and naturally what he/she wants, The temporal specification describes causal-based temporal relationships between presentation objects, and the spatial specification describes relative layout structure among objects on the screen. Using the specifications, the system processes for multimedia documentation are one-dimensional string list, relational trees, such as temporal. spatial, and annotated composition tree generation phases.

In rapidly changing an information=oriented society, it is essential to control massive document information by electronic file. In relation to these electronic document, it is also important to keep and maintain all kinds of information without any losses. It should be allowed to trace previous contents as well as recently updated contents by controlling updated contents with version. For these, XML is recommendable. In this thesis, we intend to save the document storing space by saving only updated contents with version without saving whole documentation, when document is updated. In case of controlling the history of document update by version, we designed system so as to omit "JOIN operation" if document size is under a certainspecific size. Therefore, we implemented a new XML document repository system which is possible for quick search and efficient XML document saving by reducing perfomance deterioration caused by JOIN operation.

In order to intensify an enterprise competition, quality inspection controls are very important issue. An organization or division of a company hopes which to acquire the quality inspection information be updated in real-time with respect to shop floor. In this paper, we develop a quality inspection control system for a Turbine/Generator production industry. The system compromises inspection scheduling module related to shop floor control (SFC) system, formal documentation control module, and formal inspection control module. In the quality inspection control system, ORACLE RDBMS is used for the database management system and ORACLE DEVELOPER 2000 is used for system development tool. The characteristic of this system is to support so it can enhance productivity and quality through inspection plans related to production scheduling.

The role of information in knowledge society has changed. Library refers to information centre, which is actively involved information collection and promoting use of for the development of individual and society. The purpose of this study was to examine some of the most important factors for the development of information systems with today's fast-paced, ever-changing, and exciting information system environment. Especially, it was focused to investigate current information technology related to develop information systems, to find some important problems during the development process, and to suggest solutions for the problems. Case research methodology was used because a natural setting was needed and a focus was on contemporary events for this study. Similarly, research phenomena was not supported by a strong theoretical base. The case was the development of an integrated information systems in a specific university. Multiple-case designs were desirable, but single-case study was used because of limitations of site selection. Multiple data collection methods were employed in this study such as documentation, interviews, and direct observation. Some major problems were found during the system development. First, the schedule to complete a project was delayed over six months. Second, the system did not ensure to align organizational goals and information systems goals based on BPR (Business Process Reengineering). Third, there was a difficulty in evaluating request for proposal (RPR) returns and choosing a vendor. Finally, information technology is changing too fast. So, it was very difficult to get the transparency of new technology The study has suggested a few solutions: top management support, matching If planning with business planning, complete project plan and control, user participation, and training Finally, joint application development (JAD) is strongly recommended, which is a workshop that unites management, IT specialists, and knowledge workers to define and specify the logical requirements and technical alternatives for a proposed system.
