최근 사용자들이 협동적으로 이미지 주석인 태그를 만들고 활용하는 폭소노미 기반의 이미지 공유 사이트들이 많은 인기를 얻고 있다. 이러한 사이트는 사용자 질의에 대해 단순한 텍스트 매칭 기반의 검색을 수행하고 매칭되는 결과 이미지들을 포토 스트림 형태로 나열하여 보여 준다. 하지만 이러한 태그들은 매우 개인적이고 주관적이며, 이미지 역시 카테고리로 분류되어 있지 않기 때문에 검색의 정확도나 사용자 만족도가 떨어진다는 문제점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 태그를 기반으로 하는 이미지 검색에서 검색의 정확도를 높일 수 있는 폭소노미 이미지의 카테고리화 기법을 제안하고, 폭소노미 환경에서 생성된 태그와 이미지 정보를 모두 이용하며 의미적으로 유사한 이미지들끼리 분류된 검색 결과를 생성한다. 제안하는 기법의 성능 평가를 위해 폭소노미 이미지를 수집하고 텍스트, 이미지 특성에 따른 카테고리 분류를 수행하여 기존 검색 기법과 이미지 검색의 정확도를 비교한다.

이 연구는 영상콘텐츠 분야가 정권별로 어떤 의미 구조를 형성하고 있는지 분석하기 위해 의미연결망 분석 기법을 적용했다. 연구대상은 영상콘텐츠 석박사학위논문의 초록을 대상으로, 시기는 문화산업 도입기인 1993년부터 2016년까지이다. 분석대상 단어는 정권별 최상위 출현단어인 영상, 미디어, 교육, 콘텐츠 등 4개 언어의 의미연결망을 분석하였다. 분석방법에는 빅데이터 분석기법인 텍스트 마이닝과 의미연결망 분석을 활용했고, 분석프로그램으로는 R을 사용했다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, '교육'에 대한 영향력 감소이다. 초기 영상콘텐츠 분야는 영상과 관련한 '교육', 어떻게 '표현'할 것인지에 대한 연구들이 많이 실시되었으나 점차 감소 추세를 보였다. 둘째, '미디어'의 역할 변화이다. 중기의 영상콘텐츠 분야는 영상을 전달하는 수단인 '미디어'에 대한 연구들이 주로 실시되었으며, 더불어 '디지털' 기술에 대한 연구들이 강세를 보였다. 마지막으로 '콘텐츠' 위상의 변화이다. 노무현 정부를 시작으로 내용물의 질에 관련한 '콘텐츠'에 대한 관심이 증대하였으며, <박근혜정부>에는 '영상'과 '콘텐츠'의 위상이 거의 동등해져 연구들이 실시되었다.

멀티미디어 분야가 급성장하면서 좀더 효율적으로 멀티미디어 자료의 저장, 처리, 검색을 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히, 내용기반 시각정보 검색에 있어 지능형 시스템(Intelligent System)을 접목하여 의미적 접근을 시도하는 I-CBIR(Intelligent-Content Based Image Retrieval)에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 또한, 내용기반 이미지검색 시스템에 온톨로지(Ontology)의 이론을 적용하여 이미지에 의미를 부여하여 개념적 검색이 가능하도록 노력하고 있다. 이러한 연구에서 적용된 대형의 온톨로지는 이미지 검색 시스템에 적합하지 않게 너무 방대한 정보를 가지고 있으며, 또한 시대적 변화에 대응하지 못하여 I-CBIR 시스템에서 그 효율성을 제대로 발휘하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 많은 대형 온톨로지 중에서 WordNet을 선택하여, WordNet의 구축 방법에 기반한 자동차(Car)에 대한 도메인 온톨로지(Domain Ontology)를 구축해보고, 구축된 도메인 온톨로지를 적용함으로써 더 향상된 I-CBIR 시스템이 되도록 하였다.

