This study aims to analyze the representation forms of bloggers' personal style on the fashion blogs and enlighten their values which can be actively applied to design and marketing in fashion industry. Image representation of fashion bloggers is reflected by the characteristics in the digital environment, which are the creative manipulation of expression and the production of virtual and fantastic images by taking advantage of the composite medium such as images, music, videos, articles, etc. Also real time updates in blog indicate the latest trends in terms of the representation of image as the actual currency. The study conducted case studies of 5 women's personal fashion blogs through the verification of a variety of global fashion media and blog ranking sites: Style Bubble, Style Rookie, The Cherry Blossom Girl, The Blond Salad, and Fashion Toast. Research findings are as follows. First, the application of creative design elements is indicated as symbolic items, self-made designs, DIY, and various mix and match emphasizing design elements such as color, patterns, proportion, etc. Second, the virtual representation is very highlighted on the story telling applied by film like production or digital effect. Third, the commercial application with mainly sponsored wardrobe and designer collaboration indicates promoting a updated trend as well as a specific brand or designer to make their business profits.

The purpose of this study is to pointed artistic representation design on fashion through observation, integrating of the formative arts. Above all, designing principle should be considered with trend, styling ,coloring. Suggested designing study is the essence of present methods. ① Clothing as an art ② Expression in fashion design ③ Creation of the artistic sense ④ The various techniques of design ⑤ Perform the steps of design (Ⅰ) ∼ (Ⅲ) That is to say, fashion is reflected in the spirit of painters as well as designers. Art is close and common relationship between individual will-to-form and the sense of value. Thus Art wear is represented the minute expression of designing the function with artistic originality. Fashion design is demanded to do motivation by means of artistic representation. 2. Smart, sophisticated image effects, avoiding posterlike garish appearance. 3. It is supported for fashion information which is relating to design through industry society.

MPEG-NNR (Compressed Representation of Neural Networks) aims to define a compressed and interoperable representation of trained neural networks. In this paper, a compressed representation of NN and its evaluation performance along with use cases of image/video compression in MPEG-NNR are presented. In the compression of NN, a CNN to replace the in-loop filter in VVC (Versatile Video Coding) intra coding is compressed by applying uniform quantization to reduce the trained weights, and the compressed CNN is evaluated in terms of compression ratio and coding efficiency compared to the original CNN. Evaluation results show that CNN could be compressed to about quarter with negligible coding loss by applying simple quantization to the trained weights.

With the current of the end of a century and social, economic, political, and cultural turbulence, people take advantage of the various ways to express their stagnation. This study introduces the term representativity and it will explain the men's fashion of the end of a century. On a theoretical basis, the concept of the representativity, image, symbol and imitation which are used as a tool for expression will be examined, and together with this, inner representation and outer representation will be categorized. The inner representation of the men's fashion in the end of a century can be taken for the purpose of connecting the image of masculinity. The image of masculinity is widely spread owing to the mass communication of a consumption-oriented society, so its hard to define that image as one thing specific. Hence, in order to discuss the male gender and mens fashion, New Man phenomenon should be noticed of. 1980's New Man influence has lasted till now. New Man images were largely categorized into two images like New Lad and Iron John after the mid 1990's. Therefore, the image of masculinity is largely classified New lad, who desires success and pursues the hedonistic life style and Iron John, who enjoys thrill and follows economical life style. The image of masculinity has influence on the outer representation how it is imitated and symbolized via many designer's works and street fashion. Two masculinity images are dominant over the men's fashion of the end of a century. One is inhumane and rational corporate power look that stems from symbolization and imitation of New Lad. The other is outdoor casual that originated from the symbolization and imitation of Iron John.

본 논문에서는 영상을 비전 중심점 이동에 따라 정밀하게 표현할 수 있는 형태 기술자를 제안하고, 이를 이용하여 영상이 표현되는 방법을 조사하였다. 제안된 기술자는 영역의 중심점에 모든 영역의 크기가 집중되어 있도록 표현하는 방법이며, 이 비전의 중심점을 다른 관심영역으로 이동시킴으로써 좀 더 정밀한 영상표현도 가능하게 되었다. 이는 또한 영역의 크기 정보를 포함하고 있어서 더욱 효과적이다. 영상의 윤곽선이 제안된 기술자에 의해 정밀하게 표현될수록 영상 내용 검색 등에는 더욱 효과적으로 이용될 수 있다. 제안된 형태 기술자는 정규화가 가능하여 크기, 위치, 회전에 무관하게 표현될 수 있으며, 일정한 영상 패턴으로 구성된 데이터베이스 시스템을 만들 수 있다. 제안된 형태 기술자를 이용하여 실루엣 영상 검색에 적용하여 실험하였으며, 실험 결과, 영상 표현에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음을 보였다.

