  • In the study, Three-dimensional drawing parts for conformal cooling circuit cavity & core and their 3D Metal parts using DMLS(Direct MetalLaser Sintering) and NC integrated machining center were showned. For conformal cooling circuit cavity and core parts, I discussed its practicality to DMLS multiple machinins process introducing general manufacturing process and comparing with them.

  • Nanotechnology, which has become an important area of science, has caused an enormous developmental revolution in many fields. In the last two decades researchers have focused on overcoming the obstacles encountered during the preparation of nanoparticles. This article highlights the nanotechnology, along with a brief description of the manufacturing, concepts and activities of nanoparticles as alternative pesticides against plant pathogens, some methods for evaluation of nanoparticles against phytopathogens in vitro and in vivo, and explains the importance of some common nanoparticle types used in agricultural applications and plant pathology.

  • In this paper, comparing and analyzing the distribution of brightness as domestic lamps and Japanese products go thinner and lighter, we set an effective design standard. By comparing and analyzing the feature, brightness, chromaticity and uniformity of domestic LGPs and Japanese products, early home-manufacturing and stabilization in home-manufacturing are possible. By comparing and analyzing the distribution of brightness as sheets are varied, we can design an ideal sheet composition.

  • We report using thin steel strip (0,1mm) for manufacturing Inner Magnetic Shield of CRT. Here we report that the reducing of steel strip thickness from 0,15mm to 0,1mm is possible as for one-piece IMS and for two-piece IMS without any reflection on quality of CRT. Also we report about advantages, which the producer of CRT could reach using steel with lowed carbon content up to 0,0005% by mass.

  • The production of high value-added products requires efficient processing and this constant demand for complex shape processing has led to the need for hybrid processing. In this study, the surface characteristics of hybrid machining, which combines wire-cut E.D.M and vibration, are examined. The selected experimental parameters are verticality, waveform, amplitude, peak current and frequency. The experimental results provide a guideline for selecting reasonable machining parameters. Surface roughness was improved by increasing the amplitude of the vibration.

  • The bracket tilt among automobile parts is weld parts which construct the column assembly bracket tilt of equipments and accurate dimension after welding is more essential than weldment strength. By the way, it is insufficient that systematic study about this parts which have an importance on welding deformation. The reason is that welding deformation is complex problem with shape, size, material of parts and welding sequence, conditions etc. For reduction and removal of welding deformation, therefore, it is necessary that the security of welding deformation data and systematic examination about equipment, costs, work environment, manufacturing process etc. It is all the better that the prediction of welding deformation using simulation of welding process by FEA is supplemented. In this study, the countermeasure for this welding deformation of bracket tilt is brought up through experimental inspection before the choice of the optimum welding conditions with minimum welding deformation by simulation of welding process.

  • The technological innovation has been recognized critical factors of productivity of firms and key contribution of improvement of firm performance for a long time. Many researchers have investigated the relationship between R&D investment or patents as a proxy of innovation and productivity. But there were some problem such as lacking of data and ambiguity of innovation definition. So, previous literatures have some difficulty in reliability of analysis for using only survey data. And investigating the relationship R&D and other factors is very difficult. Therefore, this paper tries to investigate and analysis the relationship between innovation and performance of Korean manufacturing firms. Using KIS2002(Korean Innovation survey 2002) which was based on Oslo manual in 2002 and financial data of firms (KISINFO), I will intend to establish the reliability of multiple analysis. In detail, I will investigate whether the innovation input have effect on the innovation output, whether the innovation output have effect on productivity for heterogeneity and what factor of innovation environment have effect on the innovation itself.

  • The purpose of a fatigue crack arrest design is to prevent a fatigue fracture of machine and structure resulted from unstable crack growth. In all cases of load transfer to second elements such as stringers, doublers or flanges, crack arrest is possible; arrest occurring when the fatigue crack reaches the second element. In the present work, a numerical analysis was carried out to estimate the effect of shape parameters on fatigue crack growth and arrest behavior of integrally stiffened panels. Based on these results, a set of fatigue crack arrest design chart is presented as "non-dimensional arrest load - thickness ratio" relationship.

  • Recently, the work machine is widely used in the agricultural machine and to use the power source of the tractor, the mower had been widely used as a working machine for mowing. The mower is classified as a front mower, mid-mower, and rear mower according to the mounting position of the lower frame on tractor. The main structure of mower is composed of deck, gearbox, and blade. This study concerns a study on air flow characteristics of Mid-mower for tractor. An air flow characteristics of the Mid-mower deck was evaluated by the velocity vector, flow path, and total air flow according to the number of revolutions. As the analysis results, The inner path of designed deck had no effect on air flow.
