요양병원 간호사의 내·외적 통제신념과 임종간호 스트레스 및 피로 관계에서 임종간호 수행의 융복합적 영향 (Convergence Effect of Locus of Internal & External Control, Stress and Fatigus on the Geriaic Hospital Nurses' Terminal Care Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 요양병원 간호사의 내·외적 통제신념과 임종간호 스트레스 및 피로관계에서 임종간호 수행수준을 알아보고 임종간호에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 서술적 조사연구이다. 요양병원 간호사 422명을 대상으로 구조화 된 설문지를 사용였다. 자료분석은 기술통계는 SPSS Win 22.0와 가설적 모형의 적합도와 연구가설 경로분석은 Amos 5.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구결과 요양병원 간호사의 임종간호 수행에는 임종간호 스트레스, 피로, 내적통제신념이 유의한 상관관계가 나타났으며, 내적통제신념이 높을수록 임종간호 스트레스를 덜 받고 또한 임종간호 수행이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 요양병원 간호사의 임종간호 수행을 향상하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였으며, 요양병원간호사의 임종간호 스트레스와 피로를 감소시킬수 있는 전략적 프로그램 개발과 임종간호를 수행하는 요양병원 간호사에게 질적인 간호수행을 할 수 있는 교육이나 업무환경 개선의 노력이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

Development of a 3-D Immersion Type Training Simulator

  • In the current age of the information oriented society in which we live, many people use PCs and are dependant on the databases provided by the network server. However, online data can be missed during the occurrence of a blackout and furthermore, power failure can greatly effect Power Quality. This has resulted in the trend of using interruption-free live-line work when trouble occurs in a power system. However, 83% of the population receives an electric shock experience when a laborer is performing interruption-free live-line work. In the interruption-free method, education and training problems have been pinpointed. However, there are few instructors to implement the necessary training. Furthermore, the trainees undergo only a short training period of just 4 weeks. In this paper, to develop a method with no restrictions on time and place and to ensure a reduction in the misuse of materials, immersion type virtual reality (or environment) technology is used. The users of a 3D immersion type VR training system can interact with the system by performing the equivalent action in a safe environment. Thus, it can be valuable to apply this training system to such dangerous work as 'Interruption-free live-line work exchanging COS (Cut-Out-Switch)'. In this program, the user carries out work according to instructions displayed through the window and speaker and cannot perform other tasks until each part of the task is completed in the proper sequence. The workers using this system can utilize their hands and viewpoint movement since they are in a real environment but the trainee cannot use all parts and senses of a real body with the current VR technology. Despite these weak points, when we consider the trends of improvement in electrical devices and communication technology, we can say that 3D graphic VR application has high potentiality.

우리나라 미용 정보화에 대한 분석과 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement and Analysis of Beauty Information in KOREA)

  • 본 논문에서는 2004년 7월 31일 우리나라의 미용정보화 실태에 대해 조사 분석한다. 미용의 3대 주체에 대한 웹 서비스 조사에서, 교육기관 363개 중 정규교육기관은 100%, 사설 직업교육기관은 15.5%, 재료상 767개 중 8.74 %, 미용실 77,546개 중 0.38% 이었다. 소프트웨어는 12개의 미용고객관리 프로그램업체와 3개의 헤어기술 프로그램이 있었다. 미용기술을 보유한 전임교수의 부족으로 미용기술 정보화 자료 및 부가가치의 창출은 낮았다. 따라서 미용장협회와 보건복지부가 미용정보화 협의체를 구성하여, 미용주체별로 홈페이지를 연결하고 미용기술 자료의 웹 데이터베이스를 만든다. 미용정보 시스템의 통합화 및 공유화는 우리나라 미용에 대해 시너지 효과를 나타낼 것이다.

질 관리에 대한 간호사의 사고유형과 문제해결력 (A Study on the Nurses' Thinking Skills and Problem Solving Abilities for Quality Management in Healthcare Services)

  • Background : There have been many studies and efforts about quality management in health services, but these were not focused on the thinking ability of the personnel. In this study, We planned to define the relationship between Quality Management(QM) and thinking skill, and analyzed critical thinking skill and problem solving ability of the nurses for QM in healthcare. Methods : We surveyed 260 nurses in 3 hospitals by using questionnaires about thinking skills and QM from November 18 to 28, 1998. The response rate was 76.9%. We described and analyzed the data by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and non-parametric Friedman test using SPSS Win 7.5. Results : This study revealed that 1) understanding level of QM concepts was very low and insufficient, 2) willingness to practice QM in healthcare was relatively high and affirmative, but the positive attitude taking part in the program of QM is very low(4.5%), 3) even though the necessity of QM was recognized, actual application of critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities is lacking, 4) the production of idea for QM was the most insufficient, and so the next of the problem solving process(QA cycle) was the same. Conclusion : Based on the above results, we can conclude that understanding the concepts of QM is very important to solve problems about QM in healthcare. For development of thinking skill to promote critical problem solving ability for QM in healthcare, it is necessary to improve curriculum of nursing education and teaching-learning methods of QM strategy and technique.

