This paper uses research on the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) in South Korea to conduct a simulation analysis on the impact of nuclear power dependency and usage rates on the social costs of power generation. We compare the $7^{th}$ basic plan for long-term electricity supply and demand, which was designed to increase nuclear power generation, to the $8^{th}$ basic plan for long-term electricity supply and demand that decreased nuclear power generation and increased renewable energy generation in order to estimate changes in social costs and electricity rates according to the power generation mix. Our environmental generation mix simulation results indicate that social costs may increase by 22% within 10 years while direct generation cost and electricity rates based on generation and other production costs may increase by as much as 22% and 18%, respectively. Thus we confirm that the power generation mix from the $8^{th}$ basic plan for long-term electricity supply and demand compared to the $7^{th}$ plan increases social costs of generation, which include environmental external costs.
This study aims to investigate the relationship between institutional distance and FDI and focuses on China's outward FDI. The institutional distance between China and the host country is measured using the institutional quality published by the World Bank. This study collects panel data from 50 countries in which China invested from 2008 to 2019 and use the panel GLS methodology to examine the factors affecting outward FDI through three models. First, this study examines the impact of the absolute value of institutional distance on China's OFDI across all countries in which China invests. Second, this study divides countries with positive and negative institutional distance to China into two groups and examine the relationship between institutional distance and OFDI in each group. Finally, this study examines the non-linear relationship between institutional distance and OFDI from China. To test this, this study adds the squared term of institutional distance to the model. The results of the analysis are as follows Institutional distance is positively related to China's OFDI. The relationship between institutional distance and OFDI is inverted U-shaped in the group of host countries with relatively higher institutional quality than China, but positive in the group of low-quality host countries. In addition, China's OFDI is affected by a combination of institutional and economic factors. The results of this study have implications not only for FDI host countries but also for MNCs' choice of FDI destinations.
The purpose of this study to empirically examine a smart work investment and job performance by change resistance. Firstly, There investigates mediating role of the communication between the smart work investment and the job performance. Secondly, It will identify the job productivity differences through a level of organizational change resistance that reduced smart work investment. The smart work is to provide the flexibility of time and location and is a working method to improve a work productivity of organization members. The introduction of smart work means the adoption of new organizational culture, institution and technology and requires a novel change of a custom and pattern on existing organization culture and institution because of transformation form of communication and collaboration. The method of this study adopts a structural equation model to test a mediating effect of communication and a moderating effect of change resistance level. This model confirms whether smart work investments provide a positive impact on communication and organizational productivity. In addition, I will classify a change resistance level of smart work by cluster analysis and then check a critical path difference of job productivity between each group. As a result, The organizational IT, institution and culture on the smart work investment appeared to important influencers in communication and also had a direct influence of individual performance. Also, The three independent variables of smart work investment have an indirect influence of individual and organizational performance through communication mediating variables. However, the organizational IT and institution as independent variables do not provide direct influence of organization performance. Nevertheless, two independent variables of organizational IT and institution have an indirect influence the organization performance through communication mediating variables. As a result of confirming a productivity of three groups on organization resistance, there was a difference the individual and organizational performance among groups. The low-level group of organizational resistance showed high coefficient value of performance compared to other groups. The group analysis implications, The smart work investment appeared significantly to revise the institution first, build culture secondly and advanced technology lastly. The theoretical implication from this study contributes an extension of social science theory through socio-technical systems, institution, culture, change resistance and job performance based on smart work. The practical implications explain the smart work success in step-by-step investment rather than radical investment as level management of change resistance. In future research, the smart work performance between private and public firms will analyze a difference of the organizational culture, institution, technology and performance.
Objectives: This study investigates the current state of consuming breakfast among elementary school students residing in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, and to identify factors that influence breakfast behavior. Methods: The research model was set up as per the health belief model, and slightly modified by adding the subjective normative factors of the theory of planned behavior. The survey was conducted from July 17 to August 15, 2017 using a questionnaire, after receiving the permission PNU IRB (2017_60_HR). Results: The subjects were 77 boys (49.4%) and 79 girls (50.6%) suffering from malnutrition with anemia (21.2%) and stunting ratio of Height for Age Z Score (HAZ) (11.5%). Furthermore, moderate weakness (14.8%) and overweight and obesity (12.3%) by Body Mass Index for Age Z Score (BMIZ) were coexistent. According to the results obtained for breakfast, 21.8% did not eat breakfast before school, with 18.8% of the reasons for skipping breakfast being attributed to lack of food. Even for subjects partaking breakfast, only about 10% had a good balanced diet. The average score of behavioral intention on eating breakfast was 2.60 ± 0.58. The perceived sensitivity, perceived severity, perceived benefits, and self-efficacy of the health belief model correlated with breakfast behavior. Of these, self-efficacy (β=0.447, R2=0.200) and perceived sensitivity (β=0.373, R2=0.139) had the greatest effect on breakfast behavior. Mother was the largest impact person among children. Conclusions: In order to increase the level of breakfast behavior intention among children surveyed in Indonesia, we determined the effectiveness by focus on education which helps the children recognize to be more likely to get sick when they don't have breakfast, and increase their confidence in ability to have breakfast on their own. We believe there is a necessity to seek ways to provide indirect intervention through mothers, as well as impart direct nutrition education to children.

