치위생과 학생들의 보건의료 정보화에 대한 태도 (Attitude toward medical health information in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the attitude toward medical health information in the dental hygiene students. Methods: The subjects were 370 dental hygiene college students in the metropolitan area. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 350 students from March 2 to May, 3, 2014. Except 20 incomplete answers, data were analyzed by frequency analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA using SPSS 12.0 program. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, satisfaction of internet use, and attitude toward medical health information. Results: Most of the students had personal computers and they did not receive computer education. The students used internet in the variety of the fields. Satisfaction level was 3.28 by 5 point Likert scale. The attitude toward medical health information was 3.20. They would not use computer if possible, and the score was 3.50 points that was the highest mark. There was no statistically significant difference in medical health information by the general characteristics of the subjects. Conclusions: The attitude toward medical health information was not fully satisfactory in many fields. The curriculum for the dental hygiene must include step-by-step computer course and the computer education must provide the diverse educational opportunities for the students.

실시간교통정보 이용에 따른 차량의 CO, VOC, NOx 저감효과 평가 (Evaluating Vehicle Emission Reduction (CO, VOC and NOx) Using Real-time Traffic Information)

  • This paper was inspired by the fact that Real-time Traffic Information Service could play a key role in reducing incomplete combustion time remarkably since it can provide traffic jam information in real-time basis. Emission characteristics of experimental engines were studied with variable travel distances and speed of car in terms of traffic information provided. 12 Km distance road of Susung district in Daegu is taken as an experimental area to examine this new approach. The emission was tested while the driving was done at 8 AM, 3 PM, 6 PM which represents various traffic conditions. The reduced emission has been measured for a travel distance running at different loads (conventional shortest route and Real-time Traffic Information) and various loads (CO, VOC and NOx) are all inventoried and calculated in terms of existing emission factors. The emission has been shown to reduce linearly with travel distance : carbon monoxide (20.56%), VOC (29.21%), NOx(8.86%).

Three-phase Transformer Model and Parameter Estimation for ATP

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop an improved three-phase transformer model for ATP and parameter estimation methods that can efficiently utilize the limited available information such as factory test reports. In this paper, improved topologically-correct duality-based models are developed for three-phase autotransformers having shell-form cores. The problem in the implementation of detailed models is the lack of complete and reliable data. Therefore, parameter estimation methods are developed to determine the parameters of a given model in cases where available information is incomplete. The transformer nameplate data is required and relative physical dimensions of the core are estimated. The models include a separate representation of each segment of the core, including hysteresis of the core, ${\lambda}-i$ saturation characteristic and core loss.

무인주행차량을 위한 비포장 도로추적 (Adaptive and Recursive Tracking of Unpaved Roads)

  • 무인 주행 차량에 있어서, 포장 또는 비포장 도로의 시각적 추적은 매우 중요한 문제중의 하나이다. 따라서, 비디오 이미지로부터 비포장 도로를 추적할 수 있는 신속한 비젼 알고리즘의 개발이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 칼만 필터와 EM(Expectation Maximization) 이론을 이용해 도로를 예측하고 시스템 파라미터를 갱신하는 방법을 제시한다. 시스템 파라미터, 도로 state, 도로 경계선, 그리고 모든 과거 데이터들을 각각 EM 파라미터, hidden data, incomplete data와 complete data로 정의함으로서 도로 state를 예측하고 시스템 파라미터를 추정할 수 있는 시간 회귀적 수식을 유도해 낼 수 있다. 이러한 방법을 이용하여 도로 state는 칼만 필터에 의해 매 프레임마다 예측되며, 시스템 파라미터들은 주기적으로 갱신되는 것이다. 결과적으로 이 방법은 주변환경과 날씨에 많은 영향을 받는 도로의 모양과 특징을 잘 찾아낼 수 있다. 또한 도로의 다음 state를 예측할 수 있는 점을 이용하면 계산량을 줄일 수 있으므로 실시간 구현에 용이하다. 이와 같은 방법으로 우리는 0.1 sec/frame 처리속도를 보장하는 도로추적 시스템을 구현하였다.

Analysis of Incomplete Data with Nonignorable Missing Values

  • In the case of "nonignorable missing data", it is necessary to assume a model dealing with the missing on each situations. In this article, for example, we sometimes meet situations where data set are income amounts in a survey of individuals and assume a model as the values are the larger, a missing data probability is the higher. The method is to maximize using the EM(Expectation and Maximization) algorithm based on the (missing data) mechanism that creates missing data of the case of exponential distribution. The method started from any initial values, and converged in a few iterations. We changed the missing data probability and the artificial data size to show the estimated accuracy. Then we discuss the properties of estimates.

