In this work we start from the thesis that Schiller's Aesthetic Letters contains two different doctrines of aesthetic education. When Schiller first raised the need of aesthetic education in his 1793 letters to Friedrich Christian von Augustenburg, he wanted to show that the taste for beauty contributes to morality and emphasized that man could reach pure reason only by way of beauty. When he revised the original letters and published them in 1795, he added some important parts concerning beauty as the condition and idea of humanity and the following arguments about 'aesthetic condition.' These added parts emphasize the harmony of reason and sensibility in beauty and the restoration of totality in 'aesthetic condition.' We examine the meaning and implications of 'aesthetic condition' in comparison with Schiller's 1793 doctrine of 'three-phase development of humanity,' and explain the background of this thought and also how it developed before and after Aesthetic Letters.

Su-un 'sicheonju' is emphasised transcendency of god that it is sincerity, earnestness and belief in the practice ethics. But he is exhibited the ancient sage-kings of ancient propriety and humanity, righteousness, propriety and wisdom. Su-un 'sicheonju' change 'insicheon' of Hae-wol at immanence of god the emphasis. He is exhibited 'sainyeocheon' in the practice ethics. Eu-am is changed 'Innaecheon' more immanence of god the emphasis. He exhibit good the subject of human. It's the change cause research Su-un. He exhibit Confucianism ethics at the same time as point out Confucianism because Hae-wol and Eu-am is changed the emphasis at the subject of human. It is influenced pantheism and the theory of social evolution.

Purposes: This research is conducted to identify main features and trends of mission, vision and core values in Korean tertiary general hospitals by using text-mining. Methodology: For the study, 45 mission, 112 vision and 190 core values are collected from 45 tertiary general hospitals' homepages in 2022 and use word frequency analysis and Leyword co-occurrence analysis. Findings: In the tertiary general hospitals' mission, there are high frequency words such as 'health', 'humanity', 'medical treatment', 'education', 'research', 'happiness', 'love', 'best', 'spirit', and mission mainly includes the content of contributing humanity's health and happiness with these words. In case of vision, high frequency words are 'hospital', 'medical treatment', 'research', 'lead', 'trust', 'centered', 'patient', 'best', 'future'. By using these words in vision, it represents the definition and characteristics of vision such as ideal organizations in the future, goals and targets. As a result of the Leyword co-occurrence analysis, vision includes the content of 'high-tech medical treatment', 'special care for patients', 'leading education and research', 'the highest trust with customer', 'creative talents training'. -astly, the high frequency word-pairs in core values are 'social distribution', 'innovation pursuit', 'cooperation and harmony', and it defines standards of behavior for organizations. Practical Implication: To correct the problems of vision, mission and core values from findings, firstly, it needs for Korean tertiary general hospitals to use the words that can explain organization's identity and differentiate others in their mission. Secondly, considering strengthening the role of hospitals in their community and the importance of members in organizations, it is necessary to establish vision with considering community and members to activate vision effectively. Thirdly, because there are no specific guidelines of establishing mission, vision and core values for healthcare organizations, this research concepts and results could be utilized when other organizations establish mission, vision and core values.

In the global context, particularly in Christian nations, Christmas is considered a culturally and ethically significant time. In this study, we examine Charles Dickens' novel, "A Christmas Carol," and the celebration of Christmas in Korea. We explore the values of Christmas in Korea derived from the significance and importance of this novel. These values include repentance, empathy, compassion, and the importance of humanity. Korean Christmas is regarded as a time for practicing these values, bearing a message akin to the transformation of characters like Scrooge. Furthermore, "A Christmas Carol" conveys a message of improvement and change over time, emphasizing change and growth in Korean Christmas. People reflect on their past, correct their mistakes, nurture hope for the future, and experience personal growth and transformation. Additionally, the novel raises awareness of social injustice and inequality, offering alternatives. In Korean society, Christmas encourages the willingness to care for and help others, facilitating discussions and understanding of societal issues. For these reasons, "A Christmas Carol" is considered a culturally and ethically significant time in Korean Christmas, and the two are intertwined in various aspects. This study explores the interaction between cultural change and ethical teachings by 'A Christmas Carol' and investigates the impact of this work on Christmas culture and social change. It serves as the basis for emphasizing moral principles and humanity during the Christmas season, and this research provides suggestions for future research directions, aiming to deepen the understanding of Dickens' work and the importance of "A Christmas Carol." Through these efforts, it is expected that valuable insights into the connection between Christmas culture and moral messages will be gained. In this study, we will delve into the enduring appeal and cultural significance of "A Christmas Carol," discussing how this novel has evolved into a beloved holiday tradition and a true symbol of Christmas. We will also examine the adaptation of this novel into various media and its influence on holiday season celebrations. Insights into the impact of this novel on Korean society and its continued significance in modern times will be provided, suggesting a direction for a healthier and more desirable path for Korean society.

