세월호 사건 피해자 가족의 고통 체험에 관한 연구: Parse의 인간되어감 연구방법을 적용 (Lived Experience of Suffering For Family of Victim with Sewol-ho Ferry Accident: Applied to Parse's Human Becoming Methodology)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 세월호 사건으로 가족을 잃은 피해자 가족의 고통 체험에 대해 알아보고 피해자 가족의 정신적 외상에 대한 작업치료의 필요성을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 세월호 사건으로 가족을 잃은 대상자 5명의 고통 체험을 확인하고자 Parse의 인간되어감 연구방법을 적용하였다. Parse의 연구 방법 패러다임에 따라 세월호 사건으로 가족을 잃은 고통 체험을 다룬 다큐 영상인 2차 자료를 선택하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 세월호 사건으로 가족을 잃은 가족의 고통 체험에 대한 세 개의 핵심구조는 1) 가족을 잃은 절망과 슬픔, 2) 일상이 무너져 내리는 듯한 무력감과 죄책감, 3) 남아있는 가족을 바라보며 고통에서 벗어나고 싶은 마음으로 나타났다. 구조적인 전환은 세월호 사건으로 가족을 잃은 애통함과 슬픔 속에서 압도적인 무력감을 느끼지만 희생된 가족이 세상에 없다는 것을 인정하고 싶지 않은 현실 부인과 살아있는 가족을 보면서 버티어 나가는 과정으로 제시되었다. 개념적 통합은 가치화와 언어화를 연결-분리, 노출-은폐하면서 강화시켜 나아가는 과정으로 표현되었다. 결론 : 세월호 사건으로 가족을 잃은 피해자 가족의 고통 체험은 무기력과 절망, 우울의 감정으로 인해 삶의 의미와 목적을 잃은 상태이다. 가족들에게 의미있는 작업을 통한 중재 프로그램을 개발하여 무너진 일상의 회복과 지역사회 참여를 향상시킬 수 있는 작업치료 중재가 필요하며 이에 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다.

Risk Analysis of Container Ship Accidents and Risk Mitigation Measures

  • The study performs a risk analysis on container ship accidents using accident data collected over the six years from 2006 to 2011, presents the resulting risk level, and suggests three risk mitigation measures to reduce the overall risk, for the safer operation of container ships. More specifically, starting from the initial accident of collision, we developed 13 different accident scenarios using event tree analysis based on which the overall risk level was obtained and presented as a FN curve. Since diverse human factors are the main cause of most of the ship accidents, our study focuses on the effect of reducing human causes on the resulting risk level. For the research we considered the injuries for the calculation of fatality with the help of MAIS. The results show that collision was the main type of accident, accounting for 62 % of all accidents, and the measures employed were proven to be effective in the sense that the risk level was much lowered and the average number of fatalities was also reduced. With more data accumulated, more precise risk level will be calculated with which the practical risk mitigating measures will be also developed. For future study, economic loss and environmental damage as consequences need to be considered.

화학사고 원인분석을 통한 예방대책 수립에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prevention Measure Establishment through Cause Analysis of Chemical-Accidents)

  • Even if several chemical accident prevention systems such as PSM(Process Safety Management), RMP(Risk Management Plan), etc. have been carried out, many chemical accidents have still occurred at industrial plants in Korea. We describe the status of chemical industry and the trend of occurrence of chemical accidents in Korea. And this paper analyzes the recent chemical accidents in eight ways. These ways include chemical accident forms, ignition sources, sources of chemical equipment, human vs equipment/material causes, worker's working situation, employee scale, hazardous substances, week & time, fatalities of manufacture & contractor's workers. Finally we proposes the four representative prevention measures brought to result of cause analysis by accident statistics.

피부 임피던스 신호 분석을 통한 졸음운전 판단 시스템 개발 (Automobile System for Drowsiness Accident Detection using EDA Signal Analysis)

  • In modern society, automobile is necessary vehicle. Automobile is a series of modern convenient. And the number of automobile is on the increase. But from you to year, automobile accident is on the increase, also. One of most reason that cause automobile accident is drowsiness driving. So, we plan to construct automobile system for drowsiness accident prevention for decreasing automobile accident. In this research, we built a drowsiness detecting device using EDA (Electro Dermal Activity) signal which is electric response in the human body skin. There are SIL (Skin Impedance Level) and SIR (Skin Impedance Response) in EDA. Mostly, SIL consists of DC element. On the other hand, SIL consists of AC element. We could detect the drowsiness condition with SIL and SIR signal.

