Objective : The aim of this study was to develop the non-powered horse riding device and was to evaluate the elaborate its applicability throughout static structural and transient structural analysis of the outdoor core strength exercise equipment. Method : Fifteen college students (mass: $69.55{\pm}13.38kg$, height: $1.69{\pm}5.61m$, age: $21.42{\pm}1.83yrs$) rode the powered horse riding device and 14 college students (mass: $71.12{\pm}9.74kg$, height: $1.73{\pm}3.31m$, age: $22.50{\pm}1.47yrs$) rode the non-powered horse riding device for the comparison. All motion capture data was collected at 100 Hz using six infrared cameras and the muscular activities were collected using a Delsys Trigno wireless system. The peak forward/backward lean angle, range of motion anter/posterior and vertical COM(Center of mass) movement of trunk and pelvis segment, and muscle activities of six muscles were compared between the two devices by using independent t-test (p<.05). Results : Several kinematic variables (peak forward-backward lean angle and vertical COM movement of trunk and pelvis segment, range of motion of trunk) significantly different between non-powered and powered horse riding device. The muscle activities of Rectus abdominis and External oblique of abdomen on the non-powered horse riding device were significantly greater than those of the powered device. Conclusion : It was concluded that non-power horse riding device could give the effect of core strength exercise as well as the body motion which can simulate the powered horse riding device.
The purpose of this research is to prepare the measures for evaluating the job of horse-riding instructor and improvement related to it and for distributing horse-riding industry effectively. Forsuch, we tried to analyze job of horse-riding instructor. Inparticular, we have developed DACUM chart of horse-riding instructor through DACUM method and experts related to it. As result, we found out eight duties and hundreds of job and arranged seven duty areas in total and eighty-two executed works. In addition, as experts said, the horse-riding instructor is the one who 'instructs people learning horse-riding in horse-riding facility and manages horses, horse-riding equipment and man-power.' Such results provide the procedure of horse-riding instructor cultivation which has been presently underway with many viewpoints. Especially, there are three educational processes and subject materials related to horse-riding instructor's examination(Hipologia, Horse-treatment technique, Horse Health management). However, as result of analysis on duty, we found out that racecourse management and horse-riding education theory has been needed to be added and complemented as well. In addition, the work and duty of analysis can be used to be made use up of as work profile and specification and such data can be also made use of as standard of training and submission. Through this study there should be a necessary work to distinguish between re-drafting and role of duty in its own right related to certification of horse-riding instructor in future and it would be necessary to develop study that is able to connect them all to certificate. What is more, there should be work and measure required for rethinking of utility of certification.
This study is about the Korean Jockey's uniform, etc. and horse riding costume as the traditional riding culture grows. I studied informations from the Korea Racing Association's equestrian park, equine museum and Seoul Racecourse Trainers & Jockey's Association. The international regulations of riding costume are compared with Korean regulations, and I consulted some reference books, materials of sports wear and catalogues of some brands regarding horse equipment. The contents includes ; 1. Analysis of informations about horse racing 2. Study of racing, for detail comparative analysis on the following aspects ; -Symbolism, riding costume of jockey, that is, color·pattern·and some formal designs. 3. Suggestion for reasonable and fashionable riding costumes. In the aspects of design, there have not been any historical records, and material adjustments about riding costume in Korea. Therefore we should make more efforts to do developing our traditional costume culture. The result o this study is as follows ; 1. Riding is the sport of etiquette and manners. 2. Most of riding wears are the casual wear centered foreign licenced brands. 3. Study and investment upon specialized material development and processing technology are in demand 4. The need of the consumers are to be satisfied by the quality improvement of the native products design. In addition, we perform to horse racing which is fine play and leisure sports in current society. The horse riding will be a popular sports such as golf, wind surfing, skiing, etc. with the period including lots of kinds of leisure.
To keep relics excavated in the era of the Japanese Colonist's rule in the Korean Peninsula in order, the National Museum of Korea selected some of horse strap pendants (Haengyeob) that were excavated from Seobongchong, Sikrichong and Geumryeongchong, and it investigated conservation and production technique. The horse strap pendants selected were classified into three, that is to say, Oval and fish-tail shape, heart shape and atypical: At the results of microscopic observation, XRF and SEM-EDS analysis, base plate was made of iron, and top plate as well as pattern plate was made of iron, copper and silver. Both Oval and fish-tail shape and heart shape horse strap pendants had horse strap pendants having same production technique and sizes at all of three ancient tombs were made of iron and copper. The gold layer of horse strap pendants except the atypical one having no gold layer were made by amalgam gilding.
The purpose of this study was to examine how horse-riding exercise would be effective on the stroke patients' muscle thickness of lower extremity. The 30 stroke patients who were hospitalized in a hospital located in G metropolitan city were selected for this study. These subjects were randomly placed in a horse-riding exercise group (n=15) and a control group (n=15). The horse-riding exercise group received three 20-minute exercises a week for a total of 6 weeks. An ultrasound imaging equipment was used to measured The thicknesses of the rectus femoris (RF), tibialis anterior (TA), medial gastrocnemius (MG), and gluteus medius (GM). After the completion of a 6-week exercise program, same measurement was conducted for all study subjects. The data were analyzed using a paired t-test and independent t-test to determine the statistical significance. As a result, muscle thickness was significantly differentiated before and after the intervention in each group. The thicknesses of all the four muscles significantly increased after exercise in the horse-riding exercise group. The thicknesses of the RF, GM, and TA significantly increased after exercise in the control group. In conclusion, horse-riding exercise increased the thickness of the lower extremity skeletal muscles by stabilizing the knees and activating the extensor muscles of the lower extremities.