The politics penetrating through the contemporary art since modernism to postmodernism is to accomplish the 'Non-representation' in the artworks. This study argues that postmodernism did not put an end to the formalistic feature of modernism but intended to accomplish it. Modernist art aimed at purity, i.e. self-referential and self-definition art advocated by Clement Greenberg, and it carne to the end by accomplishing flatness and materiality. It was an 'evasion to the matter' which allocated the object from visuality of outer object to the psychic image of the subject. It failed being 'non-representational' as what it really achieved was transition of object. Jean Baudrillard's theory tried to overcome the representational quality by 'being simulacre'. In the representative artworks of the past, the meaning of artworks was reverted under the outer context or object. The meaning again failed being 'Non-representational' as it was restored to the psychic image of the subject in modernist artworks where the definite illusion was demolished Meanwhile, artwork advocating simulacre acquired Non-representational quality by liberating from both models. It did not deconstruct the self-referential tendency of modernism but maximized the Non-representational modernistic principle. After creating 'Non-representation' through simulacre, the existential status and function of an artwork is the inclination and moral of contemporary art as 'Non-representation'. The image theory of Henri Bergson sets the existential status of 'image' as it does not belong to either subject nor object. It provides significant foundation for arguing the existential status of simulacre. Moreover, though an artwork as a fragment forming a movement image in the world cannot represent the object, it can however sustain certain kind of fractal resemblance with the world by letting the two parties communicate. The theory of sense by Gilles Deleuze is of profound significance as it specifically indicated way how the stage of absorption through the unity of subject and object is realized in forms of artworks, and configured the latent and invisible energy.

This paper proposed signal decomposition and multiresolution representation through wavelet transform using wavelet orthonormal basis. And it suggested most appropriate filter for scaling function in multiresoltion representation and compared two compression method, arithmetic coding and Huffman coding. Results are as follows 1. Daub18 coefficient is most appropriate in computing time, energy compaction, image quality. 2. In case of image browsing that should be small in size and good for recognition, it is reasonable to decompose to 3 scale using pyramidal algorithm. 3. For the case of progressive transmittion where requires most grateful image reconstruction from least number of sampls or reconstruction at any target rate, I embedded the data in order of significance after scaling to 5 step. 4. Medical images such as information loss is fatal have to be compressed by lossless method. As a result from compressing 5 scaled data through arithmetic coding and Huffman coding, I obtained that arithmetic coding is better than huffman coding in processing time and compression ratio. And in case of arithmetic coding I could compress to 38% to original image data.

부분 기반 영상 표현(part-based image representation)에서는 영상의 부분적인 모습을 기저 벡터로 표현하고 기저 벡터의 선형 조합으로 영상을 분해하며, 이 때 기저 벡터의 계수가 곧 물체의 부분적인 특징을 의미하게 된다. 본 논문에는 부분 기반 영상 표현 기법인 비음수 행렬 분해(non-negative matrix factorization, NMF)를 이용하여 얼굴 영상을 표현하고 신경망 기법을 적용하여 가려진 얼굴을 인식하는 얼굴 인식을 제안한다. 표준 비음수 행렬 분해, 투영 경사 비음수 행렬 분해, 직교 비음수 행렬 분해를 이용하여 얼굴 영상을 표현하였고, 각 기법의 성능을 비교하였다. 인식기로는 학습벡터양자화 신경망을 사용하였으며, 인식기에서의 거리 척도로는 유클리디언 거리를 사용하였다. 실험 결과, 전통적인 얼굴 인식 방법에 비하여 제안한 기법이 가려진 얼굴 인식에 보다 강인함을 보인다.

The adaptive sparse representation (ASR) can effectively combine the structure information of a sample dictionary and the sparsity of coding coefficients. This algorithm can effectively consider the correlation between training samples and convert between sparse representation-based classifier (SRC) and collaborative representation classification (CRC) under different training samples. Unlike SRC and CRC which use fixed norm constraints, ASR can adaptively adjust the constraints based on the correlation between different training samples, seeking a balance between l₁ and l₂ norm, greatly strengthening the robustness and adaptability of the classification algorithm. The correlation coefficients (CC) can better identify the pixels with strong correlation. Therefore, this article proposes a hyperspectral image classification method called correlation coefficients and adaptive sparse representation (CCASR), based on ASR and CC. This method is divided into three steps. In the first step, we determine the pixel to be measured and calculate the CC value between the pixel to be tested and various training samples. Then we represent the pixel using ASR and calculate the reconstruction error corresponding to each category. Finally, the target pixels are classified according to the reconstruction error and the CC value. In this article, a new hyperspectral image classification method is proposed by fusing CC and ASR. The method in this paper is verified through two sets of experimental data. In the hyperspectral image (Indian Pines), the overall accuracy of CCASR has reached 0.9596. In the hyperspectral images taken by HIS-300, the classification results show that the classification accuracy of the proposed method achieves 0.9354, which is better than other commonly used methods.

Recently, Vector of Locally Aggregated Descriptors (VLAD) has been proposed to index image by compact representations, which encodes powerful local descriptors and makes significant improvement on search performance with less memory compared against the state of art. However, its performance relies heavily on the size of the codebook which is used to generate VLAD representation. It indicates better accuracy needs higher dimensional representation. Thus, more memory overhead is needed. In this paper, we enhance VLAD image representation by using two level hierarchical-codebooks. It can provide more accurate search performance while keeping the VLAD size unchanged. In addition, hierarchical-codebooks are used to construct multiple inverted files for more accurate non-exhaustive search. Experimental results show that our method can make significant improvement on both VLAD image representation and non-exhaustive search.
