  • 본 논문은 배전계통에서 사용되고 있는 유도 원판형 과전류 계전기를 EMTP(ElectroMagnetic Transients Program)을 이용하여 모델링 하였다. EMTP 내의 TACS 소자는 동적 응답 특성을 모델링 할 수 있는 소자로 유도 원판형 계전기의 동적 응답 특성을 모델링하는데 사용되었다. 계전기의 순시동작 및 한시동작 특성은 한국전력공사 과전류 계전기 표준규격에 근거하여 모델링하였으며, 순시동작 및 한시동작 (반한시, 강반한시) 특성을 모두 모델링하였다. 또한 한국전력공사 실 배전계통에 투입하여 고장 발생 시 계전기 동작을 관찰함으로써 모델링한 계전기의 동작을 검증하였다.

  • Gaspipe buried close to power lines can be subjected to hazardous induction effects, especially during single line to ground faults. Accordingly, it is necessary to take into consideration for analysis of induced voltage on a gaspipeline in transmission lines. This paper analyses the induced voltage on the gaspipeline due to single line to ground faults of the transmission lines using EMTP (Electro-Magnetic Transients Program).

  • Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) has a simple structure with high efficient and without rotor conductor loss. Therefore, it is better than induction motor for electric vehicle (EV) on aspect of efficiency. SynRM usually operates on the constant torque region using maximum torque per ampere (MTPA)control which is adopted due to rotor structure limitation. Thus, the accurate current angle is crucial for motor control. However, finite element analysis (FEA) program is not sufficient exactly to regard how the iron loss and magnetic saturation influences on the current angle. Consequently, this paper proposed a method to calculate the current angle with consideration of iron loss.

  • This paper presents the modeling and analysis of wind turbine generating system(WTGS) using doubly fed induction machine as a generator Generally, wind turbine generating system is composed of complicated machinery. So it is very difficult to present the mathematic model. This means that WTGS has a nonlinear system. Using the real output data from the WTGS for one year, it is simply possible to express the rotor and gear coupling system as a torque generator according to wind speed. Also, the modeling of electrical system can be able to present using the data sheet from the company. To analyze the proposed method, computer simulation using Psim program are presented to support the discussion.

  • In the future light rail vehicle is more attractive than subway, because of construction time and cost. For light rail vehicle are two types of traction motors. one is traditional rotating type and the other is linear motor. Linear motor is not better in consideration of efficiency and power factor than rotating type. But the motor needs no translation equipment for linear motion and with them can be constructed low floor vehicle. In this paper will be designed a linear induction motor with consideration of operational condition and analysed operating characteristics using FEM program and equivalent circuit.

  • It is a complex process to analyze power system voltage stability problems with all of the dynamics of a system, because a large power network system sophisticatedly consists of generators, lines, loads and so forth. So we considered the dynamics of loads so as to analyze voltage stability method- by carrying out an analysis of steady state voltage stability and dynamic voltage stability simultaneously. To perform a steady state voltage stability program in advance makes it possible to cut down on laborious calculations so that an analysis of dynamic voltage stability becomes concise. The validity and efficiency of the method presented in this paper were verified by applying the IEEE 14 bus system.

  • Pentacene moiety has been widely studied in Organic Thin-Film Transistor (OTFT) device as a channel layer because of high carrier mobility. In this study, we have fabricated vertical type Organic Static Induction Transistors (SITs) using pentacene, 6,13-Dinaphthalen-1-ly-Pentacene (1-DNP, 3), and 6,13-Dinaphthalen-2- ly-Pentacene (2-DNP, 4). 1-DNP and 2-DNP have same naphtyl group with pentacene, but different linked position and spatial arrangement. We have checked the static characteristics of materials in vertical type SITs device. We found that pentacene has as on/off ratio of 14.56, 1-DNP and 2-DNP shows as on/off ratio of 36.58 and 6.61 at VDS = 2V in SIT, respectively.

  • Effects of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) on ovulation and spawning of the grass puffer, Takifugu niphobles, were investigated. Matured females spawned successfully by all doses of HCG. Spawning usually occurred 24 hours after hormone injection. Body weight of adult, gonadsomatic index (GSI), pseudo-GSI, body weight of spawned egg, success rate of spawn, fertilization rate, hatching rate, and survival rate of juvenile were correlated with increasing HCG doses. However, abnormal rate of juvenile was not correlated with increasing HCG doses. These results should be useful for developing aquaculture program of grass puffer.

  • Power system loads have a significant impact on a system. Although it is difficult to precisely describe loads in a mathematical model, accurately modeling them is important for a system analysis. The traditional load modeling method is based on the load components of a bus. Recently, the load modeling method based on measurements from a system has been introduced and developed by researchers. The two major components of a load modeling problem are determining the mathematical model for the target system and estimating the parameters of the determined model. We use the composite load model, which has both static and dynamic load characteristics. The ZIP model and the induction motor model are used for the static and dynamic load models, respectively. In this work, we propose the measurement-based parameter estimation method for the composite load model. The test system and related measurements are obtained using transient security assessment tool(TSAT) simulation program and PSS/E. The parameter estimation is then verified using these measurements. Cases are tested and verified using the sample system and its related measurements.

  • Most of all, DTC drive is very simple in its implementation because it needs only two hysteresis comparator and switching vector table for both flux and torque control. The amplitude of hysteresis band greatly influences on the drive performance such as flux and torque ripple and inverter switching frequency. In this paper the influence of the amplitudes of flux and torque hysteresis bands and sampling time of control program on the torque and flux ripples are investigated. Simulation results confirm the superiority of the DTC under the proposed method over the conventional DTC.
