EFFECT OF VARIETY ON YIELD AND NUTRITIVE VALUE OF RICE STRAW

  • Seven varieties of rice were cultivated in the field of BLRI of which three were native (Maloti, Nizershail and Chandrashail) and four were improved ($BR_3$, $BR_{11}$, Pasam and Mala). Yields of straw and grain were recorded and the chemical composition of straw was determined. Both the grain (p < 0.05) and straw (p > 0.05) yields were higher in the improved than the native varities. Relationships of straw dry matter yield with the hights of rice plants, tiller numbers, levels of N fertilizer and lengths of stover were found to be statistically insignificant. No significant differences were observed among the varieties in respect of NDF, cell soluble, cellulose and hemicellulose contents. However, modified acid detergent fibre and insoluble ash content were significantly (p < 0.05) higher in the local varieties. Except $BR_3$, the estimated ME content of straw was higher in the improved than the native varieties. In respect of yield, chemical composition and energy content improved straws were better and Pasam was the best.

유자의 종류별 생리화학적인 특성과 향기성분, 총 페놀 함량 분석 (Biochemical Properties, Volatile Compounds and Total Phenol Contents of Yuza Variety)

  • 재래유자, 개량종 I(유자+탱자), 개량종 II(유자+유자) 세가지 유자의 종류별, 부위별 이화학적인 특성과 유기산, 지방산 및 향기성분을 분석하였고, 총 페놀 화합물을 분석하는 실험을 수행하였다. 중량은 재래종이, 껍질(혹은 껍질+씨)의 비율은 개량종이 높았다. 단백질은 재래종보다 개량종I의 껍질에서 다소 높게 나타났고, 회분도 개량종의 껍질에서 다소 높았다. Vit. C는 과즙의 경우 재래종에서 29.6mg%로 껍질에서는 개량종 I이 57.7mg%로 다소 높았다. 유리당은 과당이 주였는데, 개량종 I에서 가장 높은 함량을, 유기산은 구연산이 대부분을 차지하였는데, 개량종 II에서 가장 유기산 함량이 높았다. 유자의 지방산 조성은 리놀레인산이 가장 많았고, 과피와 과즙에서 품종별 특징을 보이고 있었다. 향기성분은 dl-Limonene이 향기성분의 64~70%를 차지하는 물질로, gamma-terpinene과 함께 개량종 II에서 유의하게 높았다. 유자에 함유된 총 페놀 함량은 품종별로는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 과즙에 비해 과피에 2.5배 정도 많은 양이 들어 있었다.

Analysis of AI Model Hub

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has recently grown explosively and is being used in a variety of application fields. Accordingly, the number of AI models is rapidly increasing. AI models are adapted and developed to fit a variety of data types, tasks, and environments, and the variety and volume of models continues to grow. The need to share models and collaborate within the AI community is becoming increasingly important. Collaboration is essential for AI models to be shared and improved publicly and used in a variety of applications. Therefore, with the advancement of AI, the introduction of Model Hub has become more important, improving the sharing, reuse, and collaboration of AI models and increasing the utilization of AI technology. In this paper, we collect data on the model hub and analyze the characteristics of the model hub and the AI models provided. The results of this research can be of great help in developing various multimodal AI models in the future, utilizing AI models in various fields, and building services by fusing various AI models.

섶종류별 견질 및 경제성에 관하여 (Cocoon Quality and Economical Advantages with the Various Cocoon Beds)

  • Utilization of the various cocoon beds were evaluated by raising the silkworm variety "Seul-ak${\times}$Soyang"according to cocoon quality produced in spring of 1969: Rotary cocoon bed, improved cocoon bed, grima cocoon bed, wood framed straw rope cocoon bed, and pine cocoon bed. In addition the economical analysis was made on the basis of cocoon price in spring of 1976. 1. The Rotary cocoon bed has economically much advantages in many ways; easy cocoon collection and percentage of best cocoon, percentage of cocoon shell, reelability and percentage of raw silk. It may give 8100 won for an extra income per box and increase by raising higher yielding variety. 2. The grima cocoon bed is superior to the wood framed straw rope cocoon bed, and the pine cocoon bed and it is comparatively easy set-up even though it is inferior to the improved cocoon bed in many characters.

  • 우리나라 수도 품종의 시대적 변천에 따른 그들 품종의 생육형질 및 수량구성형질들의 변이를 조사비교하여 앞으로 품종육성 및 재배기술 발전에 필요한 기초자료를 얻고자 연대별 주요품종을 5개씩 25개 품종을 공시하여 5대 품종군, 즉 ${circled1}$1907년대의 재래품종들을 GI군, ${circled2}$ 1920년대의 도입품종들을 GII군 ${circled3}$ 1930년대에 육성 보급된 품종들을 GIII군, ${circled4}$ 1950년대에 육성 보급된 품종들을 GIV군, ${circled5}$ 1971년 통일품종 육성이후에 육성된 품종들을 GV군으로 구분하여 이앙시기를 5월 15일, 5월 30일, 6월 14일 및 6월 29일의 4회로 하여 시험조사 하였는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다.

