무전극 형광램프의 페라이트 특성변화에 따른 전자계 분포 (Electromagnetic Field Distribution of Electrodeless Fluorescent Lamps)

  • The RF inductive discharge or inductively coupled plasma (ICP) continues to attract growing attention as an effective plasma source in many industrial applications, the best known of which are plasma processing and lighting technicology. Although most practical ICP operate at 13.56 [MHz]and 2.65 [MHz], the trend to reduce the operating frequency is clearly recognizable from recent ICP developments. In an electrodeless fluorescent lamp, the use of a lower operating frequency simplifies and reduces cost of rf matching systems and rf generators and can eliminate capacitive coupling between the inductor coil and plasma, which could be a strong factor in wall erosion and plasma contamination. In this study, the configuration of ferrite and fixture which operates at the frequency of 2.65[MHz]was discussed as functions of the ferrite thickness and distance by using the electromagnetic simulation software (Maxwell 2D).

Contactless Power Charger for Light Electric Vehicles Featuring Active Load Matching

  • Contactless power transfer technology is gaining increasing attention in city transportation applications because of its high mobility and flexibility in charging and its commensurate power level with conductive power transfer method. In this study, an inductively coupled contactless charging system for a 48 V light electric vehicle is proposed. Although this study does not focus on system efficiency, the generic problems in an inductively coupled contactless power transfer system without ferromagnetic structure are discussed. An active load matching method is also proposed to control the power transfer on the receiving side through a load matching converter. Small signal modeling and linear control technology are applied to the load matching converter for port voltage regulation, which effectively controls the power flow into the load. A prototype is built, and experiments are conducted to reveal the intrinsic characteristics of a series-series resonant inductive power charger in terms of frequency, air gap length, power flow control, coil misalignment, and efficiency issues.

분산권선형 다이폴 코일을 이용한 10m 거리 무선전력전송 (10m Distance Inductive Power Transfer using Distributed Windings of Dipole Coil)

  • 본 논문에서는 10m 반경의 공간에 위치한 웨어러블 기기를 충전하기 위한 무선 전력전송을 제안한다. 장거리 무선전력전송의 송신코일 양단의 높은 전압문제를 해결하기 위해 공진 커패시터를 분산하여 각 코일의 유기전압을 줄이는 분산권선형 다이폴 코일을 제안하였다. FEM 시뮬레이션 결과, 분산권선형 다이폴 코일이 형성한 자속밀도의 균일도는 최소 71%로 집중권선형 다이폴 코일의 최소 51%보다 높았다. 또한 거리별 최고 자속밀도는 분산권선형 다이폴 코일이 낮았지만 거리가 멀어질수록 차이는 줄어들어 5m 거리 이후에서의 차이는 30 % 이내임을 확인하였다. 시뮬레이션 설계를 바탕으로 분산권선형 다이폴 송신코일과 4가지의 다른 형태를 갖는 수신 코일을 제작하여 10m 거리 이내에서 10 mW 이상의 전력을 전송하였다.

  • In this paper, the fabrication of a micro actuator with a micro electromagnet and an actuator diaphragm is presented. The micro electromagnet consists of a magnetic core and a micro inductive planar coil. The actuator diaphragm is the p+ silicon diaphragm on both sides of which magnetostrictive materials are deposited by sputtering. The micro electromagnet is fabricated by sputtering, evaporating, etching and electroplating. The magnetic flux density of the micro electromagnet is measured by using the gauss meter. The deflection of the actuator diaphragm is measured by using the laser vibrometer and optic microscope.

  • Low-Pressure inductively coupled RF discharge sources have important industrial applications mainly because they can provide a high-density electrodeless plasma source with low ion energy and low power loss. In an inductive discharge, the RF power is coupled to the plasma by an electromagnetic interaction with the current flowing in a coil. In this paper, the experiments have been focussed on the electric characteristic and carried out using a single Langmuir probe. The internal electric characteristics of inductively coupled Ar RF discharge at 13.56 [MHz] have been measured over a wide range of power at gas pressure ranging from $1{\sim}70$ [mTorr].

  • 본 논문에서는 무선전력 전송을 위한 평판 나선형 코일의 최적 형상 선정을 위해 각 코일의 형태에 따른 출력 성능을 비교 및 평가한다. 코일 간 결합계수, 각 코일의 Q-factor 측면에서 송수신 패드의 성능을 비교하며, 이를 위해 송수신 패드가 차지하는 면적을 최대한 활용하여 모델링 한다. 모델링한 코일에 대하여 수신패드의 수직 및 수평이동에 대한 성능 지표를 평가하고 코일의 최적 형상을 선정한다.

  • The phase angle which is mainly depend on time constant $\tau$ of the calculable 10 A and 0.1 ${\Omega}ac/dc$ resistor has been analysed. The low values of resistors are usually inductive and time constant $\tau$ very large compare to high values of resistors. The numerical analysis has been shown that the time constant $\tau$ becomes zero when introduce the compensation capacitance geometrically to the resistive coil with proper dimension. As a result a very low phase angle can be achieved within the realizable dimensions.

  • We have studied the breaking system that combines a resistive superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) and a DC circuit breaker for DC fault current. To verify the design of the 15 kV DC SFCL, which was driven from the previous work, a 500 V DC system was built and a scale-down SFCL were manufactured. The manufactured SFCL module was designed as a bifilar coil which is a structure that minimizes inductive reactance. The manufactured SFCL module has been experiment to verify characteristics of the current-limiting performance in the DC 500 V system. Also, the manufactured FCL module was combined with the DC circuit breaker to be experimented to analyze the breaking performance. As a result of the experiment, when SFCL was combined to the DC circuit breaker, the energy dissipation received by the DC circuit breaker was reduced by up to 84% compared to when the DC circuit breaker operates alone. We are preparing methods and experiments for the optimal method for much higher performance as a future work.

태양광 발전에 의한 비접촉 방식 저 전력 에너지 전송회로에 관한 연구 (A Study on Low Power Energy Transfer Circuits of the Non Contact Method by means of Solar Generation)

  • 본 논문은 무선 전력 전송에 관한 이론을 토대로 송신부와 수신부의 두 개의 평면 코일 사이의 자기 유도 원리의 다양한 조건 변화에 따른 무 접촉 무선 전력 전송에 관한 연구이다. 실험은 무 접촉 방식으로 전력을 전송 할 수 있는 송신부인 1차 측 코일과 수신부인 2차 측 코일 및 하프브리지 직렬 공진 컨버터를 적용한 무선 전원 장치의 송신부 회로와 수신부회로의 출력 전압 및 전원을 계산할 수 있는 환경을 마련해 주었다. 송신부의 유도 결합 공진 컨버터의 주 전원은 태양광 전지 모듈과 대체 광원으로서 인공 광원(할로겐 램프)을 이용하여 전기 에너지로 변환 시켜 사용하였으며 태양광 발전으로부터 공급받은 24 V 전원을 무선 전력 전송 장치를 위한 입력 전원으로 사용하였다. 실험 결과, 전달 받은 전력은 수신부 회로에서 조명을 밝히거나 배터리를 충전하는데 사용된다. 그리고 송신부의 출력 측에서 측정을 통해 수신부의 입력 전력과 비교하여 무선 전력 전송 효율은 약 70~89%로 나타났다. 또한 이 논문을 위해서, 무선 전력 전송 시 이물질이 간섭하였을 때, ID 검증 방식과 전압의 위상차 비교 방법을 통해 효율성 실험을 하였다.
