PCB 납땜 검사를 위한 X선 단층 영상 시스템의 해석 및 설계 (The analysis and design of X-ray cross sectional imaging system for PCB solder joint inspection)

  • The more integrated and smaller SMD are needed, new solder joints packaging technologies are developed in these days such as BGA(Ball Grid Array), Flip Chip, J-lead etc. But, it's unable to inspect solder joints in those devices by visual inspection methods, because they are hided by it's packages. To inspect those new SMD packages, an X-ray system for acquiring a cross-sectional image of a arbitrary plane is necessary. In this paper, an analysis for designing X-ray cross sectional imaging system is presented including the way for correcting the distortion of image intensifier. And we show computer simulation of that system with a simple PCB model to show it's usefulness in applying PCB solder joint inspection.

Resolution Analysis of Axially Distributed Image Sensing Systems under Equally Constrained Resources

  • In this paper, a unifying framework to evaluate the depth resolution of axially distributed image sensing (ADS) systems under fixed resource constraints is proposed. The proposed framework enables one to evaluate the system performance as a function of system parameters such as the number of cameras, the number of pixels, pixel size, and so on. The Monte Carlo simulations are carried out to evaluate ADS system performance as a function of system parameters. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on quantitative analysis of ADS systems under fixed resource constraints.

영상 접합을 이용한 산불 감시 시스템 (Wild Fire Monitoring System using the Image Matching)

  • 산불 발생 시, 조기 발견 여부는 피해 규모의 정도를 좌우하는 중요한 요소이다. 본 논문은 산불 초기 발견과 위치 및 규모를 효과적으로 파악하기 위하여 PAN/TILT 동작이 가능한 단일 카메라로부터 파노라믹 영상을 구성하여 효율적으로 산불을 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 입력된 RGB 이미지를 YCrCb 이미지로 색상 변환한 후, 차영상을 추출하여 연기의 움직임 변화를 감지함으로써 산불 후보 영역을 추출한다. 산불 후보 영역은 히스토그램 분석을 통한 불꽃 검출로 화재 여부를 판단하도록 한다. 또한 SURF와 영상 접합을 이용한 파노라믹 이미지를 지원한다. 이는 다음과 같은 장점들을 가진다. 첫째, 한대의 카메라와 한 대의 모니터를 사용하므로 경제적인 시스템 구성이 가능하다. 둘째, 파노라믹 영상을 통해 넓은 뷰를 한 번에 확인함으로써 실재감 있는 규모 확인 및 조기발견이 가능하다. 셋째, 구축된 파노라믹 영상을 저장함으로써 데이터의 양을 줄일 수 있다.

컴퓨터 이미지 분석법을 이용한 마우스 골수세포에서 소핵의 계수 (Computerized Image Analysis of Micronucleated Reticulocytes in Mouse Bone Marrow)

  • The present study was performed to validate an automated image analysis system (Loats Automated Micronucleus Scoring System) for the mouse bone marrow micronucleus assay, comparing with conventional microscopic scoring. Two studies were conducted to provide slides for a comparison of micro-nucleated polychromatic erythrocytes (MNPCEs) values collected manually to those collected by the auto-mated system. Test article A was used as an example of a compound negative for the induction of micronuclei and test article B was wed as a micronucleus-inducing agent to elicit a positive response. Cyclophosphamide was included to provide an positive control in two studies. Bone marrow samples were collected 24 h after administration of test article A and B in male ICR mice. The cells were fixed with absolute methanol and stained with May-Grunwald and Giemsa. The number of MNPCEs was determined by the analysis of 1000 total PCEs per bone marrow sample. In addition to micronucleus scoring, an index of bone marrow toxicity based on PCE ratio (% of PCEs to total erythrocytes) was determined for each sample. The automated and manual scoring was similar when the MNPCEs incidence induced by each test article was less than 10. However manual scoring was able to effectively enumerate micronucleated PCEs in mouse bone marrow when MNPCEs incidence was more than 10, such as cyclophosphamide treatment. Conversely, PCE ratio was superior in computer-assisted image analysis. Taken together, it is suggested that improvement of the automated image analysis may be necessary to render the automatic scoring as sensitive as manual scoring for routine counting of micronuclei, especially because it is superior in objectivity and high throughput scoring.

Image Enhancement of Simplified Ultrasonic CT Using Frequency Analysis Method

  • In this paper, a simplified ultrasonic CT system, which uses the information in three directions, that is, 90°, +45° and -45°about the inspection plane, is applied to the high strength steel, and the frequency analysis method for enhancing the C scan or CT image is developed. This frequency analysis method is based on the frequency response property of the material. By comparing the magnitudes in the frequency domain, the special frequency which shows a significant difference between the welded joint and base material was found and used to obtain a C scan or CT image. Experimental results for several kinds of specimens, having a welded joint by electron beam welding, a weld joint by arc welding, on a fatigue crack, showed that the obtained C scan or CT image has better resolution than the results of previous experiments using the maximum value of the received waveform.