Korean textile industry is faced a turning point, And the culture of a country itself is getting a main competetive items. Therefore, this study is focused upon developing fashion items of Korean image. For this study purpose, I carried out literature review and questionnaires were surveyed with 129 women, to see how Korean women interested in costume are conscious of Korean image and the way to develop Korean image fashion items. The study results are as follows. 1. To Koreans, the elements of Korean image were Hanbok(Korean traditional cloths) and Saeckdong(traditional multi-coloured stripes), but to foreigners they were national image. 2. To develop competetive fashion items of Korean image, I recommend as follows. - set up a typical key-word of Korean image - promote top designer - globalization of Hanbok - take advantage of 2002 Wold Cup - bring Korean image fashion into vogue to the younger from domestic to abroad - make Korean image into universal fashion - start with accessories, hats, bags, scarves

본 연구는 공공기관이 소장한 이미지데이터의 검색 및 열람 등의 활용성을 높이기 위한 전문검색서비스 구현 시 필수적인 문서인식시스템의 고도화를 목표로 한다. 주요한 연구방향은 공공기관이 소장하고 있는 데이터를 사전에 분석하여 문서이미지 전처리 및 문서구조분석 기술을 개발하고, 문서인식 과정에서 활용하기 위한 이미지내용DB, 문자모델DB, 용어DB로 구성되는 특화된 지식베이스를 구축하는 것이다. 또한, 지식베이스 관리도구를 개발하여 향후 다양한 형태의 문서이미지로의 확장을 가능하게 한다. 최근 본 연구는 국가기록원에서 소장하고 있는 이미지데이터에 적합한 문서구조분석 라이브러리와 특화된 지식베이스를 결합한 문서인식 프로토타입 시스템 개발을 완료했다. 향후 본 연구의 결과는 방대한 소장자료의 검색 및 활용을 극대화할 전문검색시스템 연계를 위한 성능평가 및 테스트베드 구축에 활용될 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of restaurant atmosphere on its image and customers' emotional responses and behavior. The results of this study indicated that perceived restaurant atmospheres had a significant effect on customers' emotional responses, and these emotional responses greatly influenced the image of a restaurant. Especially, the ambient and cleanliness factors of restaurant atmosphere influenced a restaurant image, and the positive image from those factors had a significant effect on customer behavior. The design and human factors of restaurant atmosphere influenced customer behavior, and the positive image from those factors had a significant effect on customer behavior. Finally, it was verified that the restaurant atmospheric factors affected its image and customers' emotional responses and behavior. Moreover, the better the restaurant atmospheric factors(design, ambient, cleanliness, humanity) are, the better customers' emotional responses and image are, thereby increasing customers' revisiting and word-of-mouth intention.

A 1-chip high quality binarizing VLSI image processor (which has 8 bit ADC. 6 bit flash ADC, 15K standard cell, and 1K word ROM) based on 10 MIPS 16 bit DSP is implemented for FAX. This image processor(IP) performs image pre-processing. image quality improvement in copying and sending mode, and mixed image processing based on the fuzzy theory. And smoothing in sub-scan direction is applied for normal receiving mode data so the received data is enhanced like fine mode data. Each algorithm is processed with the same type of image processing window and 2-D image processing is implemented with a 1-D line buffer. The fabricated chip is applied to a FAX machine and image quality improvement is verified.

Object recognition and object location have always drawn much interest. Also, recently various computational models have been designed. One of the big issues in this domain is the lack of an appropriate model for extracting important part of the picture and estimating the object place in the same environments that caused low accuracy. To solve this problem, a new Salient Based Bag of Visual Word (SBBoVW) model for object recognition and object location estimation is presented. Contributions lied in the present study are two-fold. One is to introduce a new approach, which is a Salient Based Bag of Visual Word model (SBBoVW) to recognize difficult objects that have had low accuracy in previous methods. This method integrates SIFT features of the original and salient parts of pictures and fuses them together to generate better codebooks using bag of visual word method. The second contribution is to introduce a new algorithm for finding object place based on the salient map automatically. The performance evaluation on several data sets proves that the new approach outperforms other state-of-the-arts.

본 사례 연구의 목적은 중학교 1학년 학생 2명을 대상으로 실시한 수업에서 공변 추론 수준에 따른 연립방정식 문장제를 해결하고 일반화하는 과정에서 나타나는 유사성을 비교·분석하는 것이다. 그 결과, 값의 조정 수준으로 추론하는 학생 S는 연립방정식 문장제에 주어진 양들에 대해 정적인 이미지를 가졌고, 부드러운 연속 공변 수준으로 추론하는 학생 D는 문제 상황의 양들에 대해 동적인 이미지를 갖고 양들 사이의 불변인 관계를 식과 그래프로 나타내었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 연립방정식 문장제의 학습에서 공식이나 전략의 사용에 앞서 주어진 상황에서 다양한 양들 사이의 관계를 추론하는 활동이 문제해결력 신장에 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 학생들의 공변 추론을 강화하기 위한 대수 교수·학습 방안에 대한 논의가 앞으로도 계속 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.