자율주행자동차의 윤리적 선택에 따른 교통사고비용 분석 (An Analysis of Accident Costs according to Ethical Choice of Autonomous Vehicles)

  • 자율주행자동차로 인해 기존의 교통사고 원인의 대부분을 차지하는 '운전자부주의'로 인한 교통사고가 크게 감소할 수 있지만, '트롤리 딜레마', 차량 결함, 도로 함몰 등과 같은 사고를 피할 수 없는 상황이 발생할 수 있다. 이 경우 사람과 같은 윤리적 선택이 필요해진다. 본 연구는 돌발적인 싱크홀이 발생하여 자율주행차가 교통사고를 피할 수 없는 상황을 가정하고, 자율주행자동차의 윤리적 선택에 따른 교통사고비용을 시뮬레이션 분석을 통해 추정하였다. 이 때 자율주행자동차는 (1) 탑승자의 안전을 최우선으로 하는 이기주의, (2) 인명피해를 최소화하는 의무론, (3) 사고비용을 최소화하는 공리주의의 3가지 윤리적 선택 중 한 가지를 선택하도록 하였다. 분석결과, 이기주의의 교통사고비용이 가장 높게 분석되었고, 인명피해를 최우선으로 하는 의무론의 교통사고비용이 가장 낮게 분석되었다.

The Relation between Human Behavior and Safety in the Collision Avoidance Situation

  • It can be said that the relationship between the maneuvering ability of operators and the navigational environment affects the safe degree of navigation in the collision avoidance situation. In order to reduce the occurrence probability of accident and to maintain the safety, it is necessary to clarify the relationship between human behavior and navigational environment. In this study, therefore, we analyzed and discussed the relationship between the maneuvering characteristics and the safety focused on human behavior as a fundamental factor of marine accidents using ship handling simulator and questionnaire. As a result, we concluded that navigational environment changes variously and the maneuvering ability of operators also varies with the navigational environment, and the ship handling characteristics strongly affect the occurrence probability of accident.

  • For the prevention of marine accidents based on human factor, the risk assessment analysis procedure is proposed which consists of (1) the structural analysis of marine accident, (2) the estimation of incidence probability based on the Fault Tree analysis, (3) the prediction of ef-fectiveness to reduced the accident risk by suitable countermeasures in the specified functional system, and (4) the risk assessment by means of minimizing of the total cost expectation and the background risk. As a practical example, the risk assessment analysis for preventing is investigated using the proposed method.

  • Most industrial accidents occur when the workers' unsafe behavior and the unsafe situation of workplace take place at the same time. Although human's unsafe behavior is indispensable to work field, the evaluation scheme to detect the causes for the accident resulted from human's unsafe behavior and counterplan should be prepared to prevent and reduce accident. To do this, we first classify the specific background factors in terms of human inner factor and environment factor and then develop the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model to analyze the background factors that affect the worker's unsafe behavior. We also develop a checklist to be able to evaluate the occurrence possibility of individual worker's unsafe behavior.

Accident Prevention Model Using Signal Detection Theory: Case of Shipbuilding Industry

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to draw the accident prevention model using the signal detection theory, and to implement accident prevention program, based on a health promotion and support activities in a shipbuilding company. Background: Workers' health management is perceived important from the human resource management perspective, as well as from the personal perspective. Method: This study developed an accident prevention model by analyzing the correlation between 704 workers' health examination variables, and reviewed the verification of the model through a follow-up survey on the control variables and status of hazards targeting 650 workers for four years from 2007 to 2010. Also, a health promotion program was implemented targeting a production division to improve alcohol habits, smoking, musculoskeletal pain complaints and hearing control indices, which are the control variables of the model. Results: As a result of four years' implementation, the following effects were obtained: the days away from work fell 87.5%, and accident rate dropped 71.5% in 2010, respectively, compared to 2006, before the activity was implemented. Conclusion: This study shows that the accident prevention activities based on workers' health promotion activities are effective to prevent industrial accidents and injuries. Application: The research findings will serve as a practical guideline for establishing preventive measures in the shipbuilding company.

교통사고 조사의 과학화 기술개발 (Scientific Technical Development of Traffic Accident Investigation)

  • 요즈음 교통사고를 줄이기 위하여 IT 기술을 이용한 교통사고 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 뺑소니 교통사고 발생하면 가해차량을 현장에서 찾기가 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기위해서 RFID TAG를 이용해서 뺑소니 교통사고가 발생할 경우에 차량에 내장된 RFID 리더기가 상대방 차량의 차량번호를 인식할 수 있는 모의실험을 하였다. 뿐만 아니라, PDA를 이용한 인터넷 기반에서 교통사고가 발생한 경우에 현장에서 운전자가 교통사고현장 자료 및 운전자 인적사항을 경찰서나 보험회사에 전송할 수 있는 SW를 모의실험하였다. 모의실험결과 통과차량속도가 저속인 경우에는 70%이상 차량번호를 익식할 수 있음을 확인하였다.
