This study researched the relationship between the element of "Favorable and Friendly" emotion on product design and the consumer's reaction to it. The emotional elements used here were proposed in the existing study. The research method was divided into 1st test and 2nd test. In the 1st test result, Favorable was related to "want to own, simple, new product and high-class", and also connected with "digital product, gaming product and computers". The products related to Friendly had association with the items about "interesting, cute, familiar, warmth and soft", and also connected with "simple product (toylike, household items, etc), low-price product, product which likes a friend, soft product, kitchen product and beauty treatments product, and so on". In the 2nd test, the preference of emotional product was high than general product, and it was known from the evaluation about design preference and design elements. If the preference was high following the order as: "Formativeness> Trend> Aesthetics> Color", the difference among the scores were small. And then the result about the relationship of emotional design factor "Favorable & Friendly" and evaluation of design preference & design elements was extraction.

The Imwon Sipyukji of this study was compiled by Seo Yugu (1764~1845), a famous agronomical scholar of the late eighteenth century. The contents of this book are divided into sixteen chapters related to all the important parts of rural home life ranging from daily routines to social life covering the agro-industry and the six skills of manners, music, archery, calligraphy, mathematics and horseback riding. Seomyongji, one of the sixteen chapters, covers all that is necessary for living a rural existence such as house-building, clothing adornments and transportation as well as how to make and use daily household items. The contents of the Boksik Jigu sub-section in the Sumyongji chapter consist of eight large units covering men's and women's clothing, bedding and pillows, sewing tools, belt and shoes accompanying the attire and storage for clothes. These eight are further subdivided into 65 items, each warranting a detailed explanation. My study will translate the original Chinese text of Boksik Jigu into Korean. This sub-section in the Seomyongji chapter will facilitate an investigation into the information contained therein on attire and accessories.
This study reviewed the consumption patterns of high-income households and analyzed the ratio of major 6 expenditure categories including food at home, food away from horne, education, clothing, entertainment, and housing expenditure to total expenditure. We employed data from two different years (1997 and 1998) so that we could investigate the influence of the economy depression on the patterns and items ratio of consumption, For this purpose, the Daewoo Panel data were used. Also, data analysis was done with descriptive statistics, t-test, and regression analysis. The regression analyses were used to investigate the determinants of the high-income households' consumption patterns. The results of this study showed that food away from home, among 6 consumption items, seemed to be significantly affected by the depression, but still high-income households seemed not to lessen education expense. We included independent variables such as age, income, job, gender, debts and the likes. It was found that the age of reference person affected the amount of expenses for food, clothing, and entertainment. Other independent variables influenced different consumption categories. The results of this study would be useful for marketing strategies of fashion industries.
Purpose: This study explores the relationship between the health behavior and knowledge of elementary school students and the socio-economic status of their parents. Methods: A self-administrated questionnaire was provided to 238 students and their parents living within Seoul metropolitan area. The questionnaires were administered during December 2003. The relationship betweensocio-economic status, health behavior (19 items) and health knowledge (15 items) were analyzed using correlation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Multiple regression analyses were also performed in order to investigate the relationship between health behavior and socio-economic status. Results: The results of multiple regression demonstrated that the health behavior of children living in apartments was 2.29 higher ($\beta$=2.29) than those not living in apartments. Health behavior scores among students with highly educated mothers were 0.42 higher ($\beta$=0.42) than those for students with relatively uneducated mothers. These numbers represent statistically significant values. Conclusion: Since health behavior appears to be directly proportional to socio-economic status ofthe parent, active intervention may be required in order to improve the health behavior of children with poorly educated mothers and who live in independent or multi-household houses.

The major findings of this study are as fellows: First, the average monthly family income of the total sample is 3,480,000 won. The proportion of regular and irregular income among the total family income is 95.5% and 4.5% respectively. Second, the amount and ratio of monthly regular income fur each category are significantly different over the family life cycle. Third, the average monthly family expenditure of the total sample is 2,250,000 won. The amount and ratio of monthly expenditure of all items are significantly different over the family life cycle. The highest expenditure item is the traffic expanse and phone charge.
The purpose of this study is to investigate a clothing use by clothing buying tendencies. Data were obtained from questionnaires filled out by 183 housewives in Daegu, and analyzed by utilizing Factor Analysis, frequency, correlation and ANOVA test. The results were as follows: 1. The Primary Care Patient Measure of Safety (PC-PMOS) is a measure of safety that allows patients to evaluate contributing factors related to patient safety in primary care. This study aimed to examine which questionnaire items of the PC-PMOS could be used in Korean dental institutions. A survey of the Korean translation of the PC-PMOS, a self-reported questionnaire, was conducted in August 2022 by 400 adults who had used dental-care services within the last three years. Of the 77 items, 34 were selected using principal component analysis and two experts' evaluations based on face validity. Five domains were identified from factor analysis: patient centeredness, patient information update, complaint processing, communication, and information about the complaint process. The Cronbach's alpha of the data was 0.913, indicating high reliability. As a result of the generalized multiple regression analysis, regression coefficients were not statistically significant, except for household income. This indicated that there was no bias in the patient safety scores of dental institutions evaluated by patients within the range of independent variables used in this study. The five domains with 34 items identified in this study suggested the factors that contribute to the safety of patients who used dental care services in Korea. However, validation of this study result is still important to refine questionnaires suitable for dental institutions in Korea so as to further improve the quality of dental care.
The purpose of this study is to examine the remodeling behavior on the apartment built in furniture. The data were collected from 363 residents in Seoul area, living in apartments equipped with built-in furnitures. The major findings are as follows; 1)It was found out that 62-75% of those surveyed did not remodel their built-in furniture and 25-39% remodeled it. The major reasons for remodeling are the inconvenience in storing household items, lack of storage space and dissatisfaction of the design and color. 2)More than 80% of the apartment residents surveyed recognizes the necessity of the built-in furnitures, which were equipped already, in living room, kitchen, bathroom and the entrance area. A strong need is also indicated for the additional built-in furnitures in each bedroom, multi-service room and veranda. 3) This survey also indicated that 63-73% shows no intention of remodeling their built-in furnitures. On the other hand, 27-37% of those surveyed indicates their desire and plan to remodel them.
This paper evaluated the benefits of the National Health Insurance(NHI) and suggested the necessity of extending some oriental medical services into the benefits schedule in the NHI. Comparing the rate of public financing in national health expenditure in OECD countries and measuring out-of-pocket payments in total medical cost showed the level of insurance payments to total medical cost is approximately $50%{\sim}60%$ in Korea, which is quite insufficient to pay household medical expenses, although the NHI covers the whole population. A few of consumers' priority surveys for medical needs suggested herb medicine, muscle treatment, and manufactured herb medicine be included in the list of the NHI benefits, based on efficiency and equity criteria. It was estimated that the NHI can afford to cover these three items of oriental medical services.
In order for handicapped people to maintain better humane life, it is necessary to get statistics of them in developing appropriate national policy. However, it is very difficult to obtain baseline statistics on regular or occasional basis. It's reason is mainly attributed to attitudes of their family's tendency to conceal any existence of such memeber in the household. As a result, the statis-tics on the handicapped population is very inaccurate and under satisfaction. We must produce such statistics periodically in time and with accuracy. Thus, this study porposes five methods which, we believe, can produce reliable statistics of thehandcapped population : 1) vitalization through enforcement of handicapped information into the registration system, 2) inclusion in population census of items related to handicapped information, 3) improvement of the physically handicapped population survey scheme, 4) utilization of hospital patients' records for development of the statistics, and 5) an estimation through the labor force survey.
