펄스레이저 증착법으로 제작된 ($Pb_{0.72}La_{0.28}$)$Ti_{0.93}O_{3}$박막의 레이저 파장 변화에 따른 특성 연구 (Effect Of Variation Of Laser Wavelength OH Properties of ($Pb_{0.72}La_{0.28}$)$Ti_{0.93}O_{3}$Thin Films Fabricated by Pulsed Laser Deposition)

  • Thin films of phase-pure perovskite (P $b_{0.72}$L $a_{0.28}$) $Ti_{0.93}$ $O_3$(PLT) were deposited in-situ onto Pt/Ti/ $SiO_2$/Si substrates by pulsed laser deposition. We have systematically investigated the variation of grain sizes depending on the process condition. Both in-situ annealing and ex-situ annealing treatments have been compared depending on the annealing time. Two-step process to grow (P $b_{0.72}$L $a_{0.28}$) $Ti_{0.93}$ $O_3$(PLT) films was adopted and verified to be useful to enlarge the grain size of the film and to enhance the leakage current characteristics. The grain sizes of PLT thin films were successfully controlled 260 to 350 nm by changing process parameters. Electrical properties including dielectric constant, ferroelectric characteristics, crystallization and leakage current of PLT thin films were shown to be strongly inf1uenced by grain size. Also PLT thin films on p-type(100) Si substrate will be fabricated by pulsed laser deposition technique using a Nd:YAG laser with different wavelengths of 355, 532 and 1064 nm. Effect of the variation of laser wavelength on dielectric properties will be discussed. Microstructural and electrical properties of the film were investigated by C-V measurement leakage current measurement and SEM.ent and SEM.

Polypyrrole을 증착시킨 Poly(vinyl alcohol) 나노섬유 제조 및 전극용 텍스타일 센서로의 활용 가능성 탐색 -딥 코팅과 현장중합 증착 방식을 중심으로- (Fabrication of Polypyrrole Deposited Poly (vinyl alcohol) Nanofiber Webs by Dip-coating and In situ Polymerization and their Application to Textile Electrode Sensors)

  • This study compared dip-coating and in situ polymerization methods for the development of nanofiber-based E-textile using polypyrrole. Nanofiber webs were fabricated by electrospinning an aqueous poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) solution. Subsequently, the PVA nanofiber web underwent thermal treatment to improve water resistance. Dip-coating and in situ polymerization methods were used to deposit polypyrrole on the surfaces of the nanofiber web. An FE-SEM analysis was also conducted to examine specimen surface characteristics along with EDS and FT-IR that analyzed the chemical bonding between polypyrrole and specimens. The line resistance and sheet resistance of the treated specimens were measured. Finally, an electrocardiogram (ECG) was measured with textile sensors made of the polypyrrole-deposited PVA nanofiber webs. The polypyrrole-deposited PVA nanofiber webs fabricated by dip-coating dissolved in the dip-coating solution and indicated damage to the nanofibers. However, in the case of in situ polymerization, polypyrrole nanoparticles were deposited on the surface and inter-web structure of the PVA nanofiber web. The resistance measurements indicated that polypyrrole-deposited PVA nanofiber webs fabricated by in situ polymerization with an average sheet resistance of 5.3 k(Ω/□). Polypyrrole-deposited PVA nanofiber webs fabricated by dip-coating showed an average sheet resistance of 57.3 k(Ω/□). Polypyrrole-deposited PVA nanofibers fabricated by in situ polymerization showed a lower line and sheet resistance; in addition, they detected the electrical activity of the heart during ECG measurements. The electrodes made from polypyrrole-deposited PVA nanofiber webs by in situ polymerization showed the best performance for sensing ECG signals among the evaluated specimens.

In situ 중합에 의해서 제조된 TLCP/PBT 블렌드의 특성 연구 (On the Properties of TLCP/PBT Blends Prepared by In Situ Polymerization in PBT Solution)

  • 주사슬에 triad 메소겐 단위와 butylene terephthalate (BT) 단위를 갖는 새로운 액정 중합체를 중축합에 의해서 합성하였다. 합성된 중합체는 nematic 액정상을 보였으며 액정상으로의 전이온도는 $260^{\circ}C$를 보였다. PBT 용액에서 in-situ 중합에 의해서 제조된 TLCP/PBT 블렌드들의 특성 조사는 DSC, TGA, SEM, XRD 그리고 DMTA를 이용하여 이루어 졌다. 블렌드들은 PBT 매트릭스내에서 $0.05{\sim}0.2{\mu}m$ 사이즈를 갖는 잘 분산된 TLCP상들을 보여 주었다. TLCP 농도가 5에서 20wt%로 증가함에 따라서 블렌드내의 순수한 PBT의 ${\Delta}Hm$은 증가하였다. 이는 TLCP가 PBT 매트릭스 내에서 조핵제의 역할을 하였기 때문이다. 블렌드의 기계적 성질들은 TLCP의 농도에 의존하였는데 이 또한 TLCP가 블렌드 내에서 보강제 역할을 하였기 때문이다. 액정상과 PBT 매트릭스 상간에 좋은 계면 접착력을 보여 주었으며 in-situ 중합에 의해서 제조된 블렌드는 용융 블렌딩에 의해서 제조된 블렌드들보다 더욱더 높은 기계적 성질과 잘 분산된 TLCP 도메인들을 보여 주었다.