Recently, domestic animal disease caused tremendous damage to farmhouses and the damage stretched in nationwide with the spread of epidemic disease. To prevent animal diseases from happening again, the system development to easily measure the temperature of sick animals and identify of them is needed, thereby quickly treat them, reducing losses of farmhouses. However, a lack of related equipment and human resource hampered its effort to minimize its losses. This study tries to develop diagnosis system as part of measures to curb these domestic animal diseases. This paper present the 센서 node based on IEEE 802.15.4 which can be attached to the animal body for real-time temperature measurement. We design and implement tiny chip-type that can be attached to the body of animals. Then, we use available power only when measuring temperatures in a long term-basis. In this paper, the 센서 node was applied to horse's neck. We measure the horse's body temperature between $32.2^{\circ}C{\sim}33.7^{\circ}C$ and analyze phenomenon data for 4 months.
Purpose: The study aimed to evaluate working environment for dental technician by measuring dust level, ventilation conditions and the use of personal protective equipment and to provide basic information required to improve working environment and develop health education programs for dental technician. Methods: A total of 240 dental technician who are registered with the Daegu Association of Dental technician and working at 34 dental laboratories participated in the study. And the dust level was measured at 21 different spots in 16 dental laboratories out of 34. Results: Of 34 dental laboratories, 31 (91.2%) were equipped with a ventilator, but the remaining 3 (8.8%) did not have a ventilator. By the number of ventilator, 1 to 3 ventilators were found in 22 dental laboratories (71.0%), 4 to 6 ventilators were in 7 laboratories (22.5%) and more than 7 ventilators in 2 laboratories(6.5%). According to the frequence of changing filters in dust collector, 20 dental laboratories (58.9%) changed filters every four weeks, 10 laboratories (29.4%) changed them every six weeks and 4 laboratories (11.7%) changed them every eight weeks. Of total respondents, 114 (61.3%) said they wore a mask all the time while working, 56 (29.6%) said they frequently wore a mask, 19 (10.1%) said they did not wear a mask. As for the type of masks, 159 (84.1%) used a disposable mask, 25 (13.2%) used a cotton mask and 5 (2.7%) used an anti-dust mask. For dust sat on their outfits while working, 102 (54.0%) shook their uniforms inside workplace to keep dust off the uniforms, 64 (33.9%) did not anything until they wash their uniforms and 23 (12.1%) shook their uniforms outside workplace to keep dust off the uniforms. Of total respondents, 182 (96.3%) had a particle in their eyes while carrying out grinding work. Based on the measurement of floating dust at workplace, 3 dental laboratories showed dust concentration exceeding the minimum level of 10 mg/$m^3$ allowed under the permit for environment. Of those, 1 laboratory had the dust concentration that was more than 1.5 times higher than the minimum level. Dust concentration was higher in laboratories that used a dust collector with 0.5 horse power and changed filters more than 3 weeks ago. Dust comprised of nickel (more than 70%), chrome (9%) and others. The mean chrome concentration was more than twice higher than the minimum permissible level of 0.5 mg/$m^3$. There were two laboratories that showed chrome concentration exceeding the level of 0.4 mg/$m^3$. Like dust concentration, chrome level was higher in laboratories that used a dust collector with 0.5 horse power and changed filters more than 3 weeks ago. There were six laboratories that had nickel concentration exceeding the minimum permissible level of 1 mg/$m^3$. Of those, one laboratory had nickel concentration that was more than three times higher than the minimum permissible level. Nickel concentration was also higher in laboratories that used a dust collector with 0.5 horse power and changed filters more than 3 weeks ago. Conclusion: It is not likely that heavy metal concentrations found in the study constitute respiratory dust. It is however necessary for health of dental technician to apply the Industrial Safety and Healthy Law to dental laboratories and make recommendations for the use of personal protective equipment, installation of a proper number of ventilators, more frequent change of filters in dust collector and improved ventilation for polishing work. At the same time, dental technician need education on how to use personal protective equipment and how to efficiently remove dust from their uniforms.

Thousands of demersal fishes inhabit in the waters around Korea and most of them are overexploited. One of reasons is technological development, which increases the efficiency of the vessels continuously. The analysis was conducted to identify the change of fishing power index to develop the vessel and gear technology that may have improved the fishing efficiency of the Danish seine fishery from 1960s to 2010s. Gross tonnage was decreased stably, but the horse power was increased annually. The length of ground rope, warp and hand rope was somewhat longer, but changed a little. Color fish finder was utilized from the mid-1960s and positioning system was used five years later. A hydraulic line hauler were introduced in the mid-1980s, and supply rate was gradually increased. Surveys on the supply and upgrading of fishing equipment utilized visiting researchers. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the Danish seine fishery increased stably from 1.0 in 1970 to 1.0 in 1980, to 1.2 in 1990, to 1.3 in 2000 and to 1.3 in 2010. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management.

The industrial accident in subway of late is increasingly coming to the front as a serious problem of society because a scale of industrial accident is a large size, and powerfulness, while the percent of accident is decreasing as a result of industrial facilities with the largeness of equipment, automation, and high horse-powering. In this paper, a study on the estimation of accident loss prevention cost and risk analysis in subway construction is proposed as an alternative to the techniques currently used in the general construction projects safety. Then the concept of risk evaluation using a risk assessment model is presented to drive value of risk and numerical example for risk analysis. A means for this does grasp the importance of educational factor by way of analyzing the causes of accident through statistical data of labor department, emphasizing the necessity and the importance of safety education, being helpful to act safety by decreasing insecure activity which ranks the majority of accident causes with putting the education program, form, method into practice that are suitable for a place of business.
