다중채널 직접구동 엑츄에이터의 구동전류 동일화 루프 설계 (Current Equation Loop Design of Muti-channel Direct Drive Valve Actuation)

  • A Direct Drive Valve(DDV) hydraulic actuation system which is commonly used as an aircraft's control surface driving actuator has multi-loop control structure to ensure its safety operation. However, because of not perfect matching of one self channel characteristics with the others, the servo valve driving current of each channel can be widely different. Therefore, the long-time use of DDV actuator without any correction of these channel current offsets will cause the problem of performance or life expectancy degradation due to unwanted heats in the linear motor. A current equalization loop structure which can minimizes current offsets between channels is introduced and designed. The performance of the current equalization loop is investigated and verified through the analytic and experimental ways.

  • This study discusses the developement of hydraulic rotary actuator design technology for industrial machinery and earthmoving equipment. The lubrication and wear analysis of sliding components of the machinery are very important parameters to strength the design technique. The analysis and wear test are performed for the selected materials of the above mentioned coupled sliding members. The can be used to select the better combinations of sliding components.

  • An electro-hydraulic actuator (EHA) is widely used in industrial motion systems and the increasing bandwidth of EHA position control is important issue. The model-inverse feedforward controller is known to extend the bandwidth of system. When the system has non-minimum phase (NMP) zeros, direct model inversion makes system unstable. To overcome this problem, an approximate model-inverse method is used. A representative approximate model inversion method is zero phase error tracking control (ZPETC). However, if zeros locate right half plane of z-plane, the approximate inverse model amplifies the high-frequency response. In this paper, to solve the problem of ZPETC, an adaptive model-inverse control is proposed. The adaptive algorithm updates feedforward term in real-time. The effectiveness of the proposed adaptive model-inverse position control strategy is verified by comparison with typical proportional-integral (PI) control and feedforward control by experiments. As a result, the proposed adaptive controller extends the bandwidth of EHA position control.

Improvement of the Low-Speed Friction Characteristics of a Hydraulic Piston Pump by PVD-Coating of TiN

  • The hydraulic pump of an Electro-hydrostatic Actuator should be able to quickly feed large volume of oil into hydraulic cylinder in order to reduce the response time. On the other hand, it should be also able to precisely dispense small amount of oil through low-speed operation so that the steady state position control error of the actuator can be accurately compensated. Within the scope of axial piston type hydraulic pumps, this paper is focused on the investigation how the surface treatment of their cylinder barrel with TiN plasma coating can contribute to the reduction of the friction and wear rate of valve plate in the low-speed range with mixed lubrication. The results showed that the friction torque of the valve plate mated with a TiN coated cylinder barrel could be reduced to 22% of that with an uncoated original one when load pressure was 300 bar and rotational speed 100 rpm. It means that the torque efficiency of the test pump was expected to increase more than 1.3% under the same working condition. At the same time, the wear rate of the valve plate could be reduced to $40\sim50%$.

상부 콘크리트 구조물이 없는 소형 수문 시스템 개발 (The Development of Small Sluice gate systems without Upper Concrete structure)

  • 본 연구는 상부에 설치되는 콘크리트 구조물 없이 설치되어 작동하는 새로운 소형 수문 시스템을 제안하였다. 주요 메커니즘은 유압시스템, 수문 상하 이송 메커니즘, 수문 잠금 제어장치, 이물질이 감지되면 수문이 파손되지 않도록 하는 안전장치 등으로 구성하였다. 유압 펌프 및 제어 시스템은 수문 시스템의 위치에서 떨어진 장소에 설치하여 상부 구조물을 제거할 수 있도록 하여 제어 하였다. 수문 인양 장치는 유압 액추에이터가 달린 래크와 피니언이 측면에 설치되어 작동되며 그 결과 제품의 원가 절감, 작동시 안전성 확보 및 제품의 컴팩트화를 구현하였다.

