This study is intended to analyse the economic sensitivity of imported fishery products due to decrease in or elimination of tariff rates through the progress of free trade. Forty-seven species of fishes were selected for this study on the basis of the HS Code. The substitution and price effects were calculated using the price elasticities of both domestic and imported demands for fishery products under the assumption of 5% decrease in a tariff rate. Seven main economic variables were extracted from the fishery industry which can mediate the substitution and price effects. A multiple regression analysis was conducted to obtain the influence weights of these main economic variables on both effects. The order of sensitivity of the fishes was calculated using these weights. The 47 fish species were classified into four groups according to their sensitivity based on the means and the standard deviations of their total scores on seven main economic considerations. Nine fish species such as squids, hair tails, shellfishes, and crabs belonged to the hyper-sensitive group, whereas 15 fishes such as eels, sea breams, and sea weeds belonged to the sensitive group. Twelve species including common sea basses, cods, and abalones were among the less-sensitive group, and 11 species including skate rays and mud fishes comprised the non-sensitive group.

Copulas are a tool for constructing multivariate distributions and formalizing the dependence structure between random variables. From copula literature review, there are a few asymmetric copulas available so far while data collected from the real world often exhibit asymmetric nature. This necessitates developing asymmetric copulas. In this study, we discuss a method to construct a new class of bivariate asymmetric copulas based on products of symmetric (sometimes asymmetric) copulas with powered arguments in order to determine if the proposed construction can offer an added value for modeling asymmetric bivariate data. With these newly constructed copulas, we investigate dependence properties and measure of association between random variables. In addition, the test of symmetry of data and the estimation of hyper-parameters by the maximum likelihood method are discussed. With two real example such as car rental data and economic indicators data, we perform the goodness-of-fit test of our proposed asymmetric copulas. For these data, some of the proposed models turned out to be successful whereas the existing copulas were mostly unsuccessful. The method of presented here can be useful in fields such as finance, climate and social science.