INITIAL ACQUISITION PROCEDURE FOR KOMPSAT2 WITH K13ANTENNA

  • In general, most incomplete communication link setup between satellite and ground station right after separation from launcher come from less accurate orbital vector ground station uses to track the satellite because only predicted orbital state vector is available during first few orbits. This paper describes the developed procedure for successful initial acquisition for KOMPSAT-2 using scanning functions ofK13 antenna system with predicted orbital information. Azimuth scan, raster scan, spiral scan functions were tested with KOMPSA Tl under intentionally degraded orbital information for antenna operation. Through tests, spiral scan function was decided to be best search scan among 3 scans. Developed procedure can assure the successful acquisition only if azimuth offset and time offset value are within +/-2deg and +/-30sec, respectively.

초음파 센서을 이용한 자율 이동 로봇의 써튼티 그리드 형성 (Sonar-Based Certainty Grids for Autonomous Mobile Robots)

  • This paper discribes a sonar-based certainty grid, the probabilistic representation of the uncertain and incomplete sensor knowledge, for autonomous mobile robot navigation. We use sonar sensor range data to build a map of the robot's surroundings. This range data provides information about the location of the objects which may exist in front of the sensor. From this information, we can compute the probability of being occupied and that of being empty for each cell. In this paper, a new method using Bayesian formula is introduced, which enables us to overcome some difficulties of the Ad-Hoc formula that has been the only way of updating the grids. This new formula can be applied to other kinds of sensors as well as sonar sensor. The validity of this formula in the real world is verified through simulation and experiment. This paper also shows that a wide angle sensor such as sonar sensor can be used effectively to identify the empty area, and the simultaneous use of multiple sensors and fusion in a certainty grid can improve the quality of the map.

불완전 입력문장의 인식과 완성 (Recognition and Completion of Incomplete Inputs)

  • 에디터 환경에서 사용자가 문법적으로 불완전한 문장을 입력하면, 에디터는 오류를 발견하고 적절한 오류 처리 루틴을 실행하게 된다. 대부분의 에디터는 에러를 발견하면 에러 발생 여부를 사용자에게 알리고, 에러 위치를 하이라이트 시켜 사용자가 오류를 수정할 수 있도록 해준다. 에디터 환경에서의 사용자 입력은 입력 부분의 왼쪽, 오른쪽에서 완전하지 못한 형태로 입력될 수 있다. 그러나, 기존 오류 처리 방법은 불완전한 문장에 대해 에러 처리만을 통보할 뿐 계속적인 파싱을 보장하지 못한다. 본 논문은 파서가 문법적으로 불완전한 입력 문장을 해당 문법에 따라 올바로 인식하고, 누락된 문법 심벌을 찾아 파스 트리의 부족한 부분을 완성함으로써 계속적인 파싱을 보장할 수 있는 파싱 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법을 통해 사용자는 입력의 문법 오류에 대한 부담을 줄일 수 있고, 불완전한 입력에 대한 계속적인 파싱을 보증 받을 수 있어 파싱 효율을 높일 수 있다.

THE MULTI-PROJECTIVE MODEL: AN OBJECT-ORIENTED LOGICAL MODEL

  • The multi-projective model considers attributes and the relationships among attributes called projections. The critical features of the multi-projective model are the way of relating attributes in the description of the system, the way of reasoning incomplete projections, and the determination of connected patterns between projection. In order to get a full picture of the system, we build a set of projections. The multi-projective model can be thought of as projections of a multi-dimensional reality onto simplified “model space”. The multi-projective database modeling approach used in this paper unified the ideas and terminology of various database models. Most importantly, the multi-projective modeling is presented as a tool of database design in the relational and other database models.

Extraction of Geometric Primitives from Point Cloud Data

  • Object detection and parameter estimation in point cloud data is a relevant subject to robotics, reverse engineering, computer vision, and sport mechanics. In this paper a software is presented for fully-automatic object detection and parameter estimation in unordered, incomplete and error-contaminated point cloud with a large number of data points. The software consists of three algorithmic modules each for object identification, point segmentation, and model fitting. The newly developed algorithms for orthogonal distance fitting (ODF) play a fundamental role in each of the three modules. The ODF algorithms estimate the model parameters by minimizing the square sum of the shortest distances between the model feature and the measurement points. Curvature analysis of the local quadric surfaces fitted to small patches of point cloud provides the necessary seed information for automatic model selection, point segmentation, and model fitting. The performance of the software on a variety of point cloud data will be demonstrated live.
