Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis with Position Embedding Interactive Attention Network

  • Aspect-based sentiment analysis is to discover the sentiment polarity towards an aspect from user-generated natural language. So far, most of the methods only use the implicit position information of the aspect in the context, instead of directly utilizing the position relationship between the aspect and the sentiment terms. In fact, neighboring words of the aspect terms should be given more attention than other words in the context. This paper studies the influence of different position embedding methods on the sentimental polarities of given aspects, and proposes a position embedding interactive attention network based on a long short-term memory network. Firstly, it uses the position information of the context simultaneously in the input layer and the attention layer. Secondly, it mines the importance of different context words for the aspect with the interactive attention mechanism. Finally, it generates a valid representation of the aspect and the context for sentiment classification. The model which has been posed was evaluated on the datasets of the Semantic Evaluation 2014. Compared with other baseline models, the accuracy of our model increases by about 2% on the restaurant dataset and 1% on the laptop dataset.

Effect of Electrical Muscle Stimulation Belt for Abdominal Muscles Activation

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the change in the thickness of abdominal muscles when electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is applied to the abdomen during rest and abdominal muscle exercise to investigate the effect of EMS applied to the abdomen on the superficial and deep muscles thickness. Design: Cross sectional design. Methods: Twenty healthy subjects participated in this study. Subjects were performed resting position, resting position with EMS, curl-up and curl-up with EMS. The electrode of the EMS belt is attached to the abdominal wall between the 12th rib and iliac crest. The thickness of abdominal muscles including rectus abdominis (RA), external oblique (EO), internal oblique (IO), and transverse abdominis (TrA) were captured in each position by ultrasound image during expiration. All subjects were performed four positions randomly. Data were analyzed using repeated ANOVA with the level of significance set at 𝛼=0.05. Results: The muscle thickness of RA, EO, IO and TrA were significantly different at each position (p<0.05). The thickness of all abdominal muscles increased significantly when curl-up than curl-up with EMS. Both RA and EO thickness were significantly increased at resting position than resting position and EMS were combined(p<0.05). But IO and TrA thickness were decreased at resting position when EMS were combined. Conclusions: The results suggest that EMS activates superficial abdominal muscles RA and EO. Therefore, abdominal strengthening exercise combined EMS can activate abdominal muscles and can be applied to various patients and rehabilitation in clinical practice.

Compensation of Initial Position Error and Torque Ripple in Vector Control of Two-phase Hybrid Stepping Motors (2상 하이브리드 스테핑 모터의 벡터 제어 시 초기 각 오차 및 토크 리플 보상)

  • This study proposes compensation methods for the initial position error and torque ripple in vector control of two-phase hybrid stepping motors. Stepping motors have an asymmetrical structure due to misalignment, such as the eccentricity generated by the manufacturing and assembly process. When vector control is applied using the position information measured by an incremental encoder attached to the rotor shaft of such stepping motors, the following problems occur. First, an initial position error occurs during the forced excitation process for the initial rotor position alignment. Second, torque ripple corresponding to the mechanical rotation frequency is generated. In this study, these non-ideal phenomena that occur in vector control of the stepping motor are analyzed, and compensation methods are proposed to eliminate them. The validity of the proposed initial position error and torque ripple compensation methods is verified through experiments on a two-phase hybrid stepping motor drive system.

The Relationship between Mother′Psychological Life Position and Children′s Social-Emotional Development (어머니의 심리극 자세와 유아및 사회정시 발달과의 관계)

  • This study investigated the relationship between mothers'psychological life position and children's social-emotional development. Subject consisted of 303 children and their mothers enrolled in preschool at Seoul. A sample of mothers completed the questionnaire and teachers rated the social-emotional development instrument. The results showed that children's social-emotional development differed according to their gender and age. And there were differences between mothers'psychological life position as a function of educational level and employment status. Mothers'psychological life position was related to their children's social-emotional development.

  • In this paper, we developed a position correction system of industrial robot for door-chassis assembly task. With the aid of a dedicated vision system, industrial robot accomplished visually acceptable door-chassis's assembly task. The alogorithm of the position detection of notch and 2 dimesional position correction algorithm are noteworthy. The obtained algorithms were satisfatorily implemented for a real door-chassis model.

  • Mines are classified as the attack, defense and protect mine depending on laying position. In case of the defense and protect mine for protecting the major ports, it is important to predict that mines are laid position for a safe maneveuring of friendly ships. Furthermore, the marine environment affects mines laying position. Therfore, this paper is studied on a prediction of mines laying position through the prediction of the marine environment.