Rating and Comments Mining Using TF-IDF and SO-PMI for Improved Priority Ratings

  • Data mining technology is frequently used in identifying the intention of users over a variety of information contexts. Since relevant terms are mainly hidden in text data, it is necessary to extract them. Quantification is required in order to interpret user preference in association with other structured data. This paper proposes rating and comments mining to identify user priority and obtain improved ratings. Structured data (location and rating) and unstructured data (comments) are collected and priority is derived by analyzing statistics and employing TF-IDF. In addition, the improved ratings are generated by applying priority categories based on materialized ratings through Sentiment-Oriented Point-wise Mutual Information (SO-PMI)-based emotion analysis. In this paper, an experiment was carried out by collecting ratings and comments on "place" and by applying them. We confirmed that the proposed mining method is 1.2 times better than the conventional methods that do not reflect priorities and that the performance is improved to almost 2 times when the number to be predicted is small.

거시경제변수를 고려한 기술평가모형의 개선 : 기술보증기금의 사례 (An Improved Technology Appraisal Model Considering Macroeconomic Variable : A Case of KOTEC)

  • The objective of this paper is to provide an improved technology appraisal model, which considers a variety of macroeconomic variables such as consumer price index and producer price index. The improved model was built using cross correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis. The AUROC analysis showed that goodness-of-fit of the proposed model turned out to be improved than that of the existing model. The model proposed in the paper would be helpful for making a reasonable investments and financing decision, lessening the default rates by systematic risk management, and enhancing the technology commercialization capabilities.

인터넷 영양교육 참여 대학생의 식품섭취 다양성과 영양섭취와의 관계 (The Relationship between the Diversity of Food Intake and Nutrient Intake among Korean College Students Participating in a Nutrition Education Class via the Internet)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the diversity of food intake and nutrient intake among Korean college students participating in a nutrition education class via the internet. The subjects were 796 college students throughout South Korea (278 males, 518 females). A 3 days dietary recall survey was conducted and results were analyzed using the Computer-aided Nutritional Analysis Program. Dietary variety was assessed by DDS (dietary diversity score), MBS (meal balance score), and DVS (dietary variety score). Dietary quality was assessed by NAR (nutrient adequacy ratio), and MAR (mean adequacy ratio). As the DDS, MBS and DVS increased, the NAR and MAR improved. The subjects with a DDS of above 4 or a MBS of above 10 or a DVS of above 11 met two-thirds of the Korean recommended dietary allowance for most nutrients. The DDS, MBS and DVS correlated positively and significantly with the NAR and MAR. Associations between the NAR and high levels of DVS were more positive than those between the NAR and the DDS. Based on these results, the food intake of these subjects was not adequate. Specially, the dietary intake of calcium and iron were not adequate. Therefore, dietary guidelines should be made considering nutritional characteristics so as to improve the intake from all of the major food groups and provide a variety of foods in their diets.

여대생의 체질량 지수, 허리둘레 및 운동 습관에 따른 식사다양성 평가 (Evaluation of Dietary Variety by Body Mass Index, Waist Circumference, and Exercise Habits in Female University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess dietary variety by body mass index, waist circumference and exercise habits in 138 female university students residing in Bucheon and its adjacent area. Body mass index(BMI), waist circumference (WC) and exercise habits were assessed via a self reporting questionnaire, and a 3-day dietary recall survey was conducted by interviewing. Dietary variety was assessed by dietary diversity score(DDS), meal balance score(MBS), and dietary variety score(DVS). The average BMI, WC, DDS, MBS, and DVS were $20.7{\pm}2.59\;kg/m^2$, $69.3{\pm}5.03\;cm$, $3.87{\pm}0.57$, $7.27{\pm}1.48$, and $12.59{\pm}3.14$, respectively. The DDS for breakfast, lunch, supper and snack were $1.80{\pm}0.92$, $2.45{\pm}0.48$, $2.49{\pm}0.55$ and $0.53{\pm}0.52$, respectively. DDS, MBS, and DVS were not significantly correlated with BMI, WC and exercise habits. However, DDS for breakfast and supper were significantly higher(p<0.05) and lower(p<0.05) respectivly in subjects who exercised regularly compared to those who did not exercise regularly. And DDS for snack was significantly higher in subjects whose awareness of health status was good or somewhat compared to those whose that was bad(p<0.05). These findings suggest that nutritional education based on female university students' eating variety and regular exercise may be required to improved dietary variety.

개선된 해시기반의 RFID 상호인증 프로토콜 (Improved An RFID Mutual Authentication Protocol Based on Hash Function)

  • 2010년 Jeon-Kim은 상호인증 기법, 해시함수 및 비밀 키 업데이트를 이용하여 RFID 시스템에서의 다양한 보안상 문제점을 해결한 HMAP(Hash-based Mutual Authentication Protocol for RFID Environment)를 제안하였다. 안전성 분석을 통하여 Jeon-Kim은 HMAP가 도청공격을 포함한 다양한 공격들에 안전함을 증명하였다. 하지만 그들이 주장한 바와는 달리 HMAP 프로토콜은 도청공격으로 인해 다음 세션에서 사용하게 될 비밀 키가 노출되는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 보안성 분석을 통하여 HMAP의 문제점을 분석 및 증명하고 이를 해결하기 위해 개선된 해시기반의 RFID 상호인증 프로토콜을 제안한다.