Since the beginning of a new century, many Korean construction and engineering companies are facing a very dynamic and fast changing business environment which includes severe competition, higher risk, economic depression, declining revenues and profits, etc. In order to cope with these challenges, they need to secure special capabilities to actively adapt to the paradigm changes. One of those capabilities could be project management capability which allows us to manage organizational resources dynamically and integratively based on project portfolio management concept. The objective of this study is to investigate how the dynamic capability of a project-based organization to control the resource affects the firm performance and the competitive advantages. Data was collected from the construction and engineering companies in South Korea by using survey questionnaire, and analyzed for empirical tests by using statistical methods such as structural equation modelling and path analysis. The results showed that the organizational resources, if they had the VRIN characteristics, would have positive impacts on creating the dynamic capabilities for project organization. In turn, the dynamic capabilities of a project organization would have impacts on improving business performance and creating competitive advantages. Also, it was found that the organizational resources may have direct impact on business performance and competitive advantages. The academic contribution of this study is that it attempts to integrate resource based view and the dynamic capability theory about creating competitive advantages for project based organization. This study also provided practical implications to the companies in construction industry by showing how to use organizational resources strategically to create competitive advantages.
This paper investigates the relationship between psychological independence and entrepreneurial intention of college students and the importance of entrepreneurship through empirical analysis. Therefore, In June 2018. A total of 214 samples were collected from 220 collected samples. The main findings are as follows: Firstly, psychological independence has a positive (+) effect on the entrepreneurship, but it cannot make a direct impact on the entrepreneurial intention. Secondly, It is confirmed that the entrepreneuship has a significant positive effect on each of the entrepreneurial intention. Thirdly, it is confirmed that entrepreneurship has a fully mediating role in the relationship between psychological independence and entrepreneurial intention. Fourthly, It is confirmed that the higher the entrepreneurship among male students, the stronger entrepreneurial intention, but there is no sexual difference in the relationship between psychological independence and entrepreneurship, psychological independence and entrepreneurial intention. In this paper, it has been confirmed that it is important to create a preceding factor of the entrepreneurial intention like psychological independence.
In order to overcome the disadvantages of banner ad, pop-up ad, interstitial ad, which are existing web advertisement forms, native ad is actively utilized. Native advertising is considered to be a useful advertising technique in that it can reduce users' rejection and attract attention. However, in recent years, there have been a lot of fake news and fake contents that have turned articles or video contents into advertisements. The purpose of this study is to understand how firms can coordinate and control native advertisements in a rational way. For this analysis, we conducted a survey of 308 social media users using quota sampling method. As a result of the verification, it was found that the more negative the perception of the evaluation of the advertisement, the less the level of persuasion about the advertisement and the negative impact on the website where the advertisement is exposed. In addition, this study examined the influence of the negative stimulus factors on the qualitative performance of the firm. As a result, it was found that source non-expert had the highest effect on skepticism on ad. Also, platform overflow has a direct effect on the evaluation of the website as well as the negative evaluation of the advertisement. Moreover, this study provides concrete implications for the subdivision market by verifying the differences between the paths according to the level of website involvement.
The influence of COVID 19 has a direct impact on the education field. In the situation where non-face-to-face classes are inevitably required, interest in the learning satisfaction and intention to use real-time video conferencing is increasing. This study analyzed the effects of learner-teacher interaction, social presence, availability, self-efficacy and academic engagement as video conferencing characteristics and learner's characteristics on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, learning satisfaction and intention to use video conferencing. The results of this study showed that learner-teacher interaction, availability, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on perceived ease of use, and all variables except availability had a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Also, perceived usefulness and ease of use were factors that increased learning satisfaction and video conferencing use intention, and learning satisfaction was identified as variables that increased video conferencing use intention. This study has significance in that it provided various theoretical and practical implications for real-time video conferencing which will be used in many educational fields in the future through empirical analysis.
The main objectives of this study are to examine the effects of self-rated health on depression and to examine the moderating effect of satisfaction with social relationship and leisure on relationship between self-rated health and depression in the elderly with chronic illness. To do this, we analyzed 4,831 elderly people with chronic illness using the 10th Korea Welfare Panel data in 2015. To investigate the moderating effects of variables, we conducted a hierarchial regression analysis and confirmed the change $R^2$. As a result of that, first, subjective health, satisfaction with social relationship and satisfaction with leisure had a direct impact on depression. The results show that the better self-rated health of the elderly is, the higher satisfaction with social relationship is and the higher satisfaction with leisure is, the lower depression is. Second, it was found that satisfaction with social relationship and leisure was moderating variables in the relationship of subjective health and depression. This shows that the approach to the subjective aspect of the parties is important rather than the quantitative approach to the social interaction or leisure life. Based on this results, this study has proposed the implications and limitations of it and suggestions for further study.
In this study, the future expected discharges are analyzed for Daecheong and Yongdam Dam Watershed in Geum River watershed using A1B scenario based RCM with 27 km spatial resolutions from Korea Meteorological Agency and SWAT model. The direct use of GCM and RCM data for water resources impact assessment is practically hard because the spatial and temporal scales are different. In this study, the problems of spatial and temporal scales were settled by the spatial and temporal downscaling from watershed scale to weather station scale and from monthly to daily of RCM grid data. To generate the detailed hydrologic scenarios of the watershed scale, the multi-site non-stationary downscaling method was used to examine the fluctuations of rainfall events according to the future climate change with considerations of non-stationary. The similarity between simulation and observation results of inflows and discharges at the Yongdam Dam and Daecheong Dam was respectively 90.1% and 84.3% which shows a good agreement with observed data using SWAT model from 2001 to 2006. The analysis period of climate change was selected for 80 years from 2011 to 2090 and the discharges are increased 6% in periods of 2011~2030. The seasonal patterns of discharges will be different from the present precipitation patterns because the simulated discharge of summer was decreased and the discharge of fall was increased.