  • In this study the subcritical crack growth behavior in an Al2O3-SiCw composite has been investigated using in situ fracture technique of applied moment double cantilever beam (AMDCB) specimens indside an SEM. This technique allows the detailed observation of whisker and grain bridging in the crack wake region. The experimental results indicated that the KI-a curve was deviated from the conventional powder law form and that the existed a region where the rate of microcrack growth was decreased with increasing the externally applied stress intensity factor. This behavior could be explained by arising crack growth resistance i.e. R-curve behavior which was associated with crack shielding due to whisker and grain bridging. The R-curve was also analyzed from the KI-a curve data in order to quantify the bridging effect in the Al2O3-SiCw composite.

  • Various reactions and the in-situ formation of new phases can occur during the mechanical alloying process. In the present study, Al powders were strengthened by AlN, using the in-situ processing technique during mechanical alloying. Differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction studies were carried out in order to examine the formation behavior of AlN. It was found that the precursors of AlN were formed in the Al powders and transformed to AlN at temperatures above $600^{\circ}C$. The hot extrusion process was utilized to consolidate the composite powders. The microstructure of the extrusions was examined by SEM and TEM. In order to investigate the mechanical properties of the extrusions, compression tests and hardness measurements were carried out. It was found that the mechanical properties and the thermal stability of the Al/AlN composites were significantly greater than those of conventional Al matrix composites.

전자현미경내 마이크로 절삭의 화상처리에 의한 절삭 기구 해석 (Analysis of Cutting Mechanism by Image Processing on Micro-Cutting in SEM)

  • This research analyzes the cutting mechanism of A1100-H18 of commercially pure aluminum by image processing in SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) for the measurement of strain rate distribution near a cutting edge in orthogonal micro-cutting. The distribution is measured using various methods in order. The methods are in-situ observations of cutting process in SEM, inputting image data, a computer image processing, calculating displacements by SSDA(Sequential Similarity Detection Algorithm) and calculating strain rates by FEM. The min results obtained are as follows: (1)It enables to measure a microscopic displacement near a cutting edge. (2) An application of this system to cutting process of various materials will help to make cutting mechanism clear.

In-situ 중합을 통한 그래핀/수분산 폴리우레탄 나노 복합체 제조 (Preparation of Graphene/Waterborne Polyurethane Nanocomposite through in-situ Polymerization)

  • 수분산 폴리우레탄(waterborne polyurethane; WPU)의 물리화학적/전기적 특성을 개선하기 위하여 그래핀에 이소시아네이트기를 도입하고 in-situ 방법으로 폴리우레탄을 중합하여 그래핀/WPU 나노 복합체를 제조하였다. 본 연구의 접근 방법으로 그래핀을 2 wt%까지 그래핀/WPU 나노 복합체에 도입하면 기존 WPU에 비해 인장강도가 57%, 전기전도도는 약 $10^2$배 정도 향상되는 결과를 얻었다. 또한 단순 블렌드 방법으로 만든 그래핀/WPU 복합체와 비교하였을 때, in-situ 중합 방법으로 제조된 복합체가 상대적으로 우수한 기계적 물성과 전기 전도도를 가졌다. 이것은 전자현미경을 이용한 복합체 단면의 형태학적 분석으로부터 이소시아네이트기가 개질된 그래핀(iGO)이 in-situ 중합 방법에 기인한 WPU 매트릭스와의 공유결합과 수소결합을 통하여 균일하게 분산되었기 때문이다.

  • Dielectric thin films of PLT(Pb(La.Ti)O3) for the application of highly integrated memory devices have been deposited on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates in situ by pulsed laser deposition(PLD). We have systematically investigated the variation of grain sizes depending on the condition of post-annealing and the variation of deposition rate. Both in-situ annealing and ex-situ annealing have been compared depending on the annealing time. C-V measurement, ferroelectric properties, leakage current and SEM were performed to investigate the electrical properties and the microstructural properties of Pb(La,Ti)$O_3$ films.

현장입도분석기를 이용한 섬진강하구 부유퇴적물의 특성 연구 (In situ Particle Size and Volume Concentration of Suspended Sediment in Seomjin River Estuary, Determined by an Optical Instrument,'LISST-100')

  • In situ particle size and volume concentration of suspended sediment was measured at the mouth of Seomjin River Estuary In February 2001, using an optical instrument, 'LISST-100'. Time variation of in situ particle size and concentration shows: (1) during ebb tide, Seomjin River supplies relatively fine-grained particles with less-fluctuated, compared to during flood tide, and well-behaved concentrations following the tidal cycle; and (2) during flood tide, relatively coarse-grained particles with highly variable in size distribution and concentration flow upstream from Kwangyang Bay. This explains a poor correlation $(r^{2}=0.10)$ between sediment concentration and beam attenuation coefficient during flood and a high degree of correlation $(r^{2}=0.80)$ during ebb tide. Relatively fine grained and well defined, monotonous size distribution may promote the correlation between concentration and beam attenuation coefficient due to optical homogeneity of particles during ebb tide. Abundance of large aggregates with time-varying size and shape distributions may be mainly responsible for variations in optical properties of the sediment during flood tide, and thus may confound the relationship between the two variables. The difference in particle sizes and shapes between flood and ebb tides can also be observed on SEM images.