디지털 x-ray 영상시스템을 위한 무선 트리거 발생기 (Wireless Triggering Pulse Generation for Digital X-ray Imaging System)

  • 본 논문에서는 x-ray 영상시스템의 영상을 획득하기 위하여 x-ray 발생기와 영상획득시스템 사이의 동기를 맞추어 주는 트리거 발생기를 연구분석 하였다. 무선 트리거 발생기는 디지털영상 획득시스템으로부터 영상획득의 시작을 지시할 수 있는 ACQ_START 신호와 영상획득의 끝을 알리는 ACC_END 신호를 발생시킬 수 있도록 설계하였다. 디지털 영상의 획득은 ACQ_START 신호와 ACQ_END 신호 사이의 시간동안에만 정확하게 이루어지며 무선 원격 x-ray 신호의 검출을 통하여 유선통신 프로토콜 없이 정확한 x-ray 영상의 획득이 가능하고 20 mAs 의 x-ray 레벨에서 3.5 line pair /mm 분해능을 나타냄을 확인하였다.

지능형 전방위 영상 분석 시스템 제안 및 구현 (Proposal and Implementation of Intelligent Omni-directional Video Analysis System)

  • 본 논문에서는 초광각 카메라를 활용한 전방위 영상 및 객체 추적 결과 영상 표출을 통한 영상 분석 시스템을 제안한다. 구형 전방위 영상 생성을 위해 광각 영상 두 개에서 equirectangular 파노라마 영상으로의 projection 과정을 거쳤고, 구면 좌표계 변환식을 사용하여 구형 영상으로 표출하였다. 객체 추적은 원하는 객체를 초기에 선택하는 방식으로 수행되었으며, equirectangular 영상 내 왜곡으로 인한 객체 형태 변화에도 강인한 객체 추적이 이루어질 수 있도록 KCF(Kernelized Correlation Filter) 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 초기 다이얼로그에서는 파일 및 모드를 선택하고, 이후 새 다이얼로그에서 구형 영상 매핑 수행 결과 영상이 표출되도록 하였으며, 객체 추적 모드를 선택한 경우 새로운 창에서 원하는 영역을 드래그하여 ROI를 설정한 뒤, 이를 매 프레임마다 추적할 수 있도록 하였다.

Applicability of Geo-spatial Processing Open Sources to Geographic Object-based Image Analysis (GEOBIA)

  • At present, GEOBIA (Geographic Object-based Image Analysis), heir of OBIA (Object-based Image Analysis), is regarded as an important methodology by object-oriented paradigm for remote sensing, dealing with geo-objects related to image segmentation and classification in the different view point of pixel-based processing. This also helps to directly link to GIS applications. Thus, GEOBIA software is on the booming. The main theme of this study is to look into the applicability of geo-spatial processing open source to GEOBIA. However, there is no few fully featured open source for GEOBIA which needs complicated schemes and algorithms, till It was carried out to implement a preliminary system for GEOBIA running an integrated and user-oriented environment. This work was performed by using various open sources such as OTB or PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Some points are different from the widely-used proprietary GEOBIA software. In this system, geo-objects are not file-based ones, but tightly linked with GIS layers in spatial database management system. The mean shift algorithm with parameters associated with spatial similarities or homogeneities is used for image segmentation. For classification process in this work, tree-based model of hierarchical network composing parent and child nodes is implemented by attribute join in the semi-automatic mode, unlike traditional image-based classification. Of course, this integrated GEOBIA system is on the progressing stage, and further works are necessary. It is expected that this approach helps to develop and to extend new applications such as urban mapping or change detection linked to GIS data sets using GEOBIA.

중년여성의 의복이미지와 의복쇼핑성향의 관계 연구 (An Analysis of the Relationships between Clothing Image and Clothing Shopping Orientation of Middle Aged Women)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationships between clothing image and clothing shopping orientation of middle aged women. For this purpose, the subjects of 300 adult women from in their 40’s to 50’s, living in Daegu area were sampled out by convenient sampling method. The result of this analysis are as follows. 1)a factor analysis identified six different types of clothing image: classy, bold, plain, feminine, casual, and peculiar. 2)five different types of clothing shopping orientation were identified: conspicuous, conformable, hedonic, uniqueness conscious, and quality conscious. 3)the results of multiple regression analysis found that clothing images affected clothing shopping orientation of middle aged women. This meant that significant relationships existed among these variables and there was a causal relationship between clothing image and clothing shopping orientation.

Analysis of Off-axis Integral Floating System Using Concave Mirror

  • An off-axis integral floating system using a concave mirror is analyzed to resolve the image distortion incurred by the off-axis optical arrangement. The concave mirror can be adopted as the floating device to improve the optical efficiency. The image distortion due to the tilting axis of the concave mirror needs to be analyzed precisely to generate the pre-distortion image. In this paper, we calculate the image deformation in the off-axis structure of the concave mirror using the geometrical optics. Using the calculation results, the compensated elemental image can be generated for the pre-distortion integrated image, which can be projected to the floating 3D image without image distortion. The basic experiments of the off-axis integral floating are presented to prove and verify the proposal.
