This paper proposes a real-time OFT implementation technique which is based on the finite-bit approximation of the DFT coefficients. The effect of the approximation is analytically investigated and its result is obtained in the form of an equation of noise to signal ratio. The analysis result is confirmed by comparing it with those of the computer simulation and the actual experiment for human sleep EEG data.

Large-scale distributed applications based on Internet and client/server applications have to deal with series of problems such as load balancing, unpredictable communication delays, partial errors, and networking failures. Therefore, sophisticated applications such as teleconferencing, video-on-demand, and concurrent software engineering require an abstracted communication. In this paper, we present our design, implementation and performance analysis of group communication using the CORBA ORB, JAVA RMI, Socket based on distributed computing. We anticipate our study may apply to the various field of applications such as fault-tolerant client/server system, groupware, scalable text retrieval system, and financial information systems.

The paper presents methodology and techniques for design and implementation of the SENKOV System based on the validation of set membership and dictionaries. And it performs verb concept classification available for establishing the selectional restriction relationships among adverbs and verbs. The paper is important in that it has made the first attempt at classifying Korean verb concepts for the semantic analysis. We select about 600 Korean verbs which are commonly used in the daily life, and implements the SENKOV System. According to results of the experiments, SENKOV has 44 top nodes and depth of average 2.35, and that it can be utilized to classify Korean verb concept for the selectional restrictions among adverbs and verbs.

The purpose of this study is to implement web-based quality cost management system to measure the performance of quality improvement activities in the business firms. Developed WQCMS(Web-based Q-Cost Management System) have ability to collect and analyze quality data generated from various different departments in the inside or outside of the enterprise without any limitations, if end-users are able to access wide area network. It provides the capability to integrate quality information from database and to generate various easy analysis reports to management's needs using built-in analysis tool modules with real-time. The proposed system was developed using Microsoft's .Net technology, ASP.NET and MS-SQL Server 2000. By web-enabling Q-cost management system, the effectiveness of the system management and utilization was realized by easiness of information integration and economical efficiency.

Study from Yogyakarta earthquake reconstruction program, cast-in-place wall using fix-size formwork system (Old-CIP) has offered a good alternative for house construction. A simulation has also confirmed that this system using mortar as the main material can provide cheapest cost and lowest total man power compared to conventional wall construction technique: brick or mortar-block wall. This paper presents the new wall construction technique: full size cast-in-place wall (New-CIP). The detail of how this new technique implemented is described. In addition, considering that material and labor cost in one area is different to others, cost analysis for different resources prices and wages of three cities are taken into a simulation. The analysis is aimed to distinguish the implementation feasibility of New-CIP system compared to the four common wall systems. Finally, its implementation resistance is also discussed.

This paper empirically examines the relationship between inter-Korean trade and inter-Korean relations over the past three decades. It asks two questions: (1) Does inter-Korean trade contribute to improved inter-Korean relations and peace on the Korean Peninsula? (2) Does improved inter-Korean relations lead to increased inter-Korean trade? The study employs a time-series causal relationship analysis methodology to answer these questions. The findings show that during the progressive government's reign, inter-Korean trade was not impacted by inter-Korean relations. This is due to the implementation of a political-economic separation policy towards North Korea. Moreover, the increase in general trade and processing on commission did enhance inter-Korean relations, reflecting the "inclusive policy" aimed at achieving peace on the Korean Peninsula through inter-Korean trade. In contrast, during the conservative government's reign, inter-Korean relations had a direct impact on inter-Korean trade, with deteriorating relations leading to a significant decrease in trade. This was due to the implementation of North Korea policies that were linked to politics and the economy.

The advanced development of the world's economies requires a detailed study of the impact of factors on the level of digitalization, to ensure economic growth and promote the use of information and communication technologies in the digital economy. Digitalization of the world's economies is ensured through the implementation of relevant regulations and policy decisions to implement public policy and strategy of the digital economy. The purpose of the study is to establish the pattern of the impact of factors on the level of digitalization of world economies by conducting a regression analysis to reflect the dependence of the impact of factors on the level of digitalization in 25 economies (by IMD digital competitiveness), to check the level of digitalization of the world's economies. It is necessary to analyze the ranking of countries in the world according to the DiGiX Index, IMD, and DESI Digital Competitiveness Rating. Research methods: information synthesis method; regression analysis; systematization, and generalization. Results. It was found that because of regression analysis, the value of the coefficient of determination indicates that the regression model by 78% explains the relationship between future readiness of countries to implement digital technologies and information and communication technologies, but there are still a small number of other factors not included in the regression model. It is determined that the greatest progress among EU member states for the period 2015-2020 according to the DESI index belongs to Ireland, the Netherlands, Malta, and Spain. It is established that Estonia, Spain, and Denmark are in the lead in the DESI rating, in terms of e-government implementation. The study found that the impact of factors on the level of digitalization of world economies contributes to solving current economic problems through further implementation of information and communication technologies and improving legislation in the digital economy, which will ensure the implementation of effective digital policy. It is established that ensuring the appropriate level of digitalization of the world's economies should solve the problems in the digital economy sector faced by governments and businesses, which requires the implementation of measures to regulate and ensure the continued operation of the digital economy.

본 연구는 디지털위성중계기의 우주인증 모델에 대한 성능분석 및 구현에 대해 기술하였다. 사전 성능 분석은 각 구성품 회로 시뮬레이션을 통해 각 구성품에 대한 요구 규격 대비 만족 여부를 사전 검증하고, 각각의 구성품을 순서대로 연결하여 전체적인 디지털위성중계기의 요구 규격에 만족하는지를 사전 검증하였다. 사전 시스템 성능 분석을 통하여, 각 구성품의 요구 규격을 정의하고, 그 규격을 바탕으로 제작하였으며, 최종적으로 시스템 통합하여 전체적인 디지털위성중계기의 성능 측정을 하였다.

The organizations that adopted ISO 9000:1994 have upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 family through transition period by December, 2003. This paper focuses on the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 QMS in Busan and Kyungnam provinces where most machinery and metal manufacturing companies are located. Based on the questionnaire survey, we calculate ordinal association measures of requirements questions, perform factor analysis, and test three hypotheses to ascertain if there is any difference in implementing ISO 9001:2000 QMS. Results show that a professional manager-CEO maintains QMS general requirements(4.1), work environment(6.4), measurement analysis and improvement general(8.1), and monitoring and measurement(8.2) better than an owner-CEO. In addition, it has been found that customer focus(5.2) and improvement(8.5) are well maintained in companies by internal developmental reasons, and infrastructure(6.3) and purchasing(7.4) are well maintained by companies with long term implementation.

This paper analyzed the implementation process of experts managing the case of grandparent and grandchildren families in the case management process, as the useful approach to strengthen the function of grandparent and grandchildren family. The methodology were the analysis on 6 management cases by step and the analysis on the interview with 3 experts implementing the case management on grandparent and grandchildren families. As a result, major complaints from grandparent and grandchildren families were basic livelihood and economy area, physical and mental health area, child care and education area and culture area. The service goals were set by such classification and support service was provided using the internal and external resources. The case management process was effective for improving the satisfaction on life by positively changing the grandchildren and promoting the psychological and emotional stability. 6 cases were under the post management after the analysis was completed and linked to the program 'Reinforcement of Family Ability of Grandparent and Grandchildren Family.' In accordance with the interview with the experts in case management, the grandparent and grandchildren family case management was characterized by high dependency and difficulty in expressing the desires. They required the long-term approach as well as the approach to restore the relationship with the original family.