Effects of Occlusal Appliance on the Mandibular Position and the Mandibular Rotational Torque Movement during Speech (교합장치가 발음시 하악위 및 하악의 비틀림 회전운동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was performed to investigate the effects of occlusal appliance on the mandibular position and the mandibular rotational torque movement during speech. For this study, 20 patients with temporomandibular disorders(TMDs) and 20 normal subjects without any signs and symptoms in the masticatory system were selected as the patient group and as the normal group, respectively. Biopak $system^{(R)}$(Bioresearch Inc., Milwaukee, USA) and a sentence of 'Sue is missing her house' were used for recording and for observing of speech pattern. There were five mandibular positions observed in this study, that is, mandibular rest position, 'ssi', 'her', 'ha', and 's' speech position. In each position, slant and A-P distance in sagittal plane, vertical distance and lateral distance in frontal plane were measured. Amount of the mandibular rotational torque movement were measured at 'her', 'ha' speech position and for all through speech movement. Centric relation splint(CRS) was placed in both groups, but anterior or posterior bite plane were placed in normal subjects only. Data collected were processed and analysed by SPSS windows program. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Mandibular positions in both groups were not different before adaptation, with CRS, and after removal, but total amount of the mandibular rotational torque movement was greater in patients. 2. Mandible was slightly placed anteriorly with CRS at 'her' and 'ha' speech position in patients, but was placed anteriorly at all the five positions in normal subjects. 3. Difference with type of occlusal appliance in normal subjects were noted only for vertical distance at 'ssi' and 'ha' speech position, and the distance with CRS were more than that with posterior bite plane. 4. Mandibular rotational torque movement at 'her' and 'ha' speech position was greater in patients, but the difference was disappeared after appliance removal. And the torque movement was greater at 'ha' speech position than that at 'her' speech position in frontal plane. It could be concluded that the adaptation of occlusal appliance showed a tendency to locate the mandible anteriorly during speech in both groups, but did not affect total mandibular rotational torque movement which was greater in patients.

Measurement of Uncertainty Using Standardized Protocol of Hand Grip Strength Measurement in Patients with Sarcopenia

  • Background: The aim of this study was to determine the accuracy and error range of hand grip strength measurement using various methods. Methods: Methods used for measurement of hand grip strength in 34 epidemiologic studies on sarcopenia were analyzed. Maximum grip strength was measured in a sitting position with the elbow flexed at 90 degrees, the shoulder in 0 degrees flexion, and the wrist in neutral position (0 degrees). Maximum grip strength in standing position was measured with the shoulder in 180 degrees flexion, the elbow fully extended, and the wrist in neutral position (0 degrees). Three measurements were taken on each side at 30 sec intervals. The uncertainty of measurement was calculated. Results: The combined uncertainty in sitting position on the right and left sides was 1.14% and 0.38%, respectively, and the combined uncertainty in standing position on the right and left sides was 0.35 and 1.20, respectively. The expanded uncertainty in sitting position on the right and left sides was 2.28 and 0.79, respectively, and the expanded uncertainty in standing position on the right and left sides was 0.71 and 2.41, respectively (k=2). Conclusions: Uncertainty of hand grip strength measurement was identified in this study, and a significant difference was observed between measurement. For more precise diagnosis of sarcopenia, dynamometers need to be corrected to overcome uncertainty.

Comparison of Sizes of Anatomical Structures according to Scan Position Changes in Patients with Interstitial Lung Disease Using High-Resolution Thoracic CT (고해상도 흉부 전산화단층촬영을 이용한 간질성 폐질환을 가진 환자의 자세에 따른 해부학적 구조물 크기 비교)

  • High-Resolution thoracic CT (HRCT) is a scanning protocol in which thin slice thickness and sharpness algorithm are utilized to enhance image resolution for diagnosis and assessment of interstitial lung disease (ILD). This examination is sometimes performed in both supine and prone position to improve sensitivity to early changes of these conditions. Anatomical structures (the size of lung field and heart and descending aorta) of 150 patients who underwent HRCT were retrospectively compared. HRCT had been conducted in two positions (supine and prone). Data were divided into five groups according to patient body weights (from 40 to more than 80kg, 10kg intervals, 60 patients/each group). Quantitative analysis was utilized in Image J program. In the supine position defined as the control group, the average values of lung fields and heart size and aorta were compared with the prone position defined as the experimental group. The size of the lungs was found to be higher in the supine position, and it was confirmed that there was a statistically significant difference in patients over 70 kg (p<0.05). In addition, both sizes of the heart and descending aorta were larger in prone position, but in the case of the heart, there was no correlation with the presence or absence of ILD disease (p>0.05). Also, the area of prone in the descending aorta was higher than supine position, but there was no statistically significant difference between supine and prone position (p>0.05). In conclusion, when the severity of ILD disease was severe, there was no statistically significant difference in the area difference between supine and prone position, so it is considered that it will be helpful in diagnostic decision.

Fatigue of the cervical muscles by prolonged cervical position (경부 자세에 따른 경부 근육의 피로도)

  • Purpose: This study is to identify the muscle fatigue and pain by various cervical positions in the VDT work. Methods: Twenty two volunteers (11 males and 11 females) participated in this study. Each subject gazes monitor in front of them for thirty minutes in the three cervical positions (neutral, 30 degree flexed, and 30 degree extended positions). Visual analogue scale (VAS) for the pain and pressure pain threshold(PPT) of the trapezius and levator scapula for the muscle fatigue were measured every fifteen minutes. Results: VASs after 15 minutes were $1.23{\pm}0.43$ in neutral, $3.0{\pm}0.93$ in flexed, and $5.27{\pm}1.03$ in extended position respectively and increased to $1.5{\pm}0.67$, $4.59{\pm}1.26$, and $7.73{\pm}0.98$ after 30 minutes. The order of magnitude of VAS was extended, flexed, and neutral position(p<0.01). PPTs in both sides of upper trapezius and levator scapula muscles were decreased at the three positions after 15 and 30 minutes respectively(p<0.01). There were no statistical differences of PPTs in neutral and flexed positions after 15 and 30 minutes(p<0.01). Extended position showed lowest PPTs in both side of upper trapezius and levator scapula muscles after 15 and 30 minutes(p<0.01). There were statistical differences of PPTs in extended position and the other two positions after 15 and 30 minutes(p<0.01). Conclusion: The cervical position that has the most influence on the cervical muscle fatigue and pain in the VDT work is extended position.
