In this paper, we propose waste collection vehicle system with a safety device for worker safety and an autonomous driving function. The steering system is applied as MDPS (Motor Drive Power Steering) system to control the waste collection vehicle of the internal combustion engine. Safety-related errors is prevented through redundancy brake of the integrated system and the control braking system. In order to ensure safety between workers and waste collection vehicles, work guidelines and safety devices for emergency stop in case of danger are applied to vehicles. In addition, this research is conducted on improving the working efficiency through vehicle condition monitoring system and a short-range control system for field test. This research is aimed to secure stability through demonstration and contribute to the industrialization of unmanned waste collection vehicles.

We had passed through a serious water pollution with a rapid urbanization and industrialization in the 1960's. Seoul Chunggyechun Sewage Disposal System set uP in 1966 and finished in 1976, as the first sewage disposal system in Korea, had covered only 4 percentage of the sewage disposal system per capita for 10 years. Through holding the Asian Games in 1986 and the Olympic Games in 1988, we expanded the sewage disposal system so that it became increased 18 percentage of the population in 1986. Finally, we have installed about 60 sewage disposal system by 1994 for a large environmental investment which was critically caused by "Phenol Accident in Nakdong River" . Now, the sewage disposal system per capita covers 42 percentage and the activity for water quality improvement is going on rapidly. The method of sewage disposal is mainly "activated sludge process" . However, the technical ability for the sewage disposal has largely developed since 1991 so the "extended aeration process" is used in Po$\v{u}$n, Tangyang, Mun$\v{u}$i, "rotating biological contact process" in Onch$\v{u}$ng, Pukok, and "oxidation ditch process" in K$\v{o}$ch'ana.

A BIPV(Building Integrated PV) system is united by a constituent outer covering and can expect dual effects that reduce expenses for the establishment of a PV system. It is a profitable technology because it does not need a building as it is a stand alone PV system. In this paper, output characteristics analysis of PCS and web-based monitoring of 10kW BIPV, were stimulated and examined for validity. The BIPV system proposed in this paper was established in at BIC (Biotechnology Industrialization Center) of Dongshin University, which was composed with PCS and Web-monitoring system.

Fast urbanization and industrialization have resulted in rapid changes in the urban environment. For effective monitoring and management of these changes, a new surveying methodology that is more inexpensive and timely than the conventional remote sensing system if required. This paper proposes an unmanned airship videographic system capable of acquiring stable video. In addition, it presents approaches to constructing a prototype facilities management system based on VideoGIS, which links GIS functions and video data to provide actual spatiotemporal information.

Recently, flood damage is rapidly increasing because of warming of globe, urbanization and industrialization. As a countermeasure to prevent these flood damages, it is quite required to extend the flood control ability by improving the objective rivers in the watershed and building more medium to large scale reserviors. Simultaneously repairing and rehabilitation of facilities through the safety diagnosis for reinforcement of the facilities should be continuously proceeded. Also extensive implementation of drainage improvement, establishment of prevention and refairing system against flood damage and raise of accuracy of weather forecasting should be proceeded.

The U.S. Space Shuttle represents the beginning of a new era in transportation and is the critical element in the industrialization of the near-Earth-space. Most of its flights are dedicated to reducing costs launching commercial satellites. However, it provides a microgravity environment for processing unique and improved materials which is generating great interest in both civilian and military sectors. The space shuttle is also the necessary step in establishing a permanent space station which could host materials analysis laboratories and commercial processing facilities. This paper reviews the different elements of the space shuttle transportation system, a typical mission scenario, and discusses current activities in materials processing in space.

In existing technology planning, there is lack of considerations such as technology fusion, users' requirements of future, gap analysis between technology development and production, and industrialization process of development technology, that is, technology diffusion and technology transfer strategy. The most noticeable thing is that there is an obvious transition from supplier-centered to consumer-centered in the development of service or product because users' needs are getting a diverse and high level with the paradigm change of industry and society in the 21st century. So it is very important to design effectively a technology planning system under integration of R&D-production-sales system for satisfaction of customers' various choices. In this paper, we present considerations being required strategically in technology planning through analysis of mutual relationship and interface between technology planning, R&D and production system.

In this paper, a sensor network system for providing intelligent home network services is suggested. It steadily collects biological data of resident people and automatically detects emergency situations LEID(Lighting Embedded Information Device) system are the most essential component of the sensor network. They embed sensor network technology into lightening devices which are indispensable most living spaces. To verify practicality of the proposed intelligent home network service system, a prototypical system is realized in the Smart Home Industrialization Support Center at Kookmin University, and is tested within many practical circumstances.

In the 21th century, there ate problems of the environment caused by industrialization. for several years, the world has suffered great losses because of unforeseen weather phenomena. to make a system is needed about natural disaster especially to restore disaster on heavy snow, a role of construction temporary system is important. it needs to be construction temporary system to recover through analysing cases of disaster on heavy rain.