'Arirang folk song in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea' was inscribed to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2014 and 'Tradition of kimchi-making in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea' followed in 2015. It is presumed that North Korea was influenced by the Republic of Korea inscribing 'Arirang, lyrical folk song in the Republic of Korea' to the list in 2012 as well as 'Kimjang, making and sharing kimchi in the Republic of Korea' in 2013. These cases show the necessity (or possibility) of cultural exchanges between the two Koreas through UNESCO ICH lists. The purpose of this article is to explore the possibility of inter-Korean cultural integration. Therefore, I would like to review UNESCO's ICH policy and examine the ways of cooperation and joint nominations to the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity between the two Koreas. First, I reviewed the amendments to the laws and regulations of the two Koreas and how the two countries applied the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. Although the cultural exchange is a non-political field, given the situation between South and North Korea, it is influenced by politics. Therefore, we devised a stepwise development plan, divided into four phases: infrastructure development, cooperation and promotion, diversification, and policymaking and alternative development. First a target group will be needed. In this regard, joint nominations to the Representative List of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity will be suitable for cooperation. Both countries have already started separate nominations on shared ICH elements to the UNESCO lists. Therefore, I have selected a few elements as examples that can be considered for joint nominations. The selected items are makgeolli (traditional liquor), jang (traditional soybean sauce), gayangju (homebrewed liquor), gudeul (Korean floor heating system), and jasu (traditional embroidery). Cooperation should start with sharing information on ICH elements. A pilot project for joint nomination can be implemented and then a mid-term plan can be established for future implementation. When shared ICH elements are inscribed on UNESCO ICH lists, various activities can be considered as follow-ups, such as institution visits, performances, exhibitions, and joint monitoring of the intangible cultural heritage. Mutual cooperation of the two Koreas' intangible cultural heritage will be a unique example between the divided countries, so its value will be recognized as a symbol of cultural cooperation. In addition, it will be a foundation for cultural integration of the two Koreas, and it will show the value of their unique ICH to the world. At the same time, it will become a good example for joint nominations to the Representative List recommended by UNESCO.

Built-up environments by humans are cultural byproducts which combine social ideology and architectural paradigm. The process of modernization in the Western countries has the characteristic of decisive paradgm based on materialism. Therefore, environmental design in modern world failed to focus on the essential features of humanity which are the subject of space and replaced it for objective and unilateral architectural environments, instead. Environment without supporting the human psychological and complicated behaviorism is as same as the hardware without the vitality. under these regards, this study will cover the design approach of pattern language as a design method of environment design. The purpose of design approach by pattern language lies in creating the space of flexibility, adaptability and strong vitality. It is summed up as humanization in space and it helps the user to verbalize individualized space language for their own. The range and method of in the study attribute to the pattern language of Christopher Alexander and a researcher' method on them. In premise that human behavior ought to the multilateral and indefinite under rapid change of circumstances in modern world, th study tried to find the design method stimulating creative behavior of human being.

Currently, the argument that humanity will eventually reside in some sort of a simulated environment with unlimited resources is actively being discussed in the realm of science and engineering. This paper addresses the issue from the perspective of computer engineering, more specifically in terms of the future gaming environment which is very likely to be brought to us in the form of virtual reality probably in the not-so-distant future. In so doing, Bostrom's simulation argument[1]and Kurzweil's singularity[5] are reviewed, and how our future adobe indistinguishable from our 'real' reality that may be attained by explosive technological advancement relates to the future gaming environment. The problem of human consciousness which is inevitably intertwined with the issue of living in a virtual reality environment is also addressed.

현대사회는 산업사회의 발달에 따른 물질 만능주의로 인해 이기적이고 배타적인 사회풍조가 사회 전반으로 점차 확산되면서 전통적 가치관이 경시되고 공동체 의식이 퇴색되어 가고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 인터넷의 발달은 시공간을 초월하여 가정과 학교가 가상의 공간에서 정보의 공유와 상호작용을 할 수 있게 해 줌으로써 웹을 활용한 인성교육이 가능해졌다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 웹의 특성을 활용하여 학습자가 다양한 체험활동 중심의 인성교육을 마을 단위로 실천하도록 한 후 웹 상에 구축된 인성교육 시스템을 이용하여 자신이 체득했던 체험활동 정보를 서로 공유하고 학생, 교사, 학부모가 상호 작용하게 함으로써 학습자가 지속적으로 인성 교육에 관심과 흥미를 갖고 참여할 수 있도록 하는 공동체 의식 함양을 위한 인성교육 시스템을 설계하였다. 더 나아가 웹기반 인성교육 시스템을 통해 마을을 사랑하는 마음과 공동체 의식을 함양하여 마을에 대한 긍지와 자부심을 갖고 상부상조하는 전통을 가꾸어 나가는데 도움을 주고자 한다.

Plastic pollution is threatening human health and ecosystems, resulting in one of the biggest challenges that humanity has ever faced. Therefore, this study focuses on the preparation of macroporous carbon from biowaste (MC)-supported manganese oxide ($MnO_2$) as an efficient, reusable, and robust catalyst for the recycling of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) waste. As-prepared $MnO_2/MC$ composites have a hierarchical pore network and a large surface area ($376.16m^2/g$) with a narrow size distribution. $MnO_2/MC$ shows a maximum yield (98%) of bis(2-hydroxyethyl)terephthalate (BHET) after glycolysis reaction for 120 min. Furthermore, $MnO_2/MC$ can be reused at least nine times with a negligible decrease in BHET yield. Based on this remarkable catalytic performance, we expect that $MnO_2$-based heterogeneous catalysts have the potential to be introduced into the PET recycling industry.

Text, as one of the most influential inventions of humanity, has played an important role in human life since ancient times. The rich and precise information embodied in text is very useful in a wide range of vision-based applications such as the text data extracted from images that can provide information for automatic annotation, indexing, language translation, and the assistance systems for impaired persons. Therefore, natural-scene text detection with active research topics regarding computer vision and document analysis is very important. Previous methods have poor performances due to numerous false-positive and true-negative regions. In this paper, a fully-convolutional-network (FCN)-based method that uses supervised architecture is used to localize textual regions. The model was trained directly using images wherein pixel values were used as inputs and binary ground truth was used as label. The method was evaluated using ICDAR-2013 dataset and proved to be comparable to other feature-based methods. It could expedite research on text detection using deep-learning based approach in the future.