EHA용 가변용적형 사판식 유압 피스톤 펌프의 하이브리드 제어 (Hybrid control of the swash plate-type variable displacement hydraulic piston pump for an EHA)

  • 본 논문에서는 압력보상형 사판식 유압 피스톤 펌프와 밸브 제어형 실린더를 결합한 EHA에 대하여 유압 실린더의 소비 유량이 작으면 펌프 회전 속도를 낮추는 새로운 개념의 하이브리드형 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 펌프 내 압력조절기의 사판각 제어와 간섭을 피하기 위해 위치 명령 신호의 속도 성분 평균치를 이용하여 펌프의 회전속도를 조절하였고, 시스템 압력이 기준치 이하로 낮아지는 것을 방지하기 위해 압력 스위치 기능을 추가하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실험 결과에 의하면, EHA의 동적인 응답 특성에 영향을 주지 않는 조건에서 하이브리드 제어를 통해 공전 모드에서의 펌프 회전속도를 1,800rpm에서 600rpm로 낮춤으로써 하이브리드 제어를 안 할 경우에 비해 펌프 구동 동력을 약 44%까지 절감시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

블랭킷 실린더의 인압제어 기술개발 (Development of Technology for Printing Pressure Control of Blanket Cylinder)

  • In offset or intaglio printing machine, it's operated with combination of blanket cylinder and impression cylinder. The blanket cylinder has some number of grooves to attach the blanket on surface. In case of operating the printing machine, it has generate mechanical impact noise when the two cylinders encounter with the grooves. So, in this study, we developed a printing pressure control algorithm with hydraulic servo control system. We also proposed simulation model of experimental device to analysis the throw on force response of hydraulic servo actuator. Finally, we have reduced the mechanical impact noise and improved printing quality with a groove detecting signal and PI control of hydraulic servo actuator.

차량 능동 현가 장치용 유압 액추에이터의 감쇠력 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Damping Force in a Hydraulic Actuator for Vehicle Active Suspension System)

  • Through experimental works, the damping force vibration problem was investigated, which results from valve and surge pressure in the oil return line of the hydraulic circuit of an active suspension system in a passenger cu. Experiments were carried out under passive system, where an orifice valve was closed and non-active system, where an orifice valve was opened, using a pressure control valve controlled by solenoid. The effects of parameters of the valve overlap and accumulator on smoothing surge pressure was elucidated. It was proved that the apparent variation of damping force due to the overlap amount of pressure control valve is the most important factor to control the damping force variation. The procedure of the experimental works shows the development process of a proportional pressure control valve in the hydraulics system of an active suspension system of passenger car.

작업장치 위치에너지 회생을 위한 하이브리드 굴삭기 시스템 개발 (Development of Hybrid Excavator for Regeneration of Boom Potential Energy)

  • Nowadays with the high fuel prices, the demands for energy saving and green emission of construction machinery have highly been increased without sacrifice of working performance, safety and reliability. The aim of this paper is to propose a new energy saving hybrid excavator system using an electro-hydraulic actuator driven by an electric motor/generator for the regeneration of potential energy. A 5 ton class excavator is analyzed, developed with the boom for the evaluation of the designed system. The hardware implementation is also presented in this paper. A control strategy for the hybrid excavator is proposed to operate the machine with a highest efficiency. The energy saving ability of the proposed excavator is clearly verified through simulation and experimental results in comparison with a conventional hydraulic excavator.

  • 고체 모터의 연소 중 피치, 요 축의 추력 제어를 위해 플렉시블 씰을 사용하였다. 수압시험장치는 챔버, 구동기, 카운터포텐시어미터 등을 이용한다. 압력별 구동 토크 측정 및 축방향 밀림량 측정을 수행하여 구동 성능을 평가한다. 시험 결과 플렉시블 씰의 성능은 설계 조건을 만족하며 수압시험장치가 정상적으로 작동하는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 플렉시블 씰의 성능을 측정하기 위한 수압시험장치의 구성, 작동 방법, 성능 검증 방법을 정리하였다.
