After the artificial barrage was constructed in 1990s, the Geumgang estuary has been experiencing considerable changes in nature as well as in socioeconomic and culture in the vicinity villages. In order to understand how the change of estuarine environment bring about conflicts among the local communities, and resolve the conflicts, the research investigated the causes of the conflicts in the Geumgang estuary using in-depth and semi-structured interview method. 100 local people who have lived in the vicinity of Geumgang estuary for more than 30 years were selected for the interviews. Results of the research shows that local people's jobs determine the opinions about the estuary barrage and the way of estuarine management. Understanding environmental change and local conflicts helps to develop a sustainable and integrated estuary management system in the region.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to try to understand the essence of the experience early turnover of the new nurse by applying the phenomenological method and to provide basic data for a community-based management program. Method: Phenomenological approach was used to identify subjects experience. Subjects were five new nurses, with less than one year of clinical experience in clinical practice. This study used in-depth interview. Results: there were 104 meaningful sentences or phrases, with 41 generally comprehensive thema. Finally, thema were classified into 12 thema clusters. Conclusion: Finally, based on the results, some suggestions regarding management of early turnover of new nurses are needed. First, we proposed a new characterized of hospital selection method for each hospital. Second, practical training in clinical practice in the school and the community is necessary in order to reduce the real impact of new nurses. New nurses require various support elements in order to mitigate the real shock the first time they encounter clinical practice. Third, addition of work-related training and promotion of a self-esteem program will be needed. Fourth, interview opportunities with seniors who adapted successfully in clinical should be provided for new nurses. In addition, continuous communication should be provided for new nurses.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to understand and describe difficulties and needs experienced by head nurses in the clinical practice education of nursing students. Methods: A qualitative descriptive method was employed. A convenience sampling method was used to recruit participants from four hospitals in South Korea. Twenty-one head nurses participated in the first interview and 17 of them participated in the second interview. Data were collected through two in-depth interviews and field notes were written. Qualitative content analysis method was utilized for data analysis using ATLAS.ti 6.2 software. Results: Thirty-one codes and twelve categories were identified. Four themes emerged from data analysis, which included 'too many tasks', 'limitations of student education', 'many differences', and 'lack of support and resources.' Conclusion: This qualitative study described head nurses' many difficulties and needs in the clinical practice education of nursing students. The results of this study provide valuable understanding and knowledge of head nurses' experiences in students' clinical education, which leads to improvement of the quality of clinical education for nursing students.

The purpose of a study was the present condition comparative analysis by the case of Bakery in Hotels. The sample was selected first grade hotels in seoul. The method of research was In-depth interview. The questionee were mamagers and chefs each hotel bakery. Interview was accomplished average 45minutes. The period of the research was from 1th of Februrary, 2002 to 28th of February, 2002. The survay was composed of product operation, employee operation, equipment operation, customer operation, sales and bakery characteristics. the data was analyized by SPSS10.0 mean, maximum value and minimum value were salected. Recently, as it is getting higher of importance of bakery in the food service market and many major companies run into a bakery industry, the researches about bakery have advanced, however in fact, materials or researches about hotel bakery are fewer than franchise, in-store bakery and mass production enterprise. Especially, each hotel exchanges their information through benchmarking but data analysis - accurate materials, sales, the present condition equipment is not easy to perform. The purpose of this study was to be helpful for studying hotel bakery for others by analysis. The data was analyzed by each hotel characteristics, employee, equipment, sales, productions and the present condition sales.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of training programs for strengthening teachers' ICT competency and to suggest the ways to improve the existing ones. To do this, we conducted literature review, web survey with teachers, and in-depth interview with training program operators. The results of the online survey indicated that generally speaking, the programs had been operated desirably, although three programs(Thinking with Technology Course, Essential Course, e-PBL Instructional Design Course) needed to take additional efforts for their effectiveness and efficiency. According to the results of in-depth interview with training operators, they demanded re-training for lecturers, self career development, quality control of regional delivery training, expansion of training periods, and post-supports after training etc.

This study has attempted to explore the audience's visual attention about the subtitles types of CATV entertainment program. To achieve this, this research has measured the dwell time and average fixation data through the eye-tracking test and analysed the reason of particular visual attention by in-depth interview. According to the eye-tracking research findings, four types of subtitles(character metaphor, character metonymy, event metaphor, event metonymy) were measured the highest dwell time and average fixation time. Also, according to in-depth interview, visual attention was clearly turned up that event metonymy constructs the conflicts between characters and overstates the trip place romantically. This results means that staffs of intensify the reality and visual pleasure through event metonymic subtitles.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the digital media strategies for small business branding. To understand the effective strategies for promoting small business through digital content marketing, we conducted in-depth interview with small business managers. The results of in-depth interview revealed that it is critical for small businesses to start creating and including video marketing as part of their entire content strategy. Especially, small business managers considered that video that provides rich media content can boost consumer engagement and increase the time spent on a branded contents. From a managerial perspective, this study provides guide on what small businesses should consider when developing and implementing digital strategies. For future research, this study provides the guide to investigate the effects of digital contents on the brand equity of small business.

Korean population is now aging at an unprecedented rate. Fertility decline together with rapid improvements in life expectancy is the dominant demographic trend. As human life and housing environment are inseparably related to each other, the importance of conditions of housing environment for active aging among seniors has been received considerable attention as vital ones to expand the independency period of seniors. The purpose of this case study is to identify relationships between environmental affordance and perceived holistic health of the active elderly living in a retirement community located in Seoul. With spending time personally in the community to observe their lives, the researcher could be in close rapport with the residents. After the period of getting familiar with each other, in-depth individual interview and focus group interview were conducted and then, qualitative analysis was completed. As a result, general evidences showed that perceived seniors' health on the whole was improved physically, socially, and mentally by moving into the community providing appropriate environment affordance with the older adults. The study presents that retirement relocation into an improper environment may be a negative challenge, however, it may positively influence on the health and well-being of those who live there if the environment properly supports seniors‘ needs physically and socially

This paper analyzed the experience of case management experts and single mothers in managing the cases, as the useful approach for family enrichment of a low-income single parent family. The analysis included five case managements and interview with three case management experts for single-parent families. Four of the five cases have been in progress at present. According to the analysis, the main appeals for single-parent families were economy and basic life, physical and mental health, family and social relationships, and child care and education. Furthermore, the interview with the case management experts identified the difficulty in managing single-parent family cases, especially those cases with complicated demands and problems, barriers to expert management, and required support for family enrichment. Finally, this paper analyzed the implementation process of case management for single-parent families in a specific area, meaning that the results of this paper do not represent all single-parent families. Moreover, the analyzed reports were specific to the case management implementation process. Thus, the contents, which were not recorded in the reports, were not fully reflected, and the in-depth analysis of multilateral aspects was restricted.