In recent times, the Internet of Things (IoT) has rapidly emerged as one of the most influential information and communication technologies (ICT). The various constituents of the IoT together offer novel technological opportunities by facilitating the so-called "hyper-connected world." The fundamental tasks that need to be performed to provide such a function involve the transceiving, storing, and analyzing of digital data. However, it is challenging to handle voluminous data with IoT devices because such devices generally lack sufficient computational capability. In this study, we examine the IoT from the perspective of security and digital forensics. SQLite is a light-weight database management system (DBMS) used in many IoT applications that stores private information. This information can be used in digital forensics as evidence. However, it is difficult to obtain critical evidence from IoT devices because the digital data stored in these devices is frequently deleted or updated. To address this issue, we propose Schema Pattern-based Recovery (SPaRe), an SQLite recovery scheme that leverages the pattern of a database schema. In particular, SPaRe exhaustively explores an SQLite database file and identifies all schematic patterns of a database record. We implemented SPaRe on an iPhone 6 running iOS 7 in order to test its performance. The results confirmed that SPaRe recovers an SQLite record at a high recovery rate.
In this study, we analyze the behavior of concrete which contains zeolite and diatomite. In order to achieve the goal, we utilize expert system methods. The utilized methods are artificial neural network and adaptive network-based fuzzy inference systems. In this respect, we exploit seven different mixes of concrete. The concrete mixes contain zeolite, diatomite, mixture of zeolite and diatomite. All seven concrete mixes are exposed to 28, 56 and 90 days' compressive strength experiments with 63 specimens. The results of the compressive strength experiments are used as input data during the training and testing of expert system methods. In terms of artificial neural network and adaptive network-based fuzzy models, data format comprises seven input parameters, which are; the age of samples (days), amount of Portland cement, zeolite, diatomite, aggregate, water and hyper plasticizer. On the other hand, the output parameter is defined as the compressive strength of concrete. In the models, training and testing results have concluded that both expert system model yield thrilling medium to predict the compressive strength of concrete containing zeolite and diatomite.
Piezoelectric sensor-based health monitoring technique using a two-step support vector machine (SYM) classifier is discussed for damage identification of a railroad track. An active sensing system composed of two PZT patches was investigated in conjunction with both impedance and guided wave propagation methods to detect two kinds of damage of the railroad track (one is a hole damage of 0.5cm in diameter at web section and the other is a transverse cut damage of 7.5cm in length and 0.5cm in depth at head section). Two damage-sensitive features were extracted one by one from each method; a) feature I: root mean square deviations (RMSD) of impedance signatures and b) feature II: wavelet coefficients for $A_0$ mode of guided waves. By defining damage indices from those damage-sensitive features, a two-dimensional damage feature (2-D DF) space was made. In order to minimize a false-positive indication of the current active sensing system, a two-step SYM classifier was applied to the 2-D DF space. As a result, optimal separable hyper-planes were successfully established by the two-step SYM classifier: Damage detection was accomplished by the first step-SYM, and damage classification was also carried out by the second step-SYM. Finally, the applicability of the proposed two-step SYM classifier has been verified by thirty test patterns.
Ensuring both product quality and reducing material cost are important issue for the design of the piping system of an air conditioner outdoor unit. This paper describes a shape optimization that achieves mass reduction of an air conditioner piping system while satisfying two design constraints on resonance avoidance and the maximum stress in the pipes. In order to obtain optimized design results with various analysis fields considered simultaneously, an automated multidisciplinary analysis system was constructed using PIAnO v.2.4, a commercial process integration and design optimization(PIDO) tool. As the first step of the automated analysis system, a finite element model is automatically generated corresponding to the specified shape of the pipes using a morphing technique included in HyperMesh. Then, the performance indices representing various design requirements (e.g. natural frequency, maximum stress and pipe mass) are obtained from the finite element analyses using appropriate computer-aided engineering(CAE) tools. A sequential approximate optimization(SAO) method was employed to effectively obtain the optimum design. As a result, the pipe mass was reduced by 18 % compared with that of an initial design while all the constraints were satisfied.
The customer requirements are constantly changing in the hyper-competition and competition is becoming increasingly intensified. In order to ensure the competitive advantage in the industry should focus on the management activities to enhance customer satisfaction. High quality means pleasing customers, not just protecting them from annoyances. It is due to continuous and requires the establishment of a quality management system that meets the characteristics and systematization need to manage a stable quality and productivity, which should be done in a company-wide quality management activities. The purpose of this study is to identify a suitable organizational diagnostic model for considering to adopt ISO 9001 quality management systems. We used the three-round delphi techniques on a panel of 30 experts. A total of 26 assessment indicators were developed through this panel. First, it is important to evaluate the strategy about quality. Second, it is important to evaluate the systems about periodically communicating quality agenda. Third, it is important to evaluate the responsibility of overall business process. In conclusion, this study empirically shows how firms can develop an organizational diagnostic model to increase their quality management systems.
The fuel cell is a very promising power generation system combining the benefits of extremely low emissions, high efficiency, ease of maintenance and durability. In order to promote the commercialization of fuel cells, a flexible forming process, in which a hyper-elastic rubber is adopted as a medium to transmit forming pressure, is suggested as an efficient and cost effective manufacturing method for fuel cell bipolar plates. In this study, the ability of this flexible forming process to produce the micro channel arrays on metallic bipolar plates was first demonstrated experimentally. Then, a finite element (FE) model was built and validated through comparisons between simulated and experimental results. The effects of key process parameters on the forming performance such as applied load and punch velocity were investigated. As a result, appropriate process parameter values allowing high dimensional accuracy without failure were suggested.

The In the 4th industrial revolution, cyber space will evolve into hyper-connectivity, super-convergence, and super-intelligence due to the development of advanced information and communication technologies, which will connect the nation's core infrastructure into a single network. As applying the 4th industrial revolution technology to the cyber attack technique, it is evolving in an intelligent and sophisticate method. In order to response intelligent cyber attacks, it is difficult to guarantee self-defense in cyberspace by policy-oriented, preplanned-centric and hierarchical cyber response strategies. Therefore, this research aims to propose a situation-flexible & action-oriented cyber response mechanism that can respond flexibly by selecting the most optimal smart security solution according to changes in the cyber attack steps. The proposed cyber response mechanism operates the smart security solutions according to the action-oriented detailed strategies. In addition, artificial intelligence-based decision-making systems are used to select the smart security technology with the best responsiveness.
