A Study on the Ventilation Efficiency of Apartment Housing Bathroom Based on the Flexible Installation Method of Exhaust Fan. (공동주택 욕실 배기팬의 플랙시블 덕트 시공상태에 따른 환기효율에 관한 연구)

  • The ventilation efficiency of apartment housing bathroom has been measured by the flexible's diameter, length, and installation format to the exhaust In. The gas density attenuation method of Tracer Gas Method has been specifically utilized for this measurement. Full size mock-up of apartment housing bathroom, which was approximately $100 m^2$ in size, has been established for the ventilation emciency measurement. In addition, the ventilation efficiency has been studied by the possibility of air-supply In. The diameters of flexible are 100 mm, 125 mm, and 150mm. It also have the length of 1.0m, and 1.5 m. The installation formats are I shape, L shape, and S shape. As a result of this measurement, the flexible which has the highest ventilation efficiency was the one has bigger diameter, short in length, and I shape installation format.

  • As data management and analysis technology advances, there is active discussion on how to utilize data generated in construction projects. Among them, the materials produced during the supervision work are highly useful because their generation cycle and format are regulated according to relevant laws. In this study, we analyzed whether the data produced during the supervision work in the construction phase of apartment housing can be utilized for project performance management. First, this study identified key data necessary for performance management through FGI with experts in the field of apartment housing. Next, we collected supervisory data from the case project and identified whether the data was generated, its cycle, and storage format. As a result of the analysis, the supervisory data contained various information that could measure the performance of construction projects and had the advantage of standardized data. In the future, utilizing supervisory data is expected to enable effective performance management of apartment housing construction projects.

  • House price prediction is a significant financial decision for individuals working in the housing market as well as for potential buyers. From investment to buying a house for residence, a person investing in the housing market is interested in the potential gain. This paper presents machine learning algorithms to develop intelligent regressions models for House price prediction. The proposed research methodology consists of four stages, namely Data Collection, Pre Processing the data collected and transforming it to the best format, developing intelligent models using machine learning algorithms, training, testing, and validating the model on house prices of the housing market in the Capital, Islamabad. The data used for model validation and testing is the asking price from online property stores, which provide a reasonable estimate of the city housing market. The prediction model can significantly assist in the prediction of future housing prices in Pakistan. The regression results are encouraging and give promising directions for future prediction work on the collected dataset.

  • Currently open spaces of an apartment housing complex are considered in Korea as a negligible live Place that only contributes to enlarge its construction capacity of an apartment without taking its effects on the living quality into account. This trend reduces outdoor playing activities of the children who are the main users of open spaces and consequently has a negative influence on the child's growth. Therefore it is a imminent problem that we should provide open space utilizing plans on the basis of the study upon the types of the children's playing activities within the residential environment. The study purpose is finding about an outside activity of the child takes any influence according to an apartment disposition format.

Construction of Total Information Portal Service for Korea Urban Regeneration

  • In this study, the total information portal service for urban regeneration was constructed to supply comprehensive information for Korean urban regeneration. The portal service is largely divided into an information analysis service for urban regeneration and an information disclosure service. For total information portal service, the information analysis service constructed a system for making district level decline diagnosis and city and county level potential analysis. Moreover, it can construct and control analyzed information specified at the district level. The information disclosure service consists of functions capable of recycling information, interworking the analysis service and facilitating expert participation. It also supplies data of total information DB in reprocessable format. For revitalization of communities, the information analysis service is constructed to lead experts on urban regeneration to share their opinions.

  • This paper describes the forming of fine gear housing using RP system. In order to apply 3D model formed through CAD software to RP system, it is necessary of transforming 3D model into STL file format. Besides, when the same shape is formed repetitively, we must solve the program that the shape accuracy of prototype is irregular. Therefore, we will make an experiment on influence of 3D model, file transformation and prototype on facetres, AutoCAD system value. On the basis of experimental result, we will develop an automatic file transformation program for RP. In the final process, we will manufacture on a better prototype according to the experiment result of fine gear housing.

  • With commencing trial 3D digital broadcasting, the studies on next generation digital broadcasting technology for coming UHDTV era is being actively progressing. In this paper, I propose surround audio formats for next-generation digital TV broadcasting, along with comparative study of major surround audio formats in use or under development. I did comparative study on current major competing surround formats such as Dolby True HD and DTS HD MA, along with NHK proposed 22.2 channel surround format for UHDTV system. Upon this comparative study and our housing situation consideration, I propose lossy compression 3D surround 7.1 channel surround format along with loosless 2.0 and 4.0 hi-fi format as next generation digital TV broadcasting standard. In lieu with this, I also propose transmitting binaural 2 channel audio data as sub-audio. It will give holographic sound experience when properly processed with individual HRTF (Head Related Transfer Function) with headphone. The table for data rate of each proposed audio format is also presented.

  • Research on the "Modernized Korean traditional housing" (Hanok) has been actively studied in succeeding to Korean traditional housing and providing the public with housing that required for modernized life style. The purpose of this study is to classify work sections for Hanok specifications. This paper analyzed the concepts and characteristics of existing specifications. It was found that the absence of standard classifications is one of the causes of missing work items and mixed scopes. Also, the contents of carpentry works have low level of details. Therefore, Hanok specifications, in this study, are required to have upper level standards and to encompass traditional and new construction methods. Further research will develop standard classifications, standard codes, and automated systems of Hanok specifications for improving quality and effectiveness.

  • The purpose of this paper is to find out and to show that the probability of the adaption of YURAGI theory of wall covering in interior design. By using personal computer, visible image of wall covering is inputted to a computer program as 'bmp' file, Windows bitmap file format, for Fourier transform. The evaluation indexes such as 'Map', 'YURAGI coefficient', 'Rest error', and 'Linearity' are defined to display the analytical result. The result of this study is shown by visual image and numerical value. As a result of this paper, we can understand that the psychological evaluations about wall coverings are different according to the YURAGI coefficient which came out by fluctuation analysis method as YURAGI theory. So, now we are able to know that the adaptation of YURAGI theory is very useful at psychological evaluation about wall covering.

  • This study was conducted to develop the Apartment Information System. This integrated information system is designed to provide a large number of users with the convenient, economical, and safe life in the apartment complex. The characteristics of this system are as follows; 1) The system was developed by CAD technology using 2D and 3D methods with Web base. 2) This system has 2-Tire structures which are able to embody the geographic information on the Web base without special Spatial Engine. 3) Since the spatial data applied to this system is a vector file format, the speed of electrical transmission is fast and it makes possible to search spatially for the client method. The results of this study may contribute to make use of the information system for apartment complex as follows; 1) This system can be used together by the communities of apartment residence, maintenance company and construction company. 2) Also this system can help residence to communicate sharing information and can support the apartment management with open information and clarity. Expecially, the practical data gathering was made for this study only.