일 농촌지역 노인의 건강지식과 건강증진행위 및 의료 서비스 욕구에 관한 연구 (A Study on Health Knowledge, Health Promoting Behavior and Needs for Healthcare Service in the Elderly in a Rural Area)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between health knowledge and health promoting behavior in the elderly. Methods: The participants of this study were 114 men and women over 65 years at P-myeon, Yeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Data were collected from March 1st to April 9th in 2011. The survey was carried out via the face to face interview using structured questionnaires. Results: Eighty nine percent of the participants responded that they were aware of the types of healthcare service. The most desirable service was 'long term care insurance system'. The average of health knowledge was 7.94 (${\pm}1.51$) out of 10 and average of health promoting behavior was 2.81 (${\pm}0.30$) out of 4. Health promoting behavior showed a positive correlation with health knowledge (r=.189, p=.044). Conclusion: The health promoting behavior in the elderly was related with health knowledge. Therefore, the enhancement of health knowledge is needed to improve health promoting behavior in the elderly. Education for self care and providing information for health care are needed for health maintenance and improvement in elderly. In addition, program development for providing health knowledge and nursing intervention for supporting health promoting behavior are in need.

디지털펜 기반의 건설현장 작업일보시스템 개발 (Daily Reporting System using Digital Pen at Construction Site)

  • 작업일보는 일일 단위로 계획과 실적이 기록되는 문서로 작업내용, 출력인원, 장비 및 자재 현황 등 다양한 정보를 포함한다. 하지만 작업일보가 여러 단계를 거쳐 수기 작성되는 과정에서 정보의 누락 및 왜곡될 수 있고 업무의 중복 문제가 발생하여 단순 보고에 이용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 작업일보시스템의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 디지털펜 기반의 작업일보시스템을 개발하고 그 적용성 평가를 위해서 실제 건설 현장에 적용해보았다. 그 결과 높은 문자 인식 정확도(94.610%)를 보여주었다. 그리고 정보를 입력하는 추가 업무가 제거되고 휴대 및 이동이 편리하며 사용을 위한 별도의 교육이 필요 없는 장점이 있었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 시스템은 현행 작업일보시스템의 문제를 해결하여 건설현장 문서업무 및 정보관리 효율 개선에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

간호대학생의 비판적 사고능력에 영향을 미치는 개인요인과 학교요인 (Individual and School Factors Affecting Critical Thinking Ability among Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors associated with the critical thinking ability of nursing students at the individual and school levels. The study adopted a descriptive design and recruited 465 nursing students from four nursing schools from November 2014 to September 2015 through convenience sampling. The Clinical Critical Thinking Skill Test was used to measure critical thinking ability, and the data were analyzed with the SAS ver. 9.4 program (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA) for descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, and multi-level model. The results showed that clinical practicum experience (${\beta}=-0.72$, p=0.025), taking critical thinking courses (${\beta}=0.63$, p=0.010), and taking simulation courses (${\beta}=0.56$, p=0.035) improved critical thinking ability in the individual level model. In the school level model, the interaction effect between the years of clinical practice done by the student and the presence of full-time clinical instructors was significant (${\beta}=1.29$, p=0.011). These results suggest that critical thinking ability improves with the more years of clinical practice individual nursing students have, and this improvement is greater with the presence of full-time clinical instructors in the school. Therefore, it is recommended that nursing students undergo critical thinking and simulation courses to develop their critical thinking ability, and dedicated clinical instructors in nursing schools should play a vital role.

표준화 환자를 적용한 시뮬레이션 수업이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력, 비판적 사고성향 및 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Simulation Practicum using a Standardized Patient on Nursing Students' Communication Skills, Problem-Solving Skills, Critical Thinking Dispositions, and Clinical Competency)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of standardized patient simulation on nursing students' communication skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking dispositions, and clinical competency. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest design was used. Data were collected from a convenient sample of 47 junior nursing students at W University. Scenarios to train SP and checklists to evaluate the students''competence were developed by our research team. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive analysis t-test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ using SPSS WIN 21.0 Program. Results: The simulation practicum using a standardized patient was conducted based on four steps, namely, selections of scenario modules, standard patient training, implementation, and evaluation. The differences between the pre and post-test scores of problem-solving skills(t=-2.94, p=.005) and clinical competency(t=-2.84, p=.007) were statistically significant. But communication skill(t=-.32, p=.747) and critical thinking(t=-.68, p=.498) was not different in group. Conclusion: Standardized patient simulation in nursing education may be useful the improvement of problem-solving skills and clinical competency.

정보활용능력 교수효과 평가 및 교과설계에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Information Literacy Program and the Development Ofits Design Principle)

  • 급변하는 정보사회를 살고 있는 개인들의 독립적인 평생학습(lifelong learning)의 필요성 대두에 따라 평생학습을 가능케 하는 주요한 자질로서 정보활용능력(information literacy)의 중요성이 널리 인식되고 있다. 몇몇 국가에서는 국가적 차원의 정보활용능력 기준을 제정하고 교과과정에 정보활용능력의 증진을 위한 프로그램을 도입하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 정보활용능력의 중요성을 인식하여 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 정규 교과과정의 개설도 확대되고 있는 상황이다. 본 고에서는 정보활용능력 관련 교과 수강생들의 자기효능감(self-efficiency) 평가결과를 기반으로 관련 교과의 교수효과를 확인하고, 교과설계 시 반영할 수 있는 시사점을 도출해 보고자 하였다. 연구결과로 교과과정이 수강생들의 정보활용능력 증진에 도움이 됨을 확인할 수 있었으며, 자기효능감 평가를 기반으로 교과과정 설계 시 반영할 수 있는 시사점들을 제시하였다.
